Explain "Big Oil" to me. Is that like Big drug company or Big food chain or Big retailer?
You need to lay off the kool-aid.

Dear 'hitman". Um, YOU are the radical. Calling Obama a terrorist? LOL! Will you please do your homework? Stop reading your hate mail. And stop listening to Fox news. Educate yourself instead. Please research outside the Red box. You put the "s" in scary. Your hateful kind is what made these last 8 years what they are now. Are you proud of that?
Furthermore Joe Biden is a fine man who has struggled in life with real life setbacks we can all relate to. Why is it that you need to criticize him? Is all you want is a vietnam hero to solve our domestic and world crises. You must know, that spending five years in a cell, can damage your ability to make the right decisions. Something has happened to that dear old man. And look at his VP pick. Is that who you want? Running this country? Get real. Please! Do your homework. Palin does not know what the hell she is talking about. Could it be, that she makes that small weenie of your get bigger?

Come on people pull your heads out of that cloud of dust. Then there he is Joe Biden :what a loser. Where you fron Joe. They talk about how long Mccain has been in office and done nothing well how about this man. Ill take a hero over a loser and radical any day.
Now that you have addressed your concerns so eloquently about the lack of virtue on the part of Barrack Obama and Joe Biden, what about Sarah Palin ?
Should John McCain get elected and GOD forbid die in office do you really think Sarah Palin is qualified for the oval office ?
As another member already stated just because someone is a hero, shouldn't be the only reason anyone should vote for him.

I guess I missed the vote count Fred. Must have been those early Ohio ACORN voters who did it.

Another example: The Ronald Reagan from when he first got elected to the Ronald Reagan when he left office were two different examples. He had lost more than a few miles on his fastball...part of that is the toll of the office, but part of it I am convinced was his age. Some older people are as sharp and as in control of themselves as when they were younger, and maybe even more so. The problem with McCain is he is looking more and more like that old man on the corner who comes out and shakes his fist when your baseball lands on his lawn....
Reagan had alzheimers disease. The loss of his 'fastball" as you put it, had nothing to do with age. My uncle is almost 90 years old and talking to him at 90 is not any different than when I had discussions with him when I was a teenager. He is still just as quick thinking and articulate as he was when he was in his early 50's. And, incredible as it may seem, Reagan remained as kind and thoughtful after being stricken with alzheimers as he was before. Alzheimers is not just an age related disease. It can be genetic and most certainly can be related to lifestyle with regard to diet/nutrition. Had Reagan not been afflicted by this disease, he would have been much more effective in the later part of his last term.

| John McCain is what makes a hero. Obama is what makes our country vulnerable to another terroristic attack, considering he's great friends with so many of them. Wake up people.

| Not sure if I want to be on my knees, but they deserve our thanks and respect for what they did. Not sure it means they have a right to be President, though.

In answer to WHAT MAKES A HERO in Wednesdays State. John McCain and every man and woman who has stood the line and faced the enemy to preserve the freedoms of this country are now and have been HEROS. You should be on your knees thanking God for all of them. They are the ones who have protected you so you can make ask such question.

PTG is full of it. If you are interested in what I had to say look on the Delaware Public Issues Forum. As for service to your country, take a look at what PTG has said about Kerry.

| This is to the person who wrote in that John Mccain is not a hero just because he is was a prisoneer of war. How can you have the nerve to say the things you did about how he was dumb enough to get caught. Let me tell you something that man along with every other military person is an american hero as soon as they put on that uniform . You say he never dove on a bomb to save a life. No your right he was just beat up on day after day because he wouldnt sell his country out. That my friend is a hero and someone that can be trusted.
