Maybe you should go to the Chesweld post office instead. They are much nicer people working there so you won't mind price increases. The process does seem self-defeating because each time the price goes up we look for other ways to cut those costs. When it approaches half a buck to send a bill in , you look at on-line payments. The postal service is faced with the same cost increases you and I are but that doesn't make their dilemna our problem. We all have to adjust as best we can to do more with less....

Beginning May 11, 2009 postal rates will increase.
Postage stamps will be 44 cents.
