katy8520, I have the same information you have. I even have, what I thought to be a current list from the city. Apparently Ms Rizzi brought her axe rather than her list, her intentions here are obvious.
And yes, I would like the citizens to know what positions are open. I will try to get a current list when I go the the city complex this week, if in fact a more up to date one exists

I would think you would want citizens to know about ALL the openings..
You have an obvious agenda/fixation with P and Z
I find it odd that you care so much whether or not I put in for P and Z, I applied at least two times and you never seemed to care..
There's a lot of things going on in OUR community other than just horse issues ..

Ms Rizzi, I try to be nice and offer YOU the opportunity to let everyone here know about the open positions on the boards and commissions, and you attack me like I was a first cousin to Shannon. If your up to the challenge, I'd be more than happy to fill the void she has obviously left in your life. Remember, google earth is FREE, and you have my address........
I have an ISSUE with those who BRING THEIR PERSONAL AGENDAS to the appointed positions they hold with the city of Apache Junction. Everyone who cares for their community should. Don't YOU? Unlike YOU, I don't have to make myself look good to everyone on here. I will fight for what is right.
And honestly Ms Rizzi, I know you may think it makes you look good to the others on here but, I could care less if you apply for any board or commission opening in any city.
With the way your looking here on the blogs, if you have any desire to run for counsel again in the future, I would honestly take some time to re-evaluate what you are doing to yourself. If you think "the circle" is going to take you to your desired destination, you are definitely on the wrong bus.
And yes, YOU are correct, there are lots of other things besides horse issues going on in OUR community. The lack of the "property maintenance standards" being enforced, the "storage of rubber road cushions", the harboring of restricted animals within the city limits, ect.
Now that YOU have redirected this thread to satisfy YOUR need to look good in everyones eyes, would you like me to start one just for YOU and I?

Ms Rizzi, has the city advertised the open positions to the public? Is the information on the city website? If you have a list of open positions, maybe you can post them here. The list I have must be old, it shows all the positions filled.
And as usual, you try to redirect everyone away from the topic at hand, remember, this was about the open position on the P&Z commission. Have you put your application in yet?
Thanks, Ed Dison

Mr Fisher, this would be a good way for you to get involved in the community. Wait a minute, sorry, forgot you already did this. You were removed because you couldn't even show up at the meetings. Community involvement ZERO.

I will also remind you it was a volunteer position which I spent almost two years and was constanly spoke over etc by Chairman Verly .
I resigned when my Job conflicted. Doug Coleman can say what he wants these are the facts.
It was and still is a volunteer position!!
Mr Fisher, we were talking about conditional use permits. I also find it impossible that anyone was able to talk over you.

Did your leader inform you of this?
The discussion was CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS. The Planning and Zoning Commission has the final say and makes the decision. If you would have shown up to at least a couple of these meetings when you sat on this commission, instead of sitting at home, maybe you would have caught on to this.

So now we dance, huh?
Better get your best shoes on, I'm a Dance Contest Winner.
If you think that the P&Z has no influence, I guess you've never been to a council meeting. How about the LAST council meeting? 3 of them were there, one even spoke!
Who controls the CUPs? If the P&Z sets forth their recommendation and it magically includes a CUP when the Council presents said recommendation, does not the P&Z now have the final say?
What happens when the P&Z, the mayor, and some on the council are in agreement before the vote? Who has influence over whom?

How about some of the folks that are currently on ZERO boards?
How about some folks that just want to make AJ a better place, rather than further their political career?
How about some folks that actually CARE about AJ?

Several of the boards only meet once a year or as needed..
There are three people serving on three boards..
