Move to New Street. I drove through today and saw three houses for rent. One of them was across from some nice looking people sitting on the porch enjoying some beverages. I dont think they have a rowdy college kid problem over there.
In all seriousness if you want to get them to go somewhere else and party, just start making their lives hell. Start Snitchin. Call the cops anytime you see them screwing in a car or drinking in public or doing any other non sense and exaggerate the problem. Two college students screwing in a car might look like a rape in progress to you. Be creative. There are many things you can do that will teach them a lesson.

I have drafted and deleted several replies to the original post. I have not been able to come up with a kind way to say this. Wesley College is not a good neighbor. They have not been a good neighbor for the last several years that I have lived in Dover. I have met with and heard administrative types express disdain and contempt for the community. Perhaps the new President will change things over time, but I am not holding my breath.
Last week, four armed robbers broke into an off-campus student rental house (a house that happens to be in violation of the City of Dover's student-rental policy). The city has been unable to enforce code on the house. The residents host large parties with access to drugs and alcohol provided to minors. The two suspects that have been captured are both Wesley College students. They were armed, masked, and looking for drugs (read News Journal article with quotes from the suspect). Two more suspects remain at large at this time.
I have many, many rude questions to ask. It is not worth wasting any more of my time.

Well, a good place to start is end the practice of allowing single family homes to be converted into apartments. As much as I despise telling someone what to do with their property, apartment living within walking distance of a college always begets noise and more littering than would otherwise occur. There seems to be a lot of those near Wesley.
Not so sure about anything else. Most college students get their first taste of independence thru higher education. And yes, some downright stupid stuff occurs in college dormitories. But, most are there to legitimately learn and do not bust up things or regularly get drunk.
BTW, with Wesley's west border being a less attractive part of Dover, is it possible that the mayhem makers were not collegians?

| I've lived in the City of Dover for most of my adult life and witnessed the interaction and effects of Wesley College on our community. First, let me say, the college staff and it's administration have been a valuable asset to our city. Wesley is a wonderfully historic institution. This year, however, we've seen an up-tick in a lack of caring and concern for local residents and their property by students and their associates in and around the Wesley College campus. Two or three nights a week, we've been awakened at 2 or 3 and as late as 4 a.m. by college revelers who like to party and show complete lack of regard for their neighbors. As an example, beer bottles, cans and trash thrown on lawns, neighbor's property and trashing the rental properties of landlords next to and near the campus. What purpose this serves, I am at a loss to explain. I know, "kids will be kids". This, however, has gone beyond what's reasonable. Sunday mornings, trash cans turned over in the alleys from one end to the other. Other times, plants and bushes uprooted, property stolen (including 45 pound concrete flower boxes). Drunken students vomiting on the sidewalk, urinating in the alleys and on lawns at night. Students having sex in parking spaces in the alley. Though there are many fine, and conscientious students attending Wesley, the neighborhoon, unfortunately, forms it's opinion of Wesley students from the actions of these. My wife and I have emailed property owners, called the police and spoken to tenants about their actions repeatedly. I, for one, am tired of it. It's become a public nuisance. I'm calling on the city to assist us in cleaning up the neighborhood and helping Wesley students be better neighbors.
