Dana Fuchs also played a Joplin-like character in the movie " Across the Universe". She belted out quite a few Beatles songs in that one.

| She starred in the off Broadway production called "Love, Janis" some years ago. Many people compare her voice to Janis'.......although I have to personally say there was only one Janis Joplin and there will never be another.
