How to avoid a troll?   do not feed them,  ignore them,  they just are looking for attention.  :)

The best way to defeat a troll is to ignore them,  they will eventually go away when you stop paying attention to them..It's simple.

One must reflect upon the reason behind the Trolls actions.....it would seem the troll is not happy unless he complains. I would seem that the Troll finds complaints where there is nothing wrong.

When the Troll is called on his actions, the Troll is suddenly a victim of great wrongs....only the Troll can understand, but he spreads his lies where ever he goes, stands upon his soapbox to tell all who will listen that he can't understand why he was treated the way he was, or why someone supposedly wronged him.

When the Troll is ignored, taken for what he truley is, he finds another way to become the victim, so he can again gain the attention that he so desperately craves.

Did the Troll have a 'bad childhood'? or maybe some abuse in his lifetime he cannot seem to get over?  Whatever the reason, the Troll needs to come to terms with himself, look at his history, as this is the best way to open the eyes of a Troll. Make him see what his actions have caused over the years, how many people he has hurt or tried to hurt because he couldn't be anything but a Troll.....Only then can a Troll become a person who people can truley like, not someone they fear will attack them as well.

Maybe someday, the Troll will find out it is easier to be a functioning part of the community.

When the troll sees itself, it is shocked by the ugliness that is to the bone! He finds himself severely lacking and as such, projects his ugly nature out towards those who were kind to him, tried to befriend him. He creates such a web of ugliness that he cannot free himself from it and therefore he becomes even more hateful and ugly towards others. It is a sad tale, yes, sad indeed........

On any internet forum, eventually you have to deal with the problem of "trolls."  A troll is someone who posts mean-spirited or outrageous comments just to get attention. They will argue with anyone just to get someone going. The way to defeat them is to refuse to answer them. If there is a "troll" comment, don't reply. Start a new thread about the same topic. If no one answers them, the trolls get bored and find another forum to attack.
