A cost overrun is NOT evidence of corruption. It's not even evidence of incompetence. You keep going around in circles here.
Construction projects frequently run over budget. The costs of materials and labor fluctuate. That's why they call them "estimates". There are almost always change orders. The larger the project, the more likely an overrun is. It's construction. That is all.

If you had spent years going to every City Council meeting as I did you wuld have more than enough proof.
Why do I need to prove anything ? I am not being paid with taxpayer money !
Let the 5 members of the council explain or the Newspaper Archives! It was well reported by the AJ News and Independent.
How can you go Two Million overbudget with construction overruns ?
Is that not mismanagement as well?
You need to prove something when you accuse people of corruption, wrongdoing or mismanagement. The burden is on you, not them.

Do we not have a rainy day fund side aside? That seems like good planning to me
I wonder how many other cities have one..
In order to remain competitive with other cities, yes we must have basic amenities..

Look at your City hall 2 million overbudget!
I won't even go into the other Capital Facilities as they may be somewhat justified.
Library ,Pool etc.
A lot wasted thinking the party would never end !
Doug , Johnny, Rick, RE, and Robin to a lesser extent at the time were begged not to go down this path.
the rest is now evident. I know I am ....... the usual you people crap on.

Put up the proof.
When construction projects go over budget and you want to sound like you know what you are talking about, you need to go into details about why they went over budget. Construction projects are tough to budget, especially large commercial projects. The cost of labor and materials fluctuates and things come up that no one expected. Hmmmm - what percentage of the total cost of the project would $2,000,000 be?
What did you want them to do - stop construction when the last dollar budgeted for the project was spent?
Details, Elliot. Pesky details. Tell us more. PROVE that you know what you are talking about. Tell us what happened that made the project go over budget.

Spend 2 million more than you can afford and any budget would be in trouble.
AJ leaders five in particular are to blame.
Legislature is doing the right thing !!!
Specifics! Talk about something specific! You make these vague, ambiguous statements and you never talk about specific items.
If you really knew what you were talking about, you would be singling out these over-budget items and discussing them. But you don't know what you're talking about, so the best you can do is criticize and accuse the people who were elected to their positions. Blatherskite!

Ok, here is the corrected version from the city. Sorry, for the confusion.
The City of Apache Junction is now broadcasting a video of a special press conference held June 17th in Gilbert to highlight the great iniquities and problems with the budget presented by the state legislature concerning cities and towns.
The mayors of Gilbert, Queen Creek and Apache Junction all spoke at the press conference about how taking money from these cities is unfair and will do great damage to public services in these communities if enacted.
Featured are Mayor John Insalaco of AJ, Mayor Art Sanders of Queen Creek and Mayor John Lewis of Gilbert.
The broadcast is available on CH 11 Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9 AM and then throughout the day at varying times. It is available to watch as a web stream right now on www,ajcity.net under the City Council web stream video section. Go to Government/City Council/Webstream and it is the last item at the bottom of the page.
For further information contact the City of Apache Junction Community Relations Office at (480) 474-5080 or email pbrenner@ajcity.net.

Terrance,
Iniquities as in sins? Didn't you mean inequities?
