I think that I have seen these two before...I think they were in Brokeback Mountain, and if that is the case someone should tell them that it is much quicker to get to Rehoboth by biking down Route 1.

Ok, I will try to be good.

This morning while driving on Burnite Mill Rd, I was at the stop light at the Milford/Canterbury cross road with the right of way.  As I was turning left, two males on bikes went through the light right in front of me, I hit my brakes and honked the horn but to no avail.  The men continued down the road and the one in white gave me the finger and said some obsene language.  I turned around and went back and took a picture of them as they were so kind to look at me as I slowed down.

That is one of the problems with the bike riders in this county.  When they have the ride to the beach they come down our road nw of felton and are a really rude bunch.  They throw their trash all over the place and NEVER stop at any stop signs pulling out infront of traffic with no care for anyone.

I would love for them to take another route and stay away from our place and to have the coordinaters of this fund raiser teach these bikers to heed the rules of the road.  Put them on the Rt 1, that is straight to the beach and away from the folks who like a nice peaceful day.  The outriders are rude too and are wanting you to get out of the road when youare driving down some where and they are on the wrong side of the road and think they can just run you off of it.

I hope you all do some thinking on your fund raisers and move it east away from the public.  There are plenty of places out in the open away from homes that you can put up your food/waste stations or check points.

Have a good day.

Newszap.com is excited to introduce a new approach to its public forums, emphasizing a new theme:

Free Speech (with Civility)

We believe that the public forum gives everyone a chance to express their opinions on local issues. If citizens disagree, we expect them to disagree without being disagreeable.

We hope individuals will speak to issues and not engage in personal attacks or “bullying” of other members. If the latter occurs and a complaint is sent to webmaster@newszap.com, members may have their registrations immediately withdrawn and be asked to seek out a different website to express themselves.

While this action might be considered drastic, we believe the step is necessary to preserve our “free speech with civility” mission, which is further described on our policies and disclaimers page.

Thanks for participating!
