Thank you for your feedback. The economy may suffer but quality never will.

Thanks for that suggestion Mountainmudd. Sometimes we forget that there are locally owned businesses that keep the money in the Milford area.
When it's time for coffee or a moca roca, we head to Mountain Mudd. I must say that you guys make a great cup of coffee!!

That's a very good idea. Besides stores and restaurants, don't forget about those providing services: builders, handymen, professionals, landscapers, etc. As discussed in another thread, the city of Milford spent $1.2 million on the city hall and it all went to companies out of the Wilmington and Philadelphia area. What goes around comes around: if you want people and companies to patronize your business and pay the property taxes which support the city services, then make sure your money goes around to all your neighbors.

Once again the big news is the failing economy and how it affects small businesses and families. Please when ever you can, support the locally owned businesses here in town. Small shops and restaurants do not have the big financial backing that the major corporations have to fall back on. I have talked to other businesses in the area and we are all feeling the pain. Times are tough so if you are planning on making purchases, choose those stores that help the local families first.
