This sounds like a good fundraising idea. People have stuff to get rid of but not everyone can hold their own garage sale. Many people live too far out to draw any customers. But putting all of the "garage sales" in one place makes it easy on the customers and helps the folks out who have stuff to sell. Plus it gives the VFW a little money for their chartiable programs. Sounds like everyone wins.

am pretty sure its run by the vfw

would have to drive down there an check the sign but there is one posted, and am fairly sure it was the VFW that runs it. They are the ones guiding parking an collecting the "rent", they have their club "gear" on to identify them as such.

from what I have seen

you just show up

the vendors start arriving around 6am and keep setting up till well past 11am

they collect your money for the "stall" around 10ish

its 10 dollars I believe for each "space"

the guys from the vfw will show you how much space it is.

its strictly a cash deal, and they come by in person with their hand out :-P
