AN OPEN LETTER TO OUR CURRENTLY SEATED CONGRESSMEN

Dear Mr. Congressman,

Are you afraid of President Obama, his cabinet, his czars, his unions, Rohm Emanuel? Are you afraid of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Chris Dodd, Al Franken, or Barney Frank? Didn’t YOU take an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States, which we see frequently being bypassed for political reasons? Then how can you look at yourself in the mirror, knowing you voted for unbridled government spending and waste, without even reading the bill? Was this waste of tax dollars to protect and help the citizenry, or was it to protect your precious job and advance your precious career?

Oh, you say that is so important for the support of YOUR family — what about MY struggling family? Aren’t you supposed to be a senator or representative of the people in your district or state? Why then aren’t your votes consistent with the desires of your constituents? President Obama did not elect you to office, and most likely, based on his performance thus far, he will betray you next election, just as he has already done to our country overseas on his apology tours. Don’t expect him to be behind you, (except with lots of words), when you meet a lot of criticism next election.

I call upon you to return to decency and values, take a stand for what you know is right for this country, namely limited government growth, no more bailouts, no more undeserved support for the unions, no more wasteful spending, no government sponsored healthcare (which will eventually bankrupt our economy and force premature demise of our elderly citizens), and rejection of this Cap and Trade tax which is being rushed thru Washington, under the guise "global warming". Scientists don’t believe it so why should you listen to Gore and his cronies? You decide — if you want President Obama to help you with your feeble attempt at reelection, then continue your disgraceful performance, and we voters will throw you out of office. If, however, you want your citizens to reelect you, and return to supporting you, then return to your sanity and be a responsible senator/representative and take a stand for saving this country and it’s Constitution. What’s the difference between Bernie Madock and the U.S. Government — Bernie is going to prison for his crimes.
