A lot of stone throwing here at the Chief of Police
I 've been around and in the town for years I could throw a few my self and not at the Chief .
But my glass house may get a few broken panes as well.

| I believe it becomes the business of all residents/tax payers of this town when a department head conducts themself in a manner that is inconsistent with common moral and ethical behavior. The things he does while "on duty" concerning her should come under close inspection by the town council. If the AGs office, by technicality, finds no criminal behavior in what he is alleged to have done, it does not excuse the town council from employing someone who holds his position of authority who does not represent their "ethical conduct" standards. Oh! Pardon me, I guess they have none. Certainly his "off duty" conduct is his own business and that of his wife and family to the extent that he does not bring the town or the police department into disrepute. But anyone who believes the town council will hold him responsible for his conduct, or any other town employee responsible for theirs, is fooling himself.  so none of you know the story between the two, but is it your business? lets take a look at this town... everyone i know is up to something. everyone is hiding one thing or another. no one is innocent around here; believe you me. no, i'm not here to blow anyone out the water but if you've grown up, worked, socialized, and had an ear for gossip; you'll learn a lot! facts and lies, you begin to weed through and you'll get the stories. Chief is a good hearted guy helpin people but he takes advantage of Shelly's vulnerability... and there is no excuse for his waving over the complaints and busts of shelly. She'd be locked up if it weren't for him! As for Shelly, she plays a victim role every time trouble gets near her. why no one sees it i don't know but if you've ever known her for a good enough amount of time, you'd find she takes no responsibility for her own actions and is considered a child in my book! Both need to get the hell out of Smyrna and find somewhere else for their drama!

| Let's see...... In need means people who are less fortunate. Example at Christmas time he gave out a bunch of Acme, and Walmart gift cards so that the children of Smyrna could eat and have something to open up at Christmas. As for the Shelly comments he was helping someone who needed help...and Shelly needs help.

| Santa. alot of us read your original defamous post about the chief. you changed it so you wouldnt be liable but the topic name is defamatory - and if it is untrue - could get you sued. i know you think the chief cant sue but i bet that he is out of the realm of being a political figure. he is appointed and not elected.
