The police can obviously make arrest without enough evidence... they did it. In this country it is innocent until proven guilty. Well, maybe you haven't heard they did NOT find her guilty - and this was from a jury of 12 - they unanimously found her innocent.
The school was obviously out on a witch hunt looking for someone to pin this one and she was their target.
Sounds like to me it's sour grapes from you...you must be one of the prunes within the corrupt Lake Forest School District?
Lake Forest should be bending over backwards helping her and her family put their life back together after they are the ones that tore it apart!

Its pretty sad that Lake and the police accuse someone of something that they are later found innocent of and that persons life has been dramatically changed forever! To not allow Mrs. Fluman to return to teach is a disgrace! But why would she want to anyway...given what she has gone through.
Maybe Lake can find something to point fingers at and get out the riff-raff teachers that they've hired that can't even teach. The papers should be checking out Lake's summer school roster at the High School alone! Especially the Math classes! Lets see what teachers return; and if they were let go or went on their own accord for the next school year. Wise up Lake! You have lost a great many "qualified" teachers in the last few years to other schools... why? could it be administration support, school board support,....??? Do the Math

I'm assuming that you don't know Mrs. Fluman, or the fine teacher she is. It's easy to point fingers and accuse people when you don't know them (and kick them when they are down). And by your tone, it also sound like you are one of those people who never admits they are wrong even when you are.
Obviously you are not familiar with anything other than the tripe the papers put out. You can be arrested for just about anything these days. Being arrested for a crime and being guiltyof a crime are two different things. This was a trial by jury, which means that 12 independent jurors from all walks of life heard testimony and reviewed evidence from prosecutors and defending attorneys, and testimony by witnesses. 12 jurors arrived at a unanimous decision that she did not do it - their decision was based on the evidence that she was arrested for and the testimony of witnesses.
As a good Christian, I will pray that you never are put through something similar. As a person, I can't say how I hope you are rewarded someday.

| We'll it wasn't just Lake Forest that apparently thought she was guilty - since she was arrested there must have been enough evidence for the police to arrest her. For one - I am glad if they don't hire her back!

A sickening twist of events regarding Mrs. Fluman's teaching again at Lake Forest. Word is that even though she was proven innocent and unanimously aquitted by 12 jurors, Lake is going to terminate her anyway.
I and a lot of other Lake parents question the honor and integrity of Dr. Curry for persuing this action. It appears to be a vindictive act on his part. Smearing Mrs. Fluman's reputation in the press is bad enough, but ruining their career to save face because of Lake jumped to conlusions is just wrong. This seems to be our leadership people - continuing to kick a person even when they are down.
