Hey everyone, we no longer have to do our own thinking for ourselves or engage others in discussion, especially those whose values and or opinions are not in keeping with our own because SayItIsntTrue wants us to drink the same Kool-Aid they did. Isn't that nice? How thoughtful.
Comrade SayItIsntTrue, where do we report for indoctrination training and what time? I can't wait to be reprogrammed. Comrade SayItIsntTrue told me just the other day how much fun it is to get your brain washed. Yes sir, just put your trust in Comrade Flytrap and his young assistant and don't ask any questions, such as what proof of corruption they alledge to have against our mayor and city council. After we all get reprogrammed we certainly will believe everything Comrade Flytrap and his young assistant tell us without question.
We're the good guys who wear white hats and NEVER sell out our beliefs because some weakminded nutcase thinks we should. We continue to watch and think freely.

Cacomistle only knows what he's told by his friends, cactus wren, chuckwalla and crickets. I only said that there was a letter by Weller in the AJ News about the incident. Why Ms Nesser said what she did is beyond this ringtail's abilities to explain.

I cannot say for certain, 100% that Weller said anything about Shannon, but I
also have no idea why Ms. Nesser would lie about this. Any theories on that?
How about you watchingyou? Why would she lie? I'm sure that cacomistle
would know. Yes, no, maybe so?
I do not know her well,
but we served together on the library board. She was always honorable
and it wouldn't make sense that she would fabricate a story as she has no ties
to the recall effort. I would think that you all know
her from the city council meetings. Am I right? Heck, even if Ms. Nesser and
Weller had disagreements, I doubt that she'd concoct such a lie and take the
time to publicly speak her mind.

There are witnesses to attest that the incident never happened, including the police officer on duty and John Kantowski, plus everyone else who was outside at the time. If the incident had occurred, I'm sure the officer would have done something about it.
Shannon was in the building, in the council chambers, while Mike was outdoors sitting on a bench next to John Kantowski, having a nice conversation with him. I know Shannon was still in the building because she hissed a remark at me as I passed at least 10 minutes after Mike had left the building. Yet Ms. Nesser claimed that Shannon was being screamed at OUTDOORS at the same time! Has Shannon been cloned or does she have an identical twin?
Believe me, if he HAD been using the top of his voice, everyone within a several block radius would have heard him - including everyone inside the council chambers!

If you have 'PUBLIC' documents that you claim supports you and your wife's allegations of public corruption, you should have NO problem posting that information. Apparently, you don't read the letters to the editor in the AJ News. They printed a letter from Mr. Weller that completely debunked Ms. Nesser's claims.
Yep, Mr. Weller did his homework and an average citizen won. My cactus wren friend said that Mr. Weller could have put Perry Mason to shame! Maybe HE should run for Joel Stern's job!

I think you forgot or did not know that we claimed that TWO people called my wife a derogatory name. Ms. Nesser apparently heard Weller call Shannon something very uncharitable and we believe her. There were so many lies from you and your group that nite. Tessa says she heard Mike Weller say something derogatory about you..........and the very next speaker, your husband..........said it was somenone else. Other people have heard it and I have heard them say.......who it was they actually heard. Can all of these people be wrong?? BTW they are from your minority group also.
In following the line of speakers that nite, Mr Duffy also spoke out AGAINST Mr. Weller for being appointed to a position. A little wren, who told a coyote and a cadwaller, who told ............about that particular board meeting...........Mr. Weller researched a particular matter. Someone commented that it was going to be a short nite. Mr. Weller proved that the structure was built way before AJ was even a town!! Codes did not exist for most of the structure at the time. Mr. Weller proved that the city was wrong............. what is interesting is...........that the women were closed minded and voted...........there were no permits.......(permits could not be issued from city that did not exist) and the men saw the proof also and saw the truth......Only Mr. Weller researched it to such a length to bring the full truth to the situation. And this person, is the one you DIDNT want on the board. On this one item.................I am glad he is on this board as he fought for what was right.
You started your tirade at time of 1:13:39. "What is interesting is that Mr. Weller said nothing verbally all night cept a whysper to his wife that no one else could possibly hear. He chewed gum all nite. And it was not loudly. My friend who told me of this would be more than happy to swear to this instance to whom ever wants to hear it. You knew that the tape would not pick up what he might say...........so you used it to your advantage.............NOT once but several times.
You threatened the mayor. That is on the tape. 1:15:46 You made mention that you "see the truth". You may think you see it.............but one thing is for certain. .... you don't speak it. For as much as you direct people to see certain clips.........I watch the entire thing. More can be learned that way.
I am not necessarily a fan of Mr. Weller's but at least I know where he stands and that he is able to prove his point, whether or not I agree with it.
On the other hand,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I am still waiting................. when are we going to see your documentation. Why wait for when you think you have it............show the town. If you truly have what you say............then others will join you.
All is see is innuendo. And from the "shows" you provide for our viewing enjoyment...........you prove our point. (clapping for you) yea!!!!!!!! Good job!!!

I didn't fight moving my travel trail. There is no revenge. The trailer was moved and has been sold due to not using it.

Please keep in mind the person telling you this is the same man that yelled to me to shut up during my time to talk in front of council. I have never been rude to this couple and will not start now.
I will tell you I did start going to the meeting because of the trailer. Not to fight with the city however. I was told one thing by council and another by the city. I started attending the meetings and have only missed 2 in the past 9 or so months. The recall is not due to the trailer or Mr. Walp not getting renewed as chief. Katy please feel free to contact me anytime with questions.

I know for a fact that several very obnoxious and personal attack posts on these forums as well as on the EV Trib forums that have never been removed, no matter how agregious or how many complaints are filed. Yet, even a vague or mildly negative comment will vanish almost literally seconds after it posts. Seems pretty one-sided to me!

Why free speech with civility?
1. Because our forum members believe that citizens can disagree about issues without being disagreeable with one another --- and that name-calling, bullying and character assassination undermine the intelligent discussion of public issues.
2. Because a few hateful people shouldn’t be allowed to spoil what is intended as a safe and open public forum where people can discuss the issues that are important to them without opening themselves to vicious personal attacks and threats.

| Rumor has it that the recall team wasn't there because they were preparing their court briefs for the following day. Glad to say the Judge was intelligent enough to understand state statues and not be intimidated by Walp and Flynn. The recall team LOST! NO RECALL IN NOVEMBER!

Council meeting was adjourned at 7:35pm - fastest, least disrupted, and most productive session in a long time! Councilman Dietz took longer to read the consent agenda than the Call to the Public lasted! It was good to see more of the everyday people of Apache Junction speaking up for their city.

Council got work done. wooooooooo hoooooooooo And someone else got to speak and guess what,,,,,,,,,,,,,it was for the current council and it was for AJ. I am in shock. Nice shock.............. This city has a right to be mad, upset. Pee'd off. While I can understand everyone has different views I can assure you that I have done some reading, viewing of meetings, talked with all council members and this city attorney needs to go! Recall isn't the problem, Walp isn't the problem. It's a council that needs re looking at.

This council meeting made me sick. The flippant attitude of Flynn to Stern OMG! The hand on the hip and the leg cross. PLEASE have a more mature attitude next time you speak.
The violent tone in Walp's voice OMG! No wonder everyone at PD was scared. Tone it down and maybe people will listen.
The anger in Jimmy Jack's words OMG! Do some yoga before you talk. It will calm you down.

Ok...someone needs to clue me in here.
As much as I admire their passion/drama.... Can someone tell me some examples of constructive alternative ideas they've put forth.
(They being Shannon and Stephens and Co.)
I've heard alot of "shame on you for this" and "shame on you for that" type stuff, but not too much of "Here's an idea...."
That's not meant to be a slam (well...not totally anyway ;-) ) .... just asking what I'm missing here.

If you heard anything as you approached the podium on July 1, it was in your imagination. The only outbursts I heard during that meeting were from you and your friends. Mr. Weller barely said a word the whole evening.
That's how I saw it too. Can you imagine what has gone on behind closed doors if the public meeting went like this? The only ones who looked like they wanted to pick a fight were you and your friends!

PLEASE - someone tell me EXACTLY what the Flynns have done that is PRODUCTIVE? All I hear is allegations of corruption, defending the Constitution and "violation of rights" - everything seems to be about what's WRONG with AJ. IMHO, there hasn't been a darn thing CONSTRUCTIVE as a solution to the problem, except an implied "nyah, nyah - we've got our recall - so there!" They've done more harm than good, as there will be fewer persons likely to run for office, if they know that failing to "listen to the people" (aka vote the way *I* want or else) will set them up for recall as soon as the statutes allow. How does THAT equal "productive" or "positive"? I want the mayor and council to act for the best of ALL citizens of AJ. "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few" - isn't that how it SHOULD work?
Good point and thank you! I never spoke out much before and I'm sorry I didn't up to now. But it was and is obvious that a few can say what they want, harrass the city council members, interrupt them over and over, shout them down when all else fails and then elevate themselves to higher levels of victim status!
And who loses? We do! Because no one will want to run for city council except those who want that good ole boy network that grants favours and enforces rules by who you know and applies them with a double standard. And you know what happens next? No one will want to live here and do business here anymore! After the last meeting where the troublemakers were obvious and John started a fight with the mayor from the front row, I'm sorry I moved here! No wonder we look like Hooterville, some of our citizens are acting like Hooterville residents!
Peyton Place has nothing on this and I'm ready for Pixley. Green Acres is turning brown and looking really tiresome.
Why is it that these same people think that they are the victims when they provoke a fight, bait the city council staff, interrupt rudely again and again and think that they are the chosen few speaking for the rest of us?

The ambulance had just left with him, I needed to turn off puter......
They don't let you back there with them when they are working to save lives.
Thank you for your concern. He did not have to be intubated and put on a ventilator
I can relate with Mrs. Flynn when she talked about herself and her children. I am a nurse.

I can assure you Mrs. Flynn that you do not know who I am. I have not met you in person. I have seen you on video and once in a meeting.
