It's really scary. At first, I was upset that these people would forget their own children in a hot vehicle...but the more I thought about it, they did not intend to leave their children in the car. I'm not defending them, but I am definitely not going to judge them. Everyone makes mistakes and I feel terrible for the families who are going through this tragedy. It's just awful. I hope it's a lesson for people to be aware of what's going on around them and slow down a little; don't be in such a hurry.
It is sad. I think all the time back when my kids were that small " That could have been me" Thankfully it never happened. But I can understand how you can get busy, or do one thing out of ordinary like have to make a stop you might not have on another day and forget to stop and drop the baby off at daycare and go to work. It is frightening to think about. Now thankfully mine are old enough there is no way I can forget their in the car.
