I have the simple answer to your ill informed legal opinions!

RECALL! LOL:shock:

EF...your answer shows that you are not as smart as you think you are (something everyone else has already figured out).  What with all the legal research you always do for your court cases, I'd think you'd be smart enough to look up the facts before making the statement you did.

My answer was not ill informed and it is not my opinion.  It is FACT...pure and simple, whether you or anyone else likes it.   If you don't like the way the law is, do something really positive for once...change the law.  Don't just b**ch about it   But until you do change the law, my answer stands as fact, not an opinion (look up the difference in Websters if you know how to use that book).

Ok, I'm with you on that one, when you going to leave back to Chicago, YOU'VE BEEN RECALLED. I think I might even drum up some help for you packing your belongings and an escort to the state line if you need it.

Flyspy007....to answer your question....something you could have easily done if you had just taken the time to educate yourself by speaking with your County Supervisor (Bryan Martyn) or reading state statutes....

1.  The County Manager only serves at the pleasure of the County Supervisors who are elected officials...their only boss is the voting community.

2.  The County Recorder, as well as the County Attorney, Clerk of the Superior Court, County Treasurer, County Assessor, Sheriff are elected officials...they answer only to the voting community.  They take no direction from the County Manager or the three Supervisors.

3.  The County Manager cannot dictate to any elected official.  The County Manager cannot give orders to any elected official.  The County Manager can only run the county as directly by the Board of Supervisors.  He has no authority otherwise and has no standing to ask for the resignation of any elected official.

Why has the County Manager not demanded the resignation of the County Recorder?

What is wrong with these officials?
