Looking forward to meeting with you about our district and our community.

DelawareNative: all but 8 signs picked up, they have THANK-YOU plastered on them in the corners and I will get them picked up this weekend, well within the 30 days required by the Dept of Elections.
Playing the Game: Thanks for defending me, I am back but will not be as vocal as before the election. I have another new gig that will allow me to be vocal, and I hope to start getting Homeowner Association and Civic Group meetings on my schedule.
Hartlyboy: Thanks for the support. I will see you at Levy Court.
SOHR: You will need to discuss this issue with the State Representatives and Senators who write these types of laws. Levy Court does not have any input into the Delaware Code that legislates the level of a sexual offense. I can tell you that I have a friend who was charged with a sexual offense when he was a 19 year old and had consensual sex with a 17 year old. he tried to fight it, but the girl's parents were adamant. He spent a couple of years in jail and a few more on probation and is forever considered a sexual offender.
To the rest of the forum readers who are reading this because of the title.... Thank-you for you vote in the recent election. While 41% of the voting public did not agree with my stand on the issues, my last name, or my political party, I will represent 100% of the residents in the District and County, regardless of their party or stand on the issues.
As promised, I have scheduled a public meeting for residents to attend, Thursday, January 15, 2009, 7:00PM, at the VCF Ruritan in Viola, DE. Future meetings will depend on the participation and additional legislators will also be invited to attend to openly discuss the issues.

Thanks and not the guy I know. The guy I know was not in this state when the event happened. He is actually much older now, apparently there is no statute of limitations on a sexual offense either.
Everyone knows my story with a local sex offender, actually it was child pornography, and he was not persecuted enough.

There is a sex offender in Camden that used to be a school teacher, and who had sex with a student. Everyone in town knows who he is, and I would say that yes, he is persecuted. He should be.

| Sorry SOHR but Levy Court does not rule on the treatment of sex offenders. You need to discuss this with your state Rep or Senator.

| So Mr. Sweeny... now that you are there, what are you going to do about the rights of the Sex Offenders... I am not talking about Child Predators, but the sex offenders who made a small mistake. (like public sex, romeo and juliet, and public urination) I am just wondering your position also of the un-fair Megan's Law. Just so you know, SOHR stand for Sex Offenders Have Rights.... That is a new non-profit seeking to help out the offenders who are persecuted.

| Why would Forum readers cringe because Sweeney won? I'm not a Democrat, but I think the man will do a good job looking out after the interests of the District and the County. I certainly support his stand on trying to control the rampant overdevelopment that was taking place before the downturn and will resume again when the economy brightens. Now is a good time to get people in place who will fight that.

Those would belong to Bennett. Donna had hers coming down in the rain on Wednesday. State code allows the candidates 30 days. Then you can bitch.
Jody has been responsible in the past with removal, no reason to think he won't be now.

Sorry PTG, did not mean to offend those who work full time. Please accept my sincere appologies. To anyone out there that was offended by my earlier post, I appologize.
