| We stopped in the China City next to Winn Dixie in Riverdale 8/21/09. A 12 yr old took our order, while a man was cutting up about 100 lbs. of meat at a sink(NO Gloves). The man walked to the sink put water on them (NO SOAP) for 2 seconds , wipe them with a paper towel and grabbed a handful of vegetables and started to prepare our food. DO NOT EAT THERE!

Olivia's has great food, we have been there 3 times and I don't think it is expensive at all. I mean we get the cheese burgers and they taste great and its good service. The drink prices are not bad pretty much the same as the rest of town.
Our first visit to Olivia's was great fast service and not expensive at all for what you get.
Our first visit to Rodeo I got a Med. Rare stake that was dry and I ordered mashed potatoes and I guess they thought I said potato salad because they were the coldest mashed potatoes I have ever had. The potato thing has happened a few times and not just to me so I stopped getting them and got fries. I don't know how it is know because I stopped going there about 2 months ago the last two times we were there it was a long wait for food and it was not good and both times orders were wrong and took a long time to get corrected.
I will not bash the place because I understand everyone needs to make a living but, I will say that Rob needs to maybe have a meeting with is staff and see who is willing to make it work and get the place back in good terms with some of the people in town or so F%^* the people that are saying things and go on. Either way is his choice everyone has had a bad experience at their favorite place to eat and if you haven't you will so keep that in mind, are you going to bash that place too?

AHHH,forgot Forreys Grill and Victorias,
Forreys, steak was cold when it finally came out, Salad bar was OK, expensive. Thumbs up for lunch, thumbs down for dinner.
I will comment on Victorias later but a Thumbs Down is the call.
Don't know the law but the lounge is smoking away and some people with kids were eating there, a separate room but all connected with the dining room, very strange.
You can smoke in don's? I thought it was agianst the law in the state of florida to smoke in a resturaunt? Maybe it is a county thing?
Don's is bad, Rodeo is worse, flora and ellas has good breakfast other than that no! the two mexican places on state road 80 are good. Have not been to Olivia's yet to eat saw the inside it is beautiful here the food is fantastic here nothing but great reviews. Victoria's is bad, forrey grill has good lunch, but expensive.

Without all the personal crap of posters attacking posters I have been to the restaurants in LaBelle so here it is:
New Fortune Cookie, liked it, no complaints, except I wish they would get all the feathers off the chicken wings. Thumbs up.
Don's, There fresh veggies are fresh from the can, want bread gotta ask, weak drinks, cheap cuts of meat, high prices, and they allow smoking in the building. Thumbs down.
Rodeo, French fries gray cold and soggy, good service, reasonable prices, rib night fall off the bone good, decent enough salad bar, great pizza, expensive drinks. Thumbs up.
Olivia's, Great food, decent drinks, excellent views, nice atmosphere, good service, expensive. Thumbs up.
Floe and Ella's, Good food, nice atmosphere, good service, decent prices, wonderful service, world famous pie's. Thumbs up.
Contreras, Good food, service and prices good place for lunch.
Thumbs up.
El Terasco's, Good food, good service, one big room atmosphere for dinner could use some work, priced in reason. Thumbs up.
We really need a good Italian restaurant that also delivers a decent pizza and other Italian food. Of course it would have to be in the City Limits. Hendry County makes it so hard to open a business it's cheaper to go elsewhere.
Of course these are just my opinions and as such should carry great weight.
