I love the way the school parks the floats out front for the following week.  They never did that when I was there, but last year I had to go past the HS every day on my way to Wilmington and I really enjoyed seeing them.   Nice way to give the classes some more recognition.  I think working on the floats was one of my most favorite times in HS.

Float building is one of my favorite memories from my high school days...   It was amazing how we could get those masterpieces done in just two weeks with only being able to work on them after school hours!    Fond memories from the Class of 1990!!

I was not able to attend the parade and other festivities because my high schooler was home sick with a 102 degree temperature but I enjoy seeing the floats on display in front of the high school.  They are all great.  The kids put a lot into making their respective masterpieces.

I attend the parade every year with my kids.....it's GREAT!!!   I love to watch the floats and the spirit is awesome.  My kids love it and can't wait to get in high school to be able to work on the floats.   I will keep attending the parade every year.  Good Work!!!!

You are right.  It was packed.  We had a great time and saw a lot of old classmates.  The parade was great too.  The high school students did a great job on their floats.

The Eagles won the game vs. Polytech and I believe the sophomore class won 1st place for the float!   It was packed at SHS tonight!  Great time seeing old classmates once again!
