There's no way of knowing this because it has never happened. The stalker is getting stalked, yea, that'll work....

Yes it has been tried and it doesn't work, blues was banned in March 09 and the same moron still continues to post crap about him.  Look at the results you and others won't post in the Milford forum because of the nonsense and you stated so in a post.  Yep do nothing and  let this person take over the Milford forum and destroy it that makes sense.

Yet you call him a puke in 4 different topics. So we are to ignore him but you get to play school boy and call him names? That's not fair, I'm telling the teacher.

So now they are going to have to do all of it for even less money.

The state employees who will be affected by reductions in wages and other measures need to report those who refuse to work to Jack Markell.   Maybe if enough of the non-productive employees were terminated, there would be sufficient money available to pay those who remain.

Obviously you are not a state employee.

I even know a few that shouldn't have a cut in pay or laid off but should be fired because they are lazy and they have other employees doing their job for them. They are still getting a pay check and the others who are doing all of the work are not making any more for the extra that they are doing now. So now they are going to have to do all of it for even less money.

However this is going to even affect those of us who are not employees of the state. There are the state police that are going to be hit by this and that is were they are really making a mistake. When you can't get an officer to come to our aid that is when you (not being a state employee) will be effected.

You can bet Markell will not be elected again even by the Democrats!

I hope he reads all of this.:X

Well, of the dozen or so State employees I know, everyone of them would have taken a pay cut over losing their job anyday!

I am willing to bet if you polled the rest of them, 100% of them would say yes governor I would rather have a pay cut than lose my job!

As far as laying him off in the next election, He should have never been voted in in the first place.

With the events of the nation today and the ecomony the way it is, State employees should be grateful they only had pay cuts and not job cuts!

Quit complaining and focus on the positive; the fact that unlike many Delawarean's they still have jobs!

Exactly................. people moved here like myself for  no sales tax and all the other positives and now people want to make it as bad as where they moved from.

Yes, indeed --- like a proliferation of state-owned golf courses.   But the legislature conveniently defends its position with the old "It was done to prevent development" nonsense.   Maybe the Maple Dale folks should be making contact with the legislators in the area.

Sales tax?  Are U nuts?  When you give extra money to a government, they only spend it on stuff you don't like and then raise the tax to get more!  Look at your history, in states that started with 'small' sales taxes and then they just kept raising it again and again.

When you give more money to a government, it's like giving money to a drug addict.  Instead of spending it on things they *should* spend it on, they spend it on more drugs and come back for more money.  That's what the State would do too - buy more things they don't have to have and then say we need a bigger sales tax.

Don't fall for that sales tax rhetoric.

My point exactly!  As a former Delawarean its time to wake up and start a sales tax.  Its better than loosing good employees, 8% pay cuts, and Markell can have a few programs and sell the golf courses (why does Delaware need to own 3 golf courses any way?).

Gambling is not the place to increase revenue.  A sales tax will not hurt business nor will visitors stay away.  That is a myth!  Did people stop going to restaurant when the no smoking law was enacted. NO!

There are only six states that do not charge a sales tax including: Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Montana, New Hampshire and Oregon. That leaves 88% of U.S. states that do charge a sales tax and they haven't gone out of business yet do to lack of tourism.

NO SALES TAX!, NO SALES TAX! NO SALES TAX!, NO SALES TAX!

There is a reason that  tourist come to our state to spend their hard earned money because we do not have a sales tax. Their spending generates revenue for our businesses and then we pay  taxes  to our state government by means of payroll taxes, fees, and permits. Delaware also receives revenue by tolls and fuel taxes directly. Since our economy is down, we do not have extra money to spend so therefor the government is not receiving the revenue. If we raise taxes, we have less to pay bills and make purchases. It it an endless cycle and our Governor needs to understand that tax increases are the problem, not the solution. Allow people to keep more of their hard earned money so that we may make the necessary purchases that we need for our families.
Have you forgotten Jack's campaign wish list of government run health care?
Do you really think that he is not trying to achieve that goal by taking from the working class to give to the sitting on their @$$ class.

A recent article in the NY Times recommends that policy makers nationwide should restructure schools and modify state retirement policies so that thousands of the best veteran teachers can stay on in the classroom to mentor the 1 in 3 rookie teachers who leave within 5 years. In Delaware, however, it looks like old Jack is constructing a reduction in teacher salaries which could influence many teachers ready for retirement to go ahead and get out now. Maybe that's part of the plan? Jack's magnificent proposal surely bodes well in keeping our best teachers and also gives new college graduates a lot of incentive to come on board in Delaware, knowing they are already subject to a decrease in pay. They would be better off working as a waitress/waiter in Rehoboth! Eduation is gonna lose! Nobody obviously gives a hoot either. If the state reduces the teacher salary and other state employees, then every other employee (local government, Univ. of Del. and other institutions, etc.) who receives state money that goes for salaries, should also pay the price. It's our  taxpayer money and the proposal should be equitable among all those who receive it. What's the difference? It's time someone found the legality in all of this. The only equitable and fair way to raise money in Delaware is to start the inevitable, state sales tax. No good reason not to. The folks from Pa., NJ. NY, suburban Md., and DC. have been living the dream for the last ten years while raping our natural resources, increasing the cost of living and reducing the quality of life in Delaware. Time to start paying back baby!State legislators like Colin Bonini say a state sales tax will hurt the economy. Hogwash! It's gonna happen. Do it now.

Wiseman.
Do you realize how much work a teacher does off the clock not to mention the cost of supplies that they spend because the state does not? Obviously you do not know any teachers personally to base your opinions, please refrain from contradicting your posting name.
