You are right tiki. Happiness does come from within. I was just thinking it might have been so miserable where he came from it would be hard to get used to happiness down this way with so much to be appreciated.

And CGC I definitely wasn't the only one to loose a person in WWII. There were over 400,000 US military causalities. I was just the only one to loose MY father.

I haven't noticed anyone on this site lately that seems to be so "needy" as poor old CGC. For someone who says they have so much, CGC obviously has nothing. Ironic that he was able to escape from "somewhere" and land where he is now living the wonderful life he claims to have. It must have been pretty awful where he was before. He tells us he knows who he father was.....I don't know what that has to do with the postings on this site but I will say I knew who my father was also. When CGC drives through the beautiful town of LaBelle on his way to the VA clinic I would like him to remember that he came home and is able to go to the clinic. I'll also ask him to remember my father, a humble, fourth generation, cracker who didn't come home. He died in WWII leaving a family that he knew very well. So when CGC is out fishing every day, having plenty of money, doing what he wants to do, being where he wants to be and driving through a town he has distaste for, maybe he will give a little thought to some who are not as fortunate.
Take SR.74 to 31. Then you can avoid our town. As smart as you think you are you can figure a route around LaBelle if you actually wanted too. The scenery might do you good.
The only thing I have in common with LaBelle is that I unfortunately have to drive through it to go the VA in Ft. Myers, I've never been impressed with the town. Although I do know a few folks there and they're fine people.

Ha ha ha, I have a great life. I fish every day and do what the hell I want. I have plenty of money and never want for anything, nothing miserable about that. It's a wonderful life, and I know who my father is. I'd say the only miserable bastard, would be you. You seem to live such a pained life, do the would a favor and cut it short you'll be better off instead of suffering.
I have sufficient pride in my home, and my heritage that allows me to let you stay. Believe me pal, you have nothing to do with allowing me to go and stay where I want.
