thats a differnt animal
the river oaks park is a owner run/managed facility.
Therefore, as the "part" owner, any and all bills would be part an parcel your responsibility.

It could be worse... The River Oaks Utilities out in Ortona is passing all their maintenance work out the their customers. They just mailed out a bill to all their customers for tank maintenance in the amount of $116.

Did anyone know, according to the DEP website, that Dan the Waterman's Water License was revoked 10 days ago?? Who is running the water plant? Is it being run by a guy who has his licence revoked? or by a trainee who is not licensed? Is anyone running it????

Dan the waterman

They caught this guy committing fraud twice now. The City of LaBelles drinking water?

Doctoring samples for the City of LaBelle, Thats your water your washing your dishes and your bathing in

The City is aware of this and just letting him walk, more than likely still working for the City

Transparency? Wouldn't it be great if the water was so clear you could see through it? Water complaints are not a new problem. I recall the first time I tried to drink LaBelle's tap water some 25 years ago -- and I gagged. I guess I got used to it over the years. They say it's like most city water in south Florida -- safe to drink, but no one wants to.

I know of one commissioner that was told of the problem with the water, but he just got mad.  I think, maybe we need to send off a water sample and see what is really in this water that we will have to pay more for and not able to use it.

BOO

Our City Commissioners must bathe in bottled water.

Read the local rag, they did not know there was a problem with our water.

Who ever brought the Commissioners samples ------- touché

The water is brown or yellow

Smells like rotten eggs or gasoline

Drink the stuff you’re a dead fellow

Or just get gangrene

I did read in the paper that the city may be raising its utility rate .I don't live in the city limits but come in contact with the water on a weekly basis Thank God not daily.Just today a friend of mine was having a plumber come to her home and clear out her appliances.I think it is a disgrace that the water the city offers is brown and stains and has so much scale and lime ,stains everything including dishes and tears up your washer and hot water heater and dish washer then they have the nerve to tell you ,you have to pay for that crap and by the way we are going to raise your rates.I think everyone should start sending the bills to the BOCC.Shame on you.

Transparency, I am starting to see all the corruption being brought to the light.

Big ones and little ones, at all levels all over the country now all we have to do now is start prosecution of corrupters.
