Smyrna has its share of troubles. I used to live and work in the area. I still have family that way. If you want to change things in your town believe me there are many things that should rise way above baseball. There are many things that Smyrnites can also be proud of: There are a few schools that scored a superior rating from the state, the wrestling program is among the best in the region, girls softball is thriving, the list really does go on and on...

If you have to ask, you couldn't buy a clue. Go talk with the teachers who gave you "A"'s in English.
I'm not sure who said you used foul language, my comments don't address that.

No "someone", he is responding to me with some useless information about how "overworked and underpaid" the education system is. Its a little hard in this town to volunteer for teaching a course like math or science etc... So I really dont know how you could volunteer to be a "teacher". Unless you are thinking just anybody could do their job without qualifications ? Ifso then you are opening up a WHOLE new can of fun.

| Actually they are not off there are trainings and other things that need to be completed during the summer...So you need to get all your facts straight and as for the hour that you need to make an opinion does that mean your willing to volunteer... I look forward to seeing you.

| I saw where Smyrna didn't fair to well on the Blue/Gold teams. I know they ended up with a young team, must of had some or least one senior.

| Do you work in a school? Have you ever step foot in one other than when you went? Or are you one of those parents that say my child does no wrong it is the teachers fault? Well being a parent and part of the education team, teachers are overworked and underpaid as far as I'm concerned.... You really need to go volunteer or sit in a school for a whole day and than you can make a comment...... I bet you won't make it an hour.

I suppose I am an idiot, being that I finished highschool with a mid 3 gpa and finished my first year at WVU with a 3.3.
Please tell me, what college did you play ball for, and what exactly is your name? I would love to look that up.
Thank you very much BillieHoliday. It's nice to know that some people know what's right, as well as what's wrong.

Your choice of words in this blog are cowardess, and you should not take other peoples opinions about other people personally, unless they are your family. From the first bolg you posted here you have displayed your nasty attitude about subjects which then you created a world full have nasty remarks about all of the other bloggers, and at the same time ridiculed them as you have claimed they have ridiculed your coaches, so whos the hypocrite, as you suggested on May 25 th bolg.
If you are worthy of college, which could be challenged due to your vocabulary, I hope they are able to teach you some values of life.
And FYI, which again means nothing to me what you think, I excelled in baseball throughout college. If you are trying to upset people with your name calling, I must tell you you are doing the oposite, we are really all laughing at your posts. I hope they are intended to be funny.
NO, not all of us are laughing at his post. Some of us are ashamed of you people that are attacking kids for protecting their High School Team and Coaches.

| I'm pretty sure you don't know me; so you really can't say I don't have class. You on the otherhand, are one of the crybaby cowards on this site. I don't have to know you to say that. You're hiding behind your computer making judgements about other people that are not true. So please, cry more. It really shows the pride that this town has.

That's really funny. Should we have a meeting with Cole so he can tell you why I quit? Oops, that can't happen because you're a puss and won't say anything to anyone's face. But i'm pretty sure I wasn't taken out because someone was better. And i'm definitely not sucking up to the coaches.
Could the reason your s**t talking be because you were once horrible at baseball and didn't make the highschool team? Because I'm pretty sure that's it. Or because you have a child that sucks, or maybe were on the team and sucked dick at baseball?
So in closing, I hope you have a great day knowing that you're a complete idiot that must resort to talking s**t on blogs.
Goodbye Puss.

| ummm, Didnt like the coach ? Was'nt happy with playing time ? Got his position taken by someone better even though he was a veteran ? Or just had a bad attitude because he got yanked ? If you were SUCH A TEAM PLAYER, and a coaches advocate then that stuff would not have mattered. I think you're just regreting your actions for quiting and back sucking to your coaches because you actually let them down.

well if you actually knew who I was, you would have known the reason why I quit. I obviously don't suck if I started varsity since my sophomore year.
So yea, if you're an idiot who thinks they know what their talking about when they really don't; raise your hand!

| Raise your hand if you're the parent of a kid that sucks at baseball and sat the bench on the highschool team, and are now complaining about it on this blog!

My God, kid, quit while you are behind. It's painful to watch you digging a deeper hole with your great 'grammer' and punctuation and then sealing the package with the claim of getting "A's" in English. Debbie Wicks and your teachers have to be hiding under the couch by now.....

Ms. Debbie Wicks - are you paying attention? Your school district and the high school and its faculty in particular should be very proud of at least this one graduate! He deserves an award. I have no doubt that he received a scholarship to some great college.

Perhaps you are not smart enough to get the message at face value.
Hows that for another mature and responsible post ???
You also should stick to the program instead of throwing mud that has nothing to do with the issues. I guess you're another that needs to know who the posters are so you can "TRY" to intimidate them. Things like that dont bother me because people like that are usually the thugs that posters write about. Its quite comical.

Now, this is a blog intended for peoples views and opinios on subjects in the community. Its is intended to be anonymous for a reason. That reason being not to upset people but to give their opinions and also to insure that they do not come in contact with hotheads like yourself so they will not feel safe. No one is attacking you personally unless you instigate it and they feel they need to defend themselves.
It would be better if you just stick to the issues, give your opinions in a mature responsible way.

academic problems? My graduating year i believe other than drop outs, we had 2 kids that had to go to summer school to get their diplomas, every year i was in high school we did great academically so idk what thats about.... and as far as me and billy needing to find something else to do.... like billy said, its summertime, we live in smyrna, there isnt much to do. i could go out and play baseball with all my friends but i'de probably hear on here about how we dont have a structured pick up game and we arent serious enough or have any discipline....
i also have a ? for someone.
How do you know me?
