And where do you get this information? Supporting Gene Mullen over the Faux King Mayor doesn't exactly make me an ally. However, I definitely support mayor Pat. Gene and others on the council have treated her shamelessly. How ironic is it that both Pressley and Mullen actively worked to do away with the mayor position.....now they are running for it.........
Bill Pressley is a nice enough guy, and in his own way has worked well for the townspeople......however I don't think he is mayor material. Now, he has given up his seat, and when Pat gets elected, he won't have any say on council. And, by the way, we know who is behind Bill......the Faux King Mayor himself. He has been calling people and telling lies about Pat, and Bill, why do you need to text the Faux King mayor during council meetings?

Apparently the likes of Hotflash, BS and Someone has not been to council meetings, committee meetings or read Pat’s posts on this Blog or in the papers. She is a nice enough person, but not a leader. Her decision making, petty bickering and constantly blaming others for the town problems, shows that she is not Mayor Material. She had her chance and proved that she does not have what it takes. She had the position for (2) years and the town has not moved forward. I believe we might have even looked worse, with the constant open, public bickering. No different than when MS was mayor. What makes it worse; they were supposed to be allies. The means that it is a personality issue, not substance.
Give someone else a chance. It cannot get worse.

Look at your choices for mayor-Mullen who is bitter/revengeful and wants to spend and Pressley fueled by MSchaeffer. It is just a shame that we elect people to do our bidding on council and they are influenced by MS and his devious ways. That is why things have been the way they are. Give Stombaugh a chance.

I don't know if this is what the original poster was referring or not. It certainly made the rounds. I too have forwarded thousands of emails that were sent to me by unknown people that contained questionable content. I especially liked the one with the cow and dolphin.

I think there was an email being circulated throughout the Internet before the election concerning the possible election of Barrack Obama. Along with his picture was this message.
"I ain't worried, I haven't seen a black man hold a job for four years yet."

| Bill Pressley is an upstanding guy, and haven't we all send around some emails that we haven't actually been proud of at one time or another. You have to admit, some of them are just too funny not to share with others.

I agree Oldguy. Looks like someone trying to stir up a little something. This person has to be someone close to the mayor to have seen her emails.
