I do not know if it would help...
from http://www.ajcity.net/CivicAlerts.aspx:
The Apache Junction Landfill is offering Apache Junction residents another drop off opportunity this November at no cost. Any city resident can take one free load to the Landfill during the week of November 9th through the 14th. Be sure to bring proof of residency (such as a water bill).

Our 10-15 cubic yard roll-off boxes are ideal for most homeowners who are dealing with debris and waste from home remodeling projects. Our 2 yard commercial garbage dumpsters are best for construction companies and small businesses undergoing renovation. Our smaller tracks allow for greater maneuverability, which makes our dumpsters perfect for general contractors performing work in tight areas.

| If you go the U-haul route, you might as well take all the metal to recycle, especially if you have a large amount of aluminum. You might only get enough to cover the fuel, but you won't have to pay to get rid of it.

It might be less expensive to use a open trailer from u-haul . Any car or truck with a hitch can pull it to the dump.
I have a car with a hitch if you need one.

After two long years of struggling alone against a failing economy I have lost my home
Where can I go to rent a dumpster so I can begin packing and clearing out my home? I can't find any information for this type of rental.
