Trash talk in the name of forum
But I believe town will go through the applications they already have.
I under stand that it has always been the police chief of the town who hires then they bring the names to council , It would be a better change for the council it's self go through and decide instead of letting the police chief butter the council popcorn and tasting it first.
I would hope this council will learn from the past not hire , just because the present chief of police said he or she is ok .
This is why if the town continues to maintain they need a police department then they should be wise enough to look into the hire es past

| Helen --- I was under the impression that you had the exclusive franchise right for solar clother dryers in cheswold. If other people are involved in their proliferation, you should file a awsuit against the town. Everybody else is doing it!!!!

| Ummm - does anybody know Anthinea Lindale - 20 - of Cheswold? He is evidently a sex offender who was working at state fair and got arrested because he is not aloud to be around young people. What is up with that?

| Oh, Helen -- nothing is free except perhaps the services of the fire company. If your property is among those annexed, you will pay dearly, through property taxes, for exactly nothing!

yea I was getting free entertainment for a while , The only free thing was the use of the fire hall for community base events .
The community helping provide the refreshments.
Thank goodness for Cheswold Fire Hall and their support to help the community.

Even that trash collection Cheswold gets the town of Dovers price we can get the same by taking it to Townsend for 3 x less
Helen, there is no reason for you to get your blood pressure elevated -- just study the candidates for the town election and decide for whom you wish to vote. Those are the people who will establish the town property tax rate applicable to every property within the town limits. Pay less for nothing?? Come, now -- you know that your friends over there provide many valuable services to town residents.

| With the new railroad passenger station to be built there, there should be more than enough business to keep the bar& grill and the hotel busy. Plus the chariots that locals will pull through the streets taking train passengers on a scenic tour.

I hear there a grant for a police helicopter and landing pad that's being applied for by the powers that be.

| now Helen - you know that mayor tinari has assembled a crack ploice farce in the town. that have no need for state police intervention. In fact, the state police sometimes relys on that superior chesweld farce for their highly trained and honed occifers to assist and guide state plooce.

Family Feuds are not handled in Cheswold, so contact the State Police .
But this causes problems to , cause the State police send you back to Cheswold , then there is a refusal from Cheswold and you are running in circles.

Acorns involved in small town election
Free Jim Beam and Jack Daniels was given in exchange for votes
There was only one candidate who toke the time to go door to door for election
There are gang members standing at the town hall doors refusing to let voters in or intimidating them .
Police refuse to stop the madness !
These two refused to leave the area

Guess who ?????????
National Guards men were called in to control the mayhem and then the the gangs brought in the big guns !

The police budget is being used to hire these two guys to get the snow flake killer, but in the mean while don't any one spin their front wheels in your rear wheel drive car while having your music on unless you are less then 20 feet away !

I hear that the Cheswold police are stopping any body now.
Seems they just arrested someone for leaving the scene of accident.
They were accused of hitting two snow flakes and not stopping and calling the proper authorities.
Now these are the same people who travel out of their jurisdiction to fine someone, but refused to arrest people in their own town ( FOX Point ) for receiving stolen property .

| Helen, I wish I had known of these signs you speak of a couple months ago, when a chance encounter I had with one of DE's finest along Rt 1 brought the state 60 dollars closer to solvency. But no complaints - I was guilty as charged.

heh heh heh
I was told all you had to do is get a petition of 250 names present it to Del-Dot along the an explanation of why it is necessary , agree to purchase the sign and keep the placement area clear of trash and add 3 miles of side walk and 4 street lights pe mile, , 4 benches a traffic light along with 2 round about to slow traffic in the area and a town park

They will be selling 2 can beer hats , cans of farts and whoopee cushions and cigars.

I guess I should have had my picture taken in Palm Springs last year or Seattle Washington and I would be famous too!
Do you think Greer's Ferry photo's will do?

But at last they are only road trips out of the state. Doesn't make me any better or worse the Joe the Plumber or even Joe Six Pack when I return home from any place out of state

| Helen - Mrs. Strimel doesn't care bout Cheswool any more - her and a friend had there pictures in the Dover Post newspaper holding up a copy of the paper in Cape Cod! Can you imagine being so - whatever - as to pack a copy of a newspaper to take with you on vacation to have your picture taken with it? I hope thay left it there to clutter the land there instead of here. I think a hi-rise trailer park addition would be a good thing for the town - more tax income!

TPT you know that Mrs. Strimel will only do whats best for her, oh I mean the town .
http://www.tinytears.cc/Scans/Trailer%20For%20Two.pdf
Just think the next big thing is, the comeback of the Teardrop camper. Why rent a hotel room in Dover when you can have all the comforts of home in Cheswold. Rent a space in the camper lot ( it does have camera security ) . The town could reap the rewards and it will bring jobs to the area .

And did you ask Mrs. Strimel about her input concerning that development being placed near her?
