i asked the fire marshall about water and his response was..he has no control over water leaking into overheard wires.
i can name several othrs in government ,but, they all gave excuses why they are not responsible to protect the public.
so, its the blog for discussion

i know for fact the state fire marshall will not do anything
i know for fact our local politicians will not do anything about it
i kw for fact because i asked them the question to protect the public.
hope someone else who blogs can get walmat to correct all the store water leaks
So you never thought of the lights exploding, but you know for a fact that no one will do anything because you asked them? When did you ask them? What did they say when you asked them about exploding lights.
I'm pretty sure this couldn't happen. If there was a chance the fire marshall wouldn't give then occupancy.
But it has to be true cause it gives everyone a chance to accuse and crap on others.
This place is unbelievable sometimes

| I do know for a fact that it is very dangerous with water leaking into the ballast's in the overhead fluorescent light fixtures. I've seen them explode blowing the fluorescent tube bulb into a million pieces flying everywhere and the light lens off the fixtures with sparks flying everywhere. It's not safe or something you'd want to be close too. After all the ballast's are a electrical transformer. Last edited on Sat Apr 18th, 2009 09:45 am by log out

if its dangerous if the wires get soaked? .
if you slip is the store responsible??
who in milford has to get hurt from slipping on wet floors if it becomes negligence//
I is there a safety commission in delaware??
I'm not an electrician but from what I do know the wires are coated/insulated with plastic or rubber in many instances they are double insulated and grounded. Welders can and do weld in standing water without getting electrocuted.
I would be more concerned that the leaks are a precursor to serious damage in high winds or the area where the leak is opening up more in the roof panels. There has been a series of this design building sustaining serious roof integrity damage in heavy snow/ice, heavy rain/high wind conditions across the USA.

the real question is..will the 100 buckets in walmart every time it rains affect the value of your home.
will anyone want to live in milford if the stores reflect the care the community has??
also, is it safe if electricty wires get hit with water. will it create a problem?
if so, i will only shop on dry days

if it rains and your roof leaks and puddles are on the floor, is it a danger that the electrical wiring can cause a fire?
any fire folks or elecrictians out there?
reason i ask, in milford , a local retailer has about 100 buckets in their store on the floor filling with water.
is it safe? if so, great. if it is a danger, what can be done to correct??
