I didn't say you did. I asked a question, just like you did. I answered your questions, you didn't answer mine. If you are saying that McCain has done nothing, fine. Then your questions seem pointless.

He's gotten the nomination. He beat out one of the most powerful political machines in this country. He did this and he was certainly not one of the rich and powerful. Look at where he started out.
So tell me what McCain has done? I keep answering you - whether you like my answers or not, I take the time to respond. Reciprocate.

After Bush and Cheney, anybody who offers hope and helps you to believe that there is still a chance to fix things has already done more than enough for me. However, since neither Obama nor McCain have ever been president, none of us knows what they will do given that opportunity. Why don't you tell me one thing McCain has done for us?

He's offered an alternative to the current administration that has really strained just about everything in this country.

I don't know that anyone deserves your vote. The man is intelligent and has captured the attention of a lot of people - worldwide. Look at where he came from. The man has character.

Have the character to be honest. He is the only black man ever in the history of this country to be the nominee for a major party. Moreover, he has an excellent chance of winning.

| I am NOT hitting on McCain for his service, but his tactics. He choose to put forth an attack of Obama's plan for Iraq rather then his own plan to the NY Times, and then cried like a little baby when they would not publish it. They were very clear that they would print HIS plan, not simply an attack on Obama's. If he was smart enough (which I think he is) he could have done both...but he choose to make a big issue out of it for people like you, CR.

You people go after Obama with everything - no holds barred and then you want to hold something sacred. I wasn't aware of anyone going after McCain for his service. Obama certainly made that clear. McCain has taken this campaign into the gutter - not because of his service but out of desperation.

I just hugged my child on their way to bed, and I would hate to leave...but I would do my second tour. I could easily retire if I wanted to take that chance away.
Not sure what that has to do with McCain not presenting his plan, however.

| He is desperate...why not tout his own ideas, rather then attack Obama's? For the same reason he refused to articulate his plan for Iraq in the New York Times..because he knows going negative works. Otherwise, all a voter has is two plans, and I guess he knows his plan will lose....otherwise, why not talk about it?

Is this the same America that doesn't have the right to decide that it wants a single payer health care system?

I haven't gotten around to everyone yet so I can only speak for myself. I find McCain's ads offensive. I agree with Fred's analysis of where McCain is at.

Double Standard Obama
No matter what you say, he will turn it into racism. Well the man is playing both sides of the court.
I think McCain's camp is doing a good job with what is politically correct with their ads.

| Cecil Rhodes, the founder of Rhodesia? In favor of race mixing? Wonder why the British Parliment in 1977 rewrote his scholarship foundation rules to allow grants to women and people of 'other nationalities'? Maybe you have read some other things about the guy than I have, but he was the typical British imperialist who was very successful at what he did with diamonds and cleverly using the natives to make himself and the country very wealthy

Oh the foolish intelligentsia. If Cecil Rhodes accomplished his dream we wouldnt be arguing about race bacause we would have well been on our way to be the one "browned out" race. If all races were mixed there could be no racism. Interracial marriages, or "race mixing" as some called it, would be the ideal government project to onece and for all accomplish the Rhodes dream and the Dr. ML Kings dream. You are all foolish and petty.
