Someone didn't take thier happy pill this morning! Well, I'm actually off to enjoy some of this hot weather right now instead of sitting at my desk complaining about it and everything else all day!

Here we go. I think I do (opinion). You don't know whether I do or not. (fact) An average is nothing more than a mathematical approximation, based on at least 2 facts. Its just a statistical "opinion" unless we know all the facts that went into its calculation. A fact is an absolute, anywhere and everywhere, and stands on its own. An opinion is a belief based on non-statistical probability.
He got 6 rebounds in tonite's game, but only 2 last night. (facts) His average rebounds is 4. (statistical opinion -- relative only to the facts that underlie it) To me, that sucks. (opinion) It's 115 degrees outside right now. (fact) The average temperature in July is 110 degrees. (statistical opinion) It's hot, or it's uncomfortable, or it's nice and warm. (opinions).

I'm just kidding! I go from my a/c house to my a/c car. I feel bad for my kids when they have sports at 4:00 in the afternoon outside but they don't seem to mind too much. The humidity back east is terrible and I don't understand the whole living in natural disaster territory! I'm a true lover of the desert and one of the few actual natives!

Why do people who do not like the heat move here...didn't you know it gets hot before you made the move? Geesh...stop complaining and enjoy it...I love the hot weather! More pool time!

Your view is one way to look at the next three months. Many of the rest of us see the same thing as just three more long months of Arizona hell. Personally, I prefer November's stats as indicators of a more habitable environment (some October days can be downright brutal).
BTW, you seem to like to quote averages. I've never experienced an average; what's one like?

Just last month the "experts" of doom and gloom were saying that folks would be using their "stimulus" checks on essentials, food and gas because the economy is so hopeless. So, I see this as very good news. If they are using the money to buy big screen TV's and don't need it for the essentials, food and gas, then our economy is doing better than what is being reported.....who woulda thunk?? YEH!! hee haw!! break out the bubbly..maybe our cars will run on it.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average soared 213.97 points, reclaiming the losses booked over the previous four trading sessions, as investors were encouraged by a strong batch of retail sales results. The sharp market rally came even as crude-oil prices staged a dizzying rebound and Standard & Poor's downgraded the credit ratings of the nation's top two bond insurers.
