Inclement busses set to roll for walkers in Laurel
LAUREL – Laurel School District students in grades 7-12 who walk upward of two miles to school soon will not have to brave wintry weather.
Two busses, one for Laurel Middle School students in grades 7-8 and another Laurel High School and grades 9-12, are set to roll next week in the district’s optional inclement weather busing program.
The busses will be available to take students walkers to and from school Dec. 1 to 2009 spring break, said Marsha Murphy, superintendent secretary.
