This is good for our planetary health and the health of our economy.  It opens new horizons for clean energy and for the creation of jobs in the "green" industry.  We must abandon oil and reject nuclear energy.  Both are unhealthy, unworkable, and dangerous.

I saw  a recent program about electric cars. One particular car owner installed solar panels on the roof of his home, which supplies the electricity needed to recharge his car. Other than the initial cost for the car and the panels his fuel costs are nothing.
