I just wanted to thank you all for your help and well wishes. Maia is with us and she's safe, sound and happy to be back with her family--albeit it's with Grandma & Grandpa. We leave to go back to Houston, Texas on Aug. 10th with her.
We are still looking for our Yellow Lab Mix-Clemmie. A Neutered male. He's 10 y.o, also has a microchip and is super friendly. He was about 45 lbs. or so. He's almost white in color, short-haired, with cream ears and a tail that curves straight up. He's got a sunburned nose.
Maia was found by the Martin County Correctional Facility in mid-June. We've put up posters for Clemmie all around that area and the surrounding intersections, roads & developments, etc. It's our hope that someone out there has taken him in as well and that they'll notice our lost ads. We can only pray that he's safe and doing well.
Thank you again to everyone and please keep your eyes open for our Clemmie.
Sincerely,
Maia & Clemmie's family

Yes, the owner has both of the dogs microchipped.
I am a volunteer who has been searching with the owners for all of the known missing dogs in Okeechobee.
The family is very happy to have one back, but still sad as they look for the other one.

| I am so sorry you are missing your dogs. I know how your heart must break. I lost my dog back in 1996 and although even if she was picked up by a wonderful person she would be dead by now, my heart jumps whenever I see a dog the same color and body style as she was. I have looked whenever I see a dog walking to see if it is yours or one of the other dogs missing on this forum. How sad. I will continue to look. I saw your flyer several weeks ago and will continue to look.

Hi, We are looking for our 2 dogs. Maia (Ma-ya) our Border Collie mix-female, long, black hair. She has an orange collar with black pawmarks on it. She is shy & timid.
Clemmie-our Yellow Lab Mix-male, short, white hair. Cream droopy ears and tail up in the air. He's very friendly & would do anything for food! They are both about 45 lbs.
Our Border Collie mix was last spotted around the Pizza Hut dumpster by 441 S and Wolff Rd. She was also seen a few days before that around the Public Library area. We were told that some girls were seen running after her and that she was pretty spooked and running away. Does anyone have any information about this?
Our story has/is being featured on the Channel 25 Local News yesterday & this morning (July 21/22).
The caretakers of our dogs live in Port St. Lucie, they took our dogs all the way into O. County and either deliberately strayed them away or accidentally lost them. Either way, they have yet to tell us the truth. This all happened early June-we think.
Someone close to them gave us the tip that the dogs were strayed away where they fish-off SW 99th Ave. and 78S..all the way down. We have had sightings of them all around the 441 area. Unfortunately, by the time we get there from Port St. Lucie, they are long gone or people call a few days after seeing them.
This has been heartbreaking and has been consuming our lives! We want to save our dogs! This is not what they deserve. We love them very much. They are a huge part of our family.
If anyone sees our dogs or can help in any other way, please let us know! We are offering a reward for any or all help leading to getting our dogs back.
Thank you and may God bless you.
Sincerely,
Shelley & Gregg, (772) 344-5017 Parent's home or (281) 723-5784 my cell.
