I believe this thread is about the city council. Councilman Watford is on the city council, not the county commission.

The problem with this county is there is to many milking the system, meaning county employees that do nothing to hold there own, they need to get rid of them, this would save money, also they increase the milage rate and they are out taxing all they can, like dog pins, etc which is totally obsurd, I would like to see the tax bills for the property beside the appraisors house bet its lower than the rest of ours, its been for years, someone needs to check into this, rumor has it that Bills property seems to always be less than most even though he has more than most, sounds alittle fishy to me;)

The economy is hurting financially, very few good paying jobs available and wages not on an increase, but when the county is not getting enough $ because of economical conditions (property values down) they increase the millage.. to get the amount of $ they want to give raises or for whatever else they want to do.  Councilman Watford, was the only one that did the right thing and opposed the increase.

I do believe that anyone who works for the city or the county is paid by our tax dollars, that is why we normally have to vote for them....

To paraphrase from another thread.

City Info, look to the two story building the Flagler Park artillery is pointed at.

County Info, tallest pink building in the NW section.

What was in the paper, I can't afford the paper so you will need to tell me. I think they are paid , why? And it's taxpayers money that pays them.
