Nope sorry don't know who it is . But looks like Yun likes to fight and hide behind his computer. So when I jumped in looks like I am with The Tramp but I'm not.

You got me! I'm really from Montana, but I've been posing as a Smyrna resident on this forum since 2005.

I guess the TRAMP pulled the trigger to fast, according to the Smyrna-Clayton Sun times it reads:

Officer resignation

Chief Brian Hill read a letter of resignation
from Patrolman Jason Bauer announcing that he will be ending his two and a half years at the Clayton Police Department and moving to the Middletown Police Department. Bauer’s two weeks’ notice began on Monday. "

So you only posted it to rile people up. You did better with your homophobic anti gay marriage let's kill anyone who isn't like us rhetoric.

Okay I am a member of Town Council of Clayton and I can assure you that the Chief has not been asked nor has he resigned.  As of 8 June I was also appointed as the Committe Chairman of the Public Safety Committee and assure you there is no intention to bring any disciplinary actions against the Chief.

The new Police Committee meets with the Chief tonight to go over budget issues and only budget issues.

There are always rumors being made about, not only the Chief, but other personnel that are employed by the town, but no one ever seems to be able to back up those comments with hard copy.

As a member of council I am there for the people of the town and will look into any concerns, but they must valid concerns that can be proven and not just some email rumors.  Sure there may be a few issues that we will be addressing with the Police but most are bugetary concerns right now along with a few infractions that may need looking into by the Committee but nothing that requires disciplinary action.

You will see changes in the near future, but only changes for the better.  Shoot I am one who feels the police need to run radar in our town, after all where I live you can see people going thru town at excessive speeds well above the 25mph.  I have seen a few officers that like to run thru town a little fast but that is also being corrected.  Other things are being worked on to not only make it safer for the citizens of the town but also improve the image of our Police, which I feel we have a good force just need a little tightening up.

Finally I assure you if the Chief or anyone else were to do something wrong under my watch as Vice Mayor and had proof or written complaints then I would immediately get with the Mayor and Council to implement an investigation.  That is not the case at present and I can assure you we all have skeltons in our closet that could be brought up and splattered all over the internet.

Hopefully those who see only negative in the Clayton Police Department will see positive things in the future and hopefully I will see those positive comments posted on this blog but I doubt it!

Bob McGinnis

Vice Mayor Town of Clayton

Lady with a Tramp wrote: No, what I posted my had not been a TRUE fact. But I did hear again today that it is true that Chief Hill lost his job with Clayton. He had a choice to be fired or resign. And was also said he is on patrol for Smyrna Police as a patrolman. I do not know if it is true that he is with Smyrna. It is a shame that we can't even trust the ones who Swore on a bible to serve and protect. The person from the fire house said it will all be in the Sun-Times this Wednesday. I will not post what happened  because if it is a little off it could be a Schaeffer and Cahill case all over again. It will be in the paper and WBOC TV 16

And here everybody beens focused on Smyrna Chief Baldwin.

Hartlyboy it appears as though that conventional maternal advice was rejected.

So, you took your Mother's advice about not saying anything if you didn't have something nice to say?
