| Why would I suppport a local place that I do not like? That is just plain silly. Your post was so "high and mighty and egotistical" it is offensive.

You are entitled to your opinion just like everyone else, you are free to support any buisness you want, I and many others choose not to supoort a dishonest business.
"The section about the bathroom walls and high school antics was sarcasm"
Oh the iorny, so it is okay for you to use antics, sarcasim but it is not okay for others.
the you go and point out error when you have your own but now you have corrected it so that makes it okay, then you call out others as "high and mighty and egotistical" sheesh.

I am not an unhappy employee of Rodeo as you all think. I am a community member simply trying to say that we should support local businesses. I am not trying to be the "board police", but that is pretty catchy I must admit.
I respect the opinion of others and understand the dislike of a business, it is how the world works and improves. I was just trying to say that there is a more mature way to handle things than ranting about them on a message board. I am not "ranting" or trying to bash anything on this. My way of speaking is in a sacrastic tone and that is also how I write things. The section about the bathroom walls and high school antics was sarcasm. I admit my mistakes, and yes I did misuse "manor". I also DID use the edit to try and correct my mistakes, it comes in handy.
I would just like to make it clear that without the support of local business, a community does not thrive. I am simply trying to get people to be aware and realize that mistakes are made when running any business, especially a restaraunt and that constructive criticizm is much better than being negative.
I will continue to support BOTH restaraunts in hopes that everyone else will too.

Doesn't it seem like the truth is what should come into play here? I know nothing about the positives or negatives of these local restaurants because we can only afford to eat at home. The critics should be careful about telling the truth or lying because they could be opening themselves up to slander suits. However, one persons "opinion" over anothers can be different and still correct, if the truth. And aren't "opinions" what the forum is for? And BTW, I have noticed that when I go correcting grammar or spelling I often make mistakes myself, such as using "manor" (a high class place to live, or a home for sick folks) as compared to "manner", which may apply as a manner of speaking.

I have heard all of the rumors floating back and forth between businesses of LaBelle and do not understand how, in such a small town, there is so much competition. To be frank, shouldn't, in such an environment there be SUPPORT for LOCAL business, not an unhealthy and unethical disregard for them?
People complain of everything there could possibly be to complain about; it's human nature to never be satisfied. Instead of berating your local economy by bashing it and trying to "shut it down", embrace the fact, that instead of choosing between fast food and mediocre food that has been bestowed upon LaBelle in the previous years, there are new ideas and concepts coming into LaBelle. They may still need some tweeking and improvement, but unless you are willing to take the risk and branch out, I wouldn't be so quick to judge and cry out with so much criticizm. Support your local restaraunts and stop being trivial and egotistical in your thinking. Realize that, people are running their busnisses the best they can with the means they have.
I've read so many of the posts and find them quite comical and juvial. They seem like writings on the wall of a high school bathroom degrading the girl who gave you a dirty look during gym class or the guy who beat you out on the football field at practice. The only difference is that at least they could spell correctly and probably said something to the face of their nemesis rather than hiding behind a "holier than thou" persona.
Ladies and gentleman, I ask you to be adults for once and realize that by bashing and talking so negatively of local businesses, you are only hurting the community in which you live and raise your children. If you do not like a business, let them know in a mature and thoughtful manor rather than a critical and uneducated manor.
Imagine, if you can, that you are a business owner in a small, close knit community trying to survive under the eye of scrutiny and criticizm. Unless you are in any way, shape or form doing that, take a breath and stop screaming your insults long enough to think about how much you are hurting the place you live, and probably work.
Try saying this to yourself before you burst into such negative rants and trivial stories about your community: "An eye for an eye and soon the world will be blind". -Ghandi
