Maybe you should try to drive an 18 wheeler down that street

| Do you think part of it is that people are just used to certain behaviors in their area? I was in Philly, and one thing that I notice happens every time is that the vehicles (especially taxis, but all people, generally) do a rolling start at a traffic light. They time their cars to start moving forward NOT at the time it changes green, but so they are moving forward WHEN it changes green....and you get beeped at if you are not moving .0000005 seconds after it changes.

I agree, a month or so ago, my neice was driving towards Milford on 15 and she was run off the road by a passing truck into a corn-feild. Thank God she just dropped her daughter off to me befor this happened. BUT, the truck driver was going so fast, that when he went to get back into the lane he miss-calculated and overturned his truck full of chemicals . Hope he was alright, but he deserved to have his CDL`s revoked.

It always cracks me up when someone says DE is full of bad drivers, like this is the only place. I've driven all over this country and DE is by far not the worst, but it's not good either. What major city are you from where everyone drives so well? The reality is drivers all over are becoming less considerate, go way to fast, try to multitask while driving, and so on. DE is not the only place this happens. In my opinion, and for what it's worth, Florida has he highest percentage of bad drivers.

The racing to red lights...in a hurry to do what? go where?
The tailgating...guess what, I'm calling in your tag! Especially when you dangerously whip around me while I'm traveling AT THE SPEED LIMIT!!
The inattentiveness...WOW
The failure to judge rate of speed of approaching traffic...I'm doing 50 in a 50 less than 50 yards away from you, and you're pulling out from a dead stop. WOW...
Sitting in a passing lane refusing to pass and get over...WOW. Some states ticket for such passive aggression...

That is so true!I've had a few close calls with the ones who aren't paying attention or are in such a big hurry to get nowhere fast. Everytime someone speeds past me and then I meet up with them at the very next redlight, I just look at them and say ... you made it to the redlight FIRST! YAY you! Then my kids remind me, Mom, they can't hear you. I almost got clipped on Sunday by some idiot who thought he needed to weave in and out of the traffic to speed around all the cars he could to, you guessed it, get to the redlight first!

| I appreciate your concern, but every dayam day as I travel the streets around Dover, you truly take your life in your own hands.. I nearly got into a head on collision on North street the other day by some young guy talking on his phone, not paying attention....How many times do you sit behind someone at a stop sign while they are dialing or fumbling for something on the seat? People look and act retarded on the streets around here... they just dont' pay attention to what they are doing...
