Moffitt is an excellent cancer center........My prayers go with you and your family.....Keep the faith
Moffitt is indeed a GREAT medical facility for Treatment for Cancer. My mom was treated there.
I belong to a ependymoma tumor group on line. About two years ago Moffitt received one of the grants for research in radio waves as an option to radiation. GREAT NEWS! It's Painless. No after effects. No hair loss. ONLY kills Cancer cells not all cells around it. Not sure if its still in the test stage and I am not sure if they have reached the test level for humans but in lab tests it worked amazingly!
I will keep you in my prayers. (and if you need to vent post me!)

Narnie and Meems I thank you and for the info on Moffitt ,I don't know anyone who has been there (you know the unknown is bothersome)My husbands mom and dad went to Ft. Myers I was real familiar with Cancer Specialist wasn't happy with them either. The Dr. wants my husband to go up to Moffitt for treatment and they said they have the best head and neck reconstructive surgeons, just wish was already there. Thanks for the encouraging info.

You are extremely blessed then. If they had caught my Dad's stroke in time he would not be dead now. You definitely have a reason to praise!! (hugs)

Okeechobee High's football team was ranked as number 9 in the Palm Beach Post's Top Ten today; our offense is number 1 in total yardage; Lonnie Pryor is the leader in both rushing yards and scoring; Garrett Madrigal is statistically the number 4 quarterback; Walt Fortner is number 7 in pass receiving yardage.
Great job, Brahmans!!

| What can I celebrate?? Hmmmm That we live in America and though most of us think thier are a few off thier rocker, even they are able to speak thier minds without the fear of being stoned in the streets. I have a roof over my head, and a wonderful husband, mother, and daughter to love, even when the rest of the world leaves you standing in the cold. But mostly I would want to celebrate Jesus, and what he gave to us all, if only we accept him. To me those are some pretty great things to Woo Hoo about!!

Tell Anthony "Way to go Little Man" !!
On another good note the OHS baseball team played in a HS showcase today in Fort Myers . Tyler Finney was 2 for 2, Jusin Morgan, Mark Weir each got a hit and Brice knocked in the only run we got. I didn't get to go because I have been at home with strep & bronchitis since Wed- but it was nice to hear that they had a great game!!

Great to see some positve things going on. Sometimes we need to stop and remember some good things, while so many negative things are going on around us.

Just wondering if anyone has anything positive? Do we have anything to celebrate? It's really depressing lately, who can come up with something positive?
