Helen ---- This is a joke ---- isn't it??? The town considering fining people with homes in deplorable condition> Am I the only person to view the building with the "Town Hall" sign in front of it in the last couple of years? Most incorporated municipalities have regulations that would require that place to be immediately vacated and demolished!

| Helen --- I didn't hear the fire siren -- where is this fire?? Maybe I could go and help extinguish it -- or pour some gasoline on it.

Does any one know if this is true?
You need a permit in the town of Cheswold to mow your own grass with your own mower.
I've have heard that the town has been tring to make residents pay for repairing things like heaters in their houses and a few years back wanting someone to pay for permit for replacing siding that fell off during a storm.

While I was getting my weekly Pepsi at the local watering hole , minus bar room seems some d**n gnomes are roaming around the town speading rumors.
They've been hiding in the town hall and speading lies about some of the towns people. Claiming there are people holding the town back.
There has been back stabbing since the town began now rather to see that it's all of past that has brought the town to this point . I would stop blaiming others and look at thy self for the true reason the town has been put on hold of growning.

| Helen! Stop right now! You know very well that there can be no criminal activity under the keen watchful eyes of the crack cheswold police farce. It just would be eliminated before it could start.

I heard a rumor that Fox Point and Parker's Runn residents are seeking ways to get surveillance camera place in both developments that will be manned by the Cheswold police department.
I understand that there is a grant out there for small towns to apply for.
Not a bad ideal and maybe any new development or business coming to the town should have them too! You may not be able to stop the crime but better chance of catching the criminal.

Ok I don't know what the new inspector is doing ?
Last I heard he was just working on new buildings, but since there are not many new ones he should be spending time on the spin on the dime.
Then he could be in town hall doing computer research.
He must maintain his ability to drive the town's truck during the winter snow fall and the learn what to do when the leaves fall from the trees.
Then he could be making sure there is no graffiti in the town and around the park and all the buinesses are up to par
Then there is keeping the town square clean .
I hear there going to be posted notices for a town cleaning and the town will provide the dumsters to haul away the trash ( but that is just a rumor )
You know he has his hands full

Oh helen how is the new building inspector doing ?
Is he going through the town giving out fines ?
What about having the town resident to clean their yards?
I still see homes on the main streets and back that are in need of repair , some looking as if they are falling down , others that need to be torn down. Like the town hall building.
I think the county really screw up by giving towns like Cheswold , Smyrna and other permission to do their own inspections and then allow people to live and work in some of these building that should never be used in the begin with.
Get to work on that helen

Helen wasn't wrong, it was the laws of the town that were not followed.
