This will be the last post until after the election. I did the same thing for the Primary. It is important that you look at all of the issues surrounding the 5th District, and not pay attention to the rhetoric shown here in these blogs. Many of these blogs more than likely come from the same person, but they are all the same. They tend to inflame the situation and do not stick to the issues. I have posted a number of times my position on the issues and why I think I am a better candidate than my opponent. All of this information is important to a resident in the district, and nowhere to be found on my opponents website, media ads, or campaign literature.
If you want continued development, schools, roads, and emergency services lagging behind infrastructure. If you want prperty taxes to incresae just to pay for that infrastructure. If you want developments out in the more rural areas of our County, then by all means, vote for Mr. Edmanson on November 4th. If these things bother you, and you want to change how Levy Court and the 5th District Commissioner represents you, vote for George Sweeney on November 4th.
It has been great posting and sparring with all of you. I am glad that you are all so invovled in the political process that you participate in the newest of Town Meetings in the forums. I will post again after the election. When I win, I will post to say thank you, then sign off to provide a better method of communications to the constituents in the District.

Nice try GATORS & IMNOONE I will NOT stop posting to suit YOU and the EDMANSON team. All you all do is post negative comments about Jody Sweeney. Trust me when I tell you we know who you are and people are tiring easily of your negative campaigning. So put your efforts into doing something positive for your candidate. As we know he really needs some help.
P.S. You might want to be careful and pay attention to your posting since you just said the same under GATORS name. HAHAHA BUSTED

Correction...Mr. Sweeney did NOT bring this up I did. It is FACT Mr. Edmanson called this man and Instilled nothing but UNTRUE gibberish into his mind. And to take this out on him IN FRONT of his daughter is just plain NASTY!!!!!! As far as bringing his daughter out while campaigning...I saw EDMANSON with his 2 daughters last Friday night at the CR Homecoming handing out literature with his children. Would it have been ok with him had I walked up in front of his children and started yelling what a bad person he is in front of them? That would be uncalled for and we supporters of Mr. Sweeney would NEVER DO THAT EVER. All of your nasty posting will not change people minds. We will still vote to ELECT JODY SWEENEY and you will see who the residents want in the 5th dist.
So if Mr. Edmanson's watching or in fact this is him blogging under a fictitious name he want to tread lightly on his accusations

Geez you people just continue your dirty politics don't you. Juging by the amount of posts and the fact that we are about 1 week away from the elections your campaign leaves a lot to be desired. EDMANSON is the POOR choice for Levy Court. Just look at all the empty promises. His record speaks for it's self. Mr. Edmansons people in his campaign have stooped to lies and hurtful accusations even against his children. Geez to have someone say the things to him with his daughter present just makes me sick to my stomach. How would he like someone to do that infront of his 2 daughters? You people are grasping at straws with your senceless attacks on him. Oh by the way you need to reread what names you stated he's posting under...LOOK closely at my name it is NOT.......kent5thres Again you people and you accusations GET THEM RIGHT!!!!!!!!

I love how the only response we get to these critical questions are quotes from Mr. Sweeney's website and spam from one of his aliases.

Is it illegal to threaten to release confidential personnel information about a State employee?
Do you think this is appropriate behavior for individuals in supervisory positions with the State?
A quote from Mr. Sweeney:
"I have known Mr. Edmanson for nearly eight years. WG, do you REALLY want me to go into why you were hired at OIS or exactly what the Operating Room Shift Supervisors thought about your performance? As the Manager of that Division, I have that information for the years I was there, and have since discussed that very issue with those who worked for me, who you worked for. You choice.... [sic]".

Friends,
George "Jody" Seeeney cannot win the Levy Court Seat for the Fifth District. The simple fact is that the man, in my humble opinion, is unfit for public office.
Let's briefly examine the issues, using Mr. Sweeney's own words from this very forum.
1. Jody Sweeney creates, and has used, aliases on this forum, admittedly, to advance his vitriolic, and often defamatory, political agenda.
Mr. Sweeeney's own words:
"I claim URKidding (started as a way to provide information about the campaign financing for Sean Lynn) and my own name. having been involved with computers all of my life, it is pretty easy to create an alias that can't be traced"
"TNJ, I started the kent5thres id, but turned it over to a friend after I had a discussion with the Mayor of Camden and use of the forums. I started using my real name for everything, but chose to create URKidding to make some points about Sean Lynn. I thought it would be better to remain anonymous."
"I am not asking for you to come clean, I would not have had I not messed up. "
And, most tellingly, and most duplicitously, Mr. Sweeney will have conversations with his aliases, and they'll even slap each other on the back:
"URK is right, though".
2. Jody Sweeney is a bully, and has threatened to use information gleaned from his supervisory position at DelDot to harm his political opponent.
Mr. Sweeney's own words:
"I have known Mr. Edmanson for nearly eight years. WG, do you REALLY want me to go into why you were hired at OIS or exactly what the Operating Room Shift Supervisors thought about your performance? 3. When confronted, Jody Sweeney accuses, without any evidence, his critics of having committed crimes.
Mr. Sweeney's own words:
"Let me relay Mr. Edmanson's campaign strategy: 2) take down my opponent signs"
"I have lived in this county for 48 years. For the last 22, I have been heavily involved in the political environment and know exactly what happens. Look at a couple of homes owned by past Levy Court Commissioners and the driveway installed for another past Levy Court commissioner! Those are special interest paybacks for a job well done. Am I saying that Sean Lynn would do the same, absolutely not. I am saying that the historical precedence is there. Those Commissioners were funded by real estate special interests and they were justly compensated for turning the other way as the county open space was raped. "
Mr. Sweeney, accusing individuals of having committed a crime is libelous. You have not produced a shred of evidence to back up any of these allegations.
4. Mr. Sweeney "cries wolf".
Any individual can review Mr. Sweeney's posts, extending back for months, and clearly see how he likes his politics - DIRTY. Yet, of late, when his own actions begin to reflect poorly on him, he cries wolf and accuses his opponent (who has the good sense not to stoop to posting here) of dirty politics. Laughable.
