How thin does the Chronicle have to get before it is considered a flyer?

| I agree with you Milfordian - should have been another thread. I was thinking of you when I got the State News yesterday to see what coverage was on the front page regarding photos, etc.. regarding Milford's historical State Football Championship. I imagine the front page today has a huge headline and photos of the C.R. victory. Maybe we'll get that in this weeks Chronicle.

It's news about the Milford Community and people who were on scene are the ones who are suggesting that it was the cause of the accident. I was only trying to get it verified .
Nothing trashy , but helpful for many others who have the condition. They can have normal lives as long as they take care of their self and have check ups if diabetes is in the family tree.
I am truly sorry you have taken it the wrong way. I lost my grandmother 60 , Mother 70 who had it 40 years and my sister 33 found out she had it a 6 .

The rumor is he had a diabetic problem , is this true ?
1) How exactly would this fit into this thread?
2) Why would you post a "rumor" about someones medical condition? I think that is out of line and trashy. Of course that's just my opinion.

Well it just said a medical condition. That's code for "They will quietly smooth it over and no one will be the wiser. So don't worry and be happy", nobody was killed.

| Milfordian, thats o.k. - I was commenting of the passion in your statement. For the record, you're absolutely right -small town newspapers need to focus on all the community events - people want to see grandchildren and kids and neighbors and etc.. being involved within the community. Good post!

| I like how we get it for free, but not in a plastic wrapper so when it rains it's worthless.

| OK I conceed, there were 3 of the Parade, I thought the one of the King family was of them watching. The other 2 were of viewers. But they were small pictures on the back page, like it was an afterthought.

I'd bet you'd be wrong, I haven't bought one in years. My dad gets it and passes it on.

Let's see if someone from the Chronicle has a response......
The Milford Community Parade is one of the biggest community events we have in Milford, residents have been going to it as long as they have lived here. If you talk to lif long residents a good part of them have marched in the parade for something whether is was Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, School or Band, it is more a part of this community then any other event through the year.
Do you realize that, on Thursday, all over Milford kids were running to get the Chronicle to see if a picture of their float made it into the paper and guess what...
And you have 2 pictures, that's it, 2 freakin pictures of the entire parade. Are you scared someone who doesn't like the parade won't buy your rag? Do you care that little of the residents of the town you are supposed to represent?
Back in the day the paper would dedicate full pages of pictures. that's what a community paper is about, get pics of the kids in the paper on their floats, in their costumes. But you are more concerned with what's happening at Sunnybrea Mansion that what real people are doing. I think we all know who's paying to keep this paper up and running.
