| Threatened, yes. I was threatened by SP until I learned that dumb is not contagious. I hope she runs, she won't stand a snowballs chance. Not too worry though, she'll shoot off her mouth and shoot hersellf in the foot several times before she even gets a chance to be nominated.

I would assume that you are referencing her rhetorical expression of the proximity of Alaska to Russia and the on-slot of jokes and finger pointing from the liberal media that ensued and, obviously, continues today by those who feel threatened by this woman.

She was in way over her head! Money is now what she sees, no longer Russia.

I have doubts about her because she ran with neocon McCain. I haven't ruled out
voting for her if she were to run.

Sarah Palin.....average, normal, citizen who got involved when she saw government gone bad. She's willing to stand up to her own party (how many politicians will do that??!). She is a mom, wife, and friend. She is a TRUE representative of Americans because she is in NO WAY part of the Washinton elite...they are terrified of her!
She is a real person, she is an honest person (18 ethics charges and ALL were cleared!!!) She needs to be the next President of the United States of America and get this country back on track.
I agree she isn't perfect and she needs some polishing but overall she is REAL!!
Unfortunately Chad she just resigned. She will step down just before her term ends.
I believe we have more to see from Mrs. Palin.....she's only gearing up. Not only that, if you listen to her speech, she stepped down because her personal political career is becoming a burden on the State of Alaska and the people!?!?!?!? How many politicians would do that?!?!?!?!?!?
I pray she runs in 2012 and is just taking some time off to rest and recollect herself and get the family in a bunker (just kidding). However, she may just be done with it but I don't think she has that kind of personality. If she does disappear from the limelight because of the treatment of her family then I have even MORE respect for her putting her family ahead of her ambitions.
Only time will tell.....http://www.sarahpac.com is still up and running though.......

I used to be opposed to term limits, but now I am not so sure they aren't a great idea.

I agree flyrep. They are concerned with getting elected. They are trying to appear in the center so they don't ruffle any feathers. It is cowardly. I learned a lot about this in the AJ election this year. Instead of being concerned with issues and ideology, some were too concerned with frivolity and posturing.

Most politicians say that they like Jefferson and the Constitution, but their actions
prove otherwise. Very few have the guts to be Constitutionalists. It is easier to
call us terrorists in the hope that we'll back off so they may realize their selfish motives.

Fellow citizens--
A wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government.
(From his first inaugural address, March 4, 1801)
