Helen do you realize how much money was spent on last nights vote ? I take it no one paid you any money to do the job you did .

People with one free throw Helen cost  the lawyers, engineers, banks and backers of the Big W at least 10,000 dollars and weeded out a problem in Kent County Levy Court. Why aren't you trying to get closer to the action , get a job for the County looks like they need some fresh eyes or with Big W's executive branch .

I see the sword you pulled out was sharp on both sides .

The County was red faced as well as all the people involved in the project for different reason of course.

The County : Embarrassed because of thier staff's failure to do their jobs correctly

The Developer : Because of time and money .

Good Job

The mayor was off getting the girls lunch . Helen drove up shortly after , was this a political meeting ?

There was no Royal Farms coffee in Helen's hand  as she departed the store . Cheswold police was making a traffic stop about this time. maybe making the money for the girl's lunch.

Just copy the last employment agreement and substitute the name of the new hire.    Maybe delete the St. Patrick's Day holiday provision, but most definitely leave in the Easter Holiday.    And, of course, increase the compensation for year one to account for inflationary pressures.

Helen, with a little careful planning, those worthy pursuits could be accomplished on one's days off and one's holidays. Something amply included with the referenced position, if my memory serves me correctly.

Oop!

Though I have the same experience for the job as the predecessor , I'm stuck in my mundane world of trying to get world peace , finding solution to global warming and making sure the house finds another speaker.

And then there is the oil change on my broom , so though the offer sound inviting I will have to decline.

I wish the town the best in finding someone  more  deserving of the such a desirable  position .

Helen, it would appear that some folks perception of winning is follow somebody around with their nose firmly inserted somewhere that most would not dare go. In lieu of that, I think the rest of us can tolerate the occasional dark cloud.

Helen I can't imagine why you think this.  The mayor can see only an annexation and the property tax dollars that will come in.  He does not think about the 6 more cops the town will need.   Or the additional police cars.   Or the holding cells the town will need.

No, Helen.   The crack cheswold pd will take care of all calls to the new walmart and adjoining properties.    They will have that responsibility, because the mayor wants to annex the property as soon as possible.   Maybe the town can negotiate with walmart to build a police office and jail cell in the new store,.

I am looking forward to see who bought the WAWA store , I would hope the State police would get a satellite station in this area between Dover and Smyrna  the County and State will need it to help cover the area once all plans are approved with the Wal-marts center rather if they get all their sites or not.

I heard 1/3 of Camden Police calls are to Wal-mart and the homes that are next to the store.

That hardly seems consistent with the notion that he was victimized by the Town in any way. But apparently few things in this case were.
