I read something in Sound Off a week or two ago where one of Jack Peterman's relatives called to say how nice he was and that he is so respectful, and how he doesn't have a bad word about anyone. Baloney!
I got a flyer in the mail from him about Bob Walls and it's NOT nice. In fact, it's childish. If it were true, I might even be able to tolerate it, but it's just immature mudslinging. Jack's letter in the paper about Mr. Walls should have been in the comics section.
Everytime Jack opens his mouth he is just helps Bob Walls win more votes.

Out of curiosity, how long have you known Jack to make this statement? Can you please elaborate?
For the record, I don't live in his district.
At a recent "open house" he held, he claimed that HE is responsible for the Veterans Home being in Milford, and that HE is responsible for General Foods being in Dover, and that HE is responsible for the Air Base being in Dover........(need more?)
I don't believe any of it. Anybody that wonderful should be in the Bible.

| In answer to your question, I have known Jack for at least 32 years. And, he did used to be a nice guy back then, but politics seemed to change him a lot. To be completely honest, I caught him in a lie, and I don't trust him. I'm voting for Bob Walls. So far, he hasn't lied to me.

| Is this the Jack Peterman that graduated from MHS around 1962? If so he was a nice person back then.

Actually, Jack Peterman is a very decent guy. I've known him and his family my entire life. A lot of these local politicians get addresses of people who want a sign in their yard and they put them out them selves. It's very possible that he got an address mixed up.
Maybe someday I will think he is a wonderful as he thinks he is, but I doubt it.

| I remember reading in the paper how Jack Peterman claimed that somebody stole his signs the last time he ran for election. Who would want them? I think he just whines so he can get his name in the paper and try to get people to feel sorry for him. I don't. He put a sign in my yard and didn't even ask me. Maybe someday I will think he is a wonderful as he thinks he is, but I doubt it.

| Probably just a bunch of kids playing around. They also picked up a lot of Mr. Walls signs and put all of them in one ladie's yard. Arrest the kids that did it, if you can, but quit implying that Mr. Walls sent people out to do it for him. He has much more integrity than that. (And by the way, Mr. Walls is the best candidate in the race for the 33rd district!) Last edited on Tue Oct 14th, 2008 02:14 am by Bud Of KTC

| It seems very odd that Republican Jack Peterman's political signs were removed from people's yards in Woodshaven in Milford just in time for the annual Woodshaven yards sale on October 4th. His opponent's signs were conveniently placed through out the development for everyone to see. Many people visited this development and missed out on advertising for the best candidate for the 33rd district. Someone was very busy removing signs that were paid for by Mr. Peterman and his supporters. My thoughts are that when you take something that doesn't belong to you, it is considered stealing!
