so im sorry to say this but i am a cheerleader and i found out about this; parents you need to grow up you teach us kids not to gossip and talk about other people and drama but you are doing the exact same thing! you expect us to learn but how are we suppose to learn when you do the stuff that you dont want us to do! talking about our AMAZING coach that has won us so many 1st place trophies; i have spent many nights at her house and its just like being at mine, shes acting just like my mom she wouldnt ever let me do anything that a young girl shouldnt do. YOU PARENTS NEED TO GROW UP; THIS IS FOR HARRINGTON CHEERLEADERS WE WORK OUR BUTTS OFF AND ARE DEDICATED WHILE YOU GUYS HAVE MAJOR ISSUES AND JUST DECIDE TO TALK ABOUT PEOPLE ALL DAY LONG! GET A LIFE!

| Ok Dawne,, I have no problem with Donna specifically and to be precise... i spent alot of time with Courtney throughout the football season but rarely have time to now. Defending Courtney had NOTHING to do with my post. I did not have ANY idea of the ins and outs of this situation until these postings started. The postings were addressed in an inappropriate fashion... and in my opinion.... were ridiculous. To my knowledge, and not from Courtney or any other person affiliated with cheer specifically... I was told that a formal complaint was not made until AFTER these postings started.. Secondly.. my comments were not directed at donna specifically... read it again... I said EVERYONE That posted negative comments was a coward. Thats how I feel, thats what i believe. I have no idea who you are in fact during my summer and the short time i knew Donna I never heard her mention your name because at that time Courtney was her closest friend.. out of her own mouth. this is what i am talking about... you picked a portion of my post and made it speciffically about you.... you are not soooooo important that its only about you!!! Get over yourself! This program is for children my posting was for them. not about YOU or Donna.

| noo team player it is you that is incorrect hurricanes was very much the brain child of courtney the reason for it was because the teams we keep losing to in NJ and get so close to going to nationals and dont have all year round teams and get around the system so "she" decided after the second compitition in NJ that if they could we could and here we are today. NO ONE is trying to say she walks on water or taking away from the girls but cheerleaders are only as good as the coach teraching and guiding them!!!! the girls have even greater potential they even they realize if they were just a little more disciplined and less rowdy, but at that age all girls ( and boys for that matter) are because life is fine and exciting as it should be. but you are also wrong in that our first win in salsbury was after courtney came, and our first time making it past qualifiers in NJ was after courtney came. every year these girls get better and better and they deserve a good coach that can take them to nationals and show they are the champions there that they are here!!!! this just might be the year they do if all this stupid nonsense is put to rest and people just let it go!!!!

| You are forgetting that this program is not about the coach but about the CHILDREN. There are those that choose to stand behind the coach no matter what and those that are willing to stand up for what they believe in - the children and the programs. Forget the BS and remember what is important!!!!!

WOW!!! It seems as though some parents have some real issues that need to be delt with. However, I don't think that this is the place to deal with them. What will be resolved by posting all this mess on here? The only thing that will come of this is people who know nothing about these situation will only draw their own conclusions of what happen in the first place and we all know what happens than... rummors.
Lets all agree that no one is perfect as we do not live in a perfect world however, We can all rally together and show that perfect team spirt and cheer these girls on. We have TWO big weekends coming. Its time to put the past in the closet and look forward to the future. The only people who get hurt by all the crap is the girls. I thank God everyday that my daughter has no clue what is going on. My hope is that your girls don't know. I know some of you are first to share. Every girl in Huskies and Hurricaines work hard everday to put what they do (under Courtney's guidance) on the mat. All these girls look for at the end is the proud supportive faces of their coach and parents however, if the parents are all fighting with each other how can these girls feel proud??? I will tell ya My daughter was not even on the pee-wee team this past year however, you would have though she was.... I as a parent of a Huskie was just as supportive of the pee-wees as I was the mighty-mights. But if we all are busy worried about who is in whos hotel room, or who said what to who, or who the coach had in her office, how can we put our full attention on the girls??
Don't get me wrong the world is not perfect, we as woman are natually catty but, you need to leave it in your home........ If you are worried about your child than you have choices....
1. Make sure you are with your child at all times......Escort them to and from events.
2. Remove them from the program (however, this would be a sad resolution you do have this oppurtunity).There are others out there. If you think you would be happier (which I doubt seeing how its always the same people starting the drama).
My Final thought.... Lets go Hurricaines!!!! Girls put it all on the mat and leave nothing in the gym... Bring back another trophy for all to see how great you are!!!!

| Hi Sam! This is Dawne, Donna's best friend!!! Just to straighten a few things out,you need to know that none of these women are cowards and especially me. I have or never will have a problem saying what I need to say to someones face. All of us have stepped up over and over to Courtney when it comes to our concerns! The reason Donna started this forum was to clear up the lies that are being told about her and her daughter. Everything was over and done with until Donna was informed by many parents that once again Courtney was starting stuff by pulling parents into her office and running her mouth and this is not the first time!! My children mean the world to me and any one that knows me knows that and at any cost I will protect them. I will say yes leave the children out of all the grown up drama and I nor any of my TRUE FRIENDS have ever treated any of the children with nothing but love. I will say it again all of these girls are great and they all deserve respect. Sorry but we feel that these girls are the ones that deserve the praises for accomplishing what they have and not the grownups or pretend grownups!!! Nothing against you but the truth needs to be told! I am done with all of these games and so should ever one else.

if you want to lie and accuse a child for grabbing a beer from an adult.....that doesnt make sense, if a child tried to grab a beer out of my hand um i would tighten my grip and tell her i dont think so. you people are going way off topic here, bringing up issues that have nothing to do with the situation, like where was the mother, it doesnt matter. the mother had made prior arangements that her daughter would be in the coaches care that evening.
if that parent was defensless against a 12 yr old... that adult has no control over any child.
And why are so many people coming forward to the parent as recently as last week saying the coach is pulling them into her office telling lies about why the child left and lies about her mother. Thats why this whole forum got started...She felt she had to publicly defend herself against the lies started by the coach. Good for you sam for posting your name. you may be a newbie to the team but you and the coach are verygood friends and spend lots of time together, you can figure out whos who because the coach has probably told you what she thinks. of course you will back your bestfriend. unfortunately when people post their name their child suffers the consiquense. the parent who origionally posted was obviously not hiding. her daughter has left the team and everyone knows who that is. she stated things that everyone knew about her child. that was intentional. It is ashame that you adults out there lie to cover other adults actions when they harm children just because theyre friends of the coach.... also the falling out between the parent who left the team was due to the coach lying about these abusive parents being left in charge of these children. I am sure youre daughter will never have to suffer this kind of thing because of your friendship with the coach... And as for adult content, maybe you should tell your friend coach, she should watch what she tells children about her personal sex life. Want to talk about adult content the coach starts alot of that. I dont understand why she always has certian cheerleaders over to her house everyweekend, then these girls go to practice and my child has heard things at practice from the girls who stay with the coach every weekend that a child her age should never hear, and those stories originated from the coach telling the children. now thats adult content children should never hear. If you parents are worried about what your child sees on the forum, have you heard of parental control. my child wont read it because i wont allow it. would you also balme a porn site if your child pulled that up, it would be the parents fault. parents should control what their children are exposed to.

| just for the record I happen to know the other guy you want to accuse the parent of being with not her husband. that was the cheerleaders Father whom she was meeting for the first time. the date happened to be on her birthday. the daughter spent the evening with him and the daughter was with her cheer friends under her coaches care for a bit when the beer incident happened. I know that for a fact. do you honestly have nothing else to use against her. I also know for a fact the womans husband was very aware about the reunion taking place. the very ones who are accusing her of being w another guy are the same ones who were so excited for the child to reunite with her father. this is a personal matter that has nothing to do with the issue. Its crazy that you want to twist a perfectly innocent story and make it look like something it was not. again it doesnt matter where the mother was at the time, the coach was responsible for a few of her cheerleaders at the time. like it was stated eariler the child was in the coaches care. the mother did trust her at the time. And for the record I was there when the mother went to the coach as soon as she found out about the incident, the mother was lied to about the actions that would be taken in both situations. with the woman yelling and screaming, the mother tracked down the coach as soon as she got home from work and consoled her child. also the coach at the time of the incident had informed the mother that she was the president of hpr. Bill was not part of the program at the time. I am sure he will take the necessary steps he is a great guy and very professional. thank goodness for that. I can tell you I am sure if Bill was involved, or the woman we had before, Lisa O this situation would have been handeled correctly. Well I hope the girls do well but give credit where credit is do, who is out there on the mat? the girls they are the real performers, they are the reason for the trophies.

| Very good case of people not knowing what they are talking about. Yes Huskies was started long before this coach came about and quite frankly the program was doing great. The Hurricanes were started by HPR not the coach. The coach was selected for the program. It was HPR's idea - HPR's goal is to provide programs for the children of the community. Give credit where credit is due - this coach does NOT walk on water!!!!!! And again I will state that the coach does not make the program but the children do. No one offered beer to a child. The child grabbed the beer out of the parents hand. This has been blown up way out of context.
It seems to me that their are some parents who think that their child does no wrong when in fact they do. None of us are perfect, neither are our children.
From the information I have received, there was a falling out about parents and they are using everything they can to continue to feed this fire.
What will happen is that friendships will be broken all because some parents think that their children do no wrong.
The child did not grab the beer out of a parents hand. Were you there. No one said their child is perfect.
