Obama - Smoking gun finally found? AP- WASHINGTON D.C. - In a move certain to fuel the debate over Obama’s qualifications for the presidency, the group “Americans for Freedom of Information” has released copies of President Obama’s college transcripts from Occidental College. Released today, the transcript indicates that Obama under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate at the school. The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California. The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program. To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship. This document would seem to provide the smoking gun that many of Obama’s detractors have been seeking. The news has created a firestorm at the White House as the release casts increasing doubt about Obama’s legitimacy and qualification to serve as president. When reached for comment in London, where he has been in meetings with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Obama smiled but refused comment on the issue. Meanwhile, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs scoffed at the report stating that this was obviously another attempt by a right-wing conservative group to discredit the president and undermine the administration’s efforts to move the country in a new direction. Britain's Daily Mail has also carried the story in a front-page article titled, “Obama Eligibility Questioned”, leading some to speculate that the story may overshadow economic issues on Obama’s first official visit to the U.K. In a related matter, under growing pressure from several groups, Justice Antonin Scalia announced that the Supreme Court agreed on Tuesday to hear arguments concerning Obama’s legal eligibility to serve as President in a case brought by Leo Donofrio of New Jersey. This lawsuit claims Obama's dual citizenship disqualified him from serving as president. Donofrio’s case is just one of 18 suits brought by citizens demanding proof of Obama’s citizenship and/or qualification to serve as president. Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation has released the results of their investigation of Obama’s campaign spending. This study estimates that Obama has spent upwards of $950,000 in campaign funds in the past year with eleven law firms in 12 states for legal resources to block disclosure of any of his personal records. Mr. Kreep indicated that the investigation is still ongoing but that the final report will be provided to the U.S. attorney general, Eric Holder.

Obama To Fire His First Gay Soldier
A West Point graduate and officer in the Army National Guard who is fluent in Arabic and who returned recently from Iraq, received notice today that the military is about to fire him. Why? Because he came out of the closet as a gay man on national television.
Obama could sign an executive order today repealing Clinton’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” law. With roughly three-quarters of the public, including a majority of republicans, in favor of open gay service, why not?
Is this really the right time to fire military officers fluent in Arabic?

Hey craig, heard anymore on this?? Disturbing isn't it?? Not surprising, Barry Soetoro a.k.a. Barry Obama a.k.a. Barack Hussein Obama...will the real foreign born please stand up???
I guess growing up in a Muslim Country and sitting in a black Liberation Theology anti American Church for 20 years would tend to mold you now wouldn't it? Unfortunately, it's that molding that is in the process of CHANGING who AMERICA is and needs to be to remain AMERiCA. Think about that and then maybe you will take those luvbugs out of your ears and actually listen to what Barry is doing and not so much what he's saying before it's too late.

Barack Hussein Obama or Barry Sotelo needs to stand up in front of the American people and say "look, this is the deal and then tell the truth whichever way it is and stand up like a man" but instead he puts the idiot child out in front of the cameras to hem and haw like a goofball in hopes this all goes away with all the craziness the TERRORISTS are pulling now that they know we no longer consider them to be TERRORISTS. Shoes?? under the topic Obama Crimes? Really?? The FBI must be busy with this one.
The U.S. is currently at war in two countries, we have an imminent pandemic to worry about, unemployment through the roof, the worst economy since the Great Depression, 1 in 10 Americans are receiving food stamps, Arizona is facing a staggering deficit, and we have immediate need to solve an environmental problem now that took 150 years to create.
And you waste our time on Michelle Obama's shoes? If she'd worn $5 tattered sneakers you would have called her a dilettante or trailer trash. No matter what the Obamas do they'll get it wrong, according to you. Get real! Get a J-O-B! Get a hysterectomy! Get a glass of wine but please don't waste our time.

Isnt this what he accused bush of doing? Bombing villages and air raids on civilians. War is hell. Perhaps he will be a little slower to criticize.

I have to disagree. These people are homeless, not clueless. I would never think of wearing designer clothes when volunteering in a shelter or food kitchen....it is not appropriate to flaunt what you have to someone who has so little. Volunteering is giving your heart and making sure that the people you are helping are comfortable - the one thing you don't want to do to them is to make them feel that you are superior to them by your actions or dress.

| Michelle Photo-OpBama was sure she was wearing her designer tennies at her appearance to this occasion. If it were a fundraiser full of wealthy folks, her choice of footwear might have been better. However for her to show up in shoes that cost $500 was actually pretty cruel. It's like saying "I'm not worried about where my next meal is coming from like some of these people are, can you tell by my expensive shoes? As I said before, it's like dripping in diamonds while serving in a soup kitchen. Who does that? I mean, her little outfit was pretty basic--J. Crew. Not a big deal. Perfect for the occasion. So why the need to wear expensive shoes to such an event?

Maybe, maybe not. Just because somebody may be homeless doesn't necessarily make them stupid. They have eyes and they have ears and you can say what you want about it, but it's insulting to those who they are promising a fair shake. What happened to all that trash talk about the "EVIL FILTHY RICH" on here?? What about the shoe controversy of John McCain vs the good ole regular BHO wearing moderate priced shoes?? It's always different somehow and forgive me for this.....when the shoe is on the other foot ....isn't it??

Couture: Double Standard??
Michelle Malkin
Michelle Obama was stylin' in her $540 French sneakers during a volunteering photo-op at a Washington, D.C., food bank this week. Her suede and patent trainers from the house of Lanvin are apparently all the rage among the celebrity set. Who knew there were sneakers out there that cost as much as many Americans' monthly rent?
Don't misunderstand: I don't begrudge the first lady her fashion options. But I do begrudge the Obamas for their double standards when it comes to the flaunting of wealth -- and the earning of it.
Obama's supporters at the liberal Huffington Post website devoted an entire slideshow to John McCain's $520 Ferragamo loafers. CNN piled on with a feature on McCain's "well-heeled campaign." The "report" contrasted McCain's Italian footwear with Obama's "average guy" shoes.
Will they show the same indignation toward the first lady?
During the campaign season, President Obama sneered at McCain's houses. "John McCain has seven homes. There's just a fundamental gap of understanding between John McCain's world and what people are going through every single day here in America," Barack the Ordinary Guy scoffed. "You don't have to be a Nobel Prize-laureate economist, you just have to have a little bit of a sense of what ordinary people are going through to understand that we can't afford eight more years or four more years or one more year of the failed economic policies that George Bush has put in place."
Let's put aside the fact that many of the same Wall Street moneymen that engineered the corporate bailouts are now in charge of steering the same big government policies that Bush put in place.
And let's put aside the fact that Clinton crony turned congressman turned investment guru turned Obama crony and White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, no average Joe, made millions profiting off the corporate/government revolving door -- including an easy $320,000 from mortgage giant Freddie Mac simply for phoning it in over a 14-month period.
And let's put aside the fact that top White House economic adviser Lawrence Summers received about $5.2 million over the past year in compensation from hedge fund D.E. Shaw, and also received hundreds of thousands of dollars in speaking fees from major financial institutions.
The Obamas have devoted much of their public lives to reviling others who elect to make money in the private marketplace. Mrs. Obama bragged during the campaign: "We left corporate America, which is a lot of what we're asking young people to do," she tells the women. "Don't go into corporate America. You know, become teachers. Work for the community. Be social workers. Be a nurse. Those are the careers that we need, and we're encouraging our young people to do that. But if you make that choice, as we did, to move out of the moneymaking industry into the helping industry, then your salaries respond."
"Don't go into corporate America"? Easy for you to say. Mrs. O parlayed her brief stint as a corporate attorney into a cascading series of ever more lucrative positions and promotions in the "helping industry." She has made much of her "sacrifice." But her feet don't seem to be suffering one bit.

Everyone on this blog has suffered through countless of your ugly, angry, petty, vicious, psycho spewing attacks...so what's your point? This is a public forum...people are allowed to post their opinions and concerns. You started the food fight, island girl...so you can stop it.
Island girl? ????????
Now that was just plain mean big booty, I thought Hill's pantsuits were lovely. You shouldn't make up stuff like that. Again, you all seem to be missing the point but then what would be new about that? Since "Island girl" admits to not being an expert on just about anything, why would we expect her to know this isn't my news, I didn't take the picture, this is all over the networks? (pssst, just a tip. You sounded a little whiney in your 'rant' just now, really.)
But if you were homeless and hungry and the person who professes they will save you from such humilation by REMAKING AMERICA so you can make as much as everyone else then pops in with $540 sneakers to feed you, it would seem a little disingenuous to me, but maybe that's just me.
I personally could care less about how many $540 pairs of shoes Michelle has but if you think this is the only pair of expensive designer shoes she has or designer clothes that could keep most people in bread and peanut butter for years, you are in denial. They should just walk the talk, that's all I'm saying or stop lecturing us how we need to "tighten our belts". I don't know how to explain this to you and gemmy in any simpler terms, I hope this helped.
BTW big booty, is BO's leash diamond studded? Because if it is, I probably will point that out as another "don't do as I do, do as I say" moment.

I just knew it! RAZ bought a pair of those sneakers and paid more then the First Lady paid. RAZ your's were probably knock-off's anyway. You don't seem like the type of person who would pay retail for anything. That is why RAZZY is so bitter about the sneakers and had to post it.Last edited on Sun May 3rd, 2009 04:05 pm by

How is this any different then those on here that called Ms. McCain a drug addict or Sarah Palin trailer trash? It seems to me that only someone extremely shallow would stoop to this level as well!

I do believe you people have missed the point. It's not me standing up in front of the cameras every day sternly lecturing America how we need to "tighten our belts" and keep sending all of our hard earned cash to the liberal Congress to spend willy nilly with no accountability. That is what Barack Hussein Obama does every single day. He tells us how tough things are going to be, how we are going to have to take responsibility, how we are going to have to make serious sacrifices and my main point is....how he wants to make "America" fair and spread the wealth.
Then in bops betty lou with her new pair of $540.00 of tennis shoes to feed the "poor". The irony just was too rich to pass up.
It's hard to ignore the opportunities BHO presents on a regular basis of his "Don't do as I do, do as I say" style of leadership. It's absurd.

You really are a bitter person RAZZY. You never seem to amaze me with your fribolous ranting. Now you have stooped to worrying about what the First Lady is wearing.
BTW She still has the money in the bank to buy and sell you and that is without her husbands paycheck.
This is what I don't get about you people. I posted a real photo of the First Lady, it's a real news story, it's all over the net and yet you point the personal attack finger at me for just posting it. I didn't wear the stupid $500 pair of designer shoes to go feed the homeless, MICHELLE MY BELLE OBAMA did that. So how does that make me "bitter"? You have a very strange thought process gemster.
There is no ranting, there is nothing "fribolous" about anything I said. It's tacky and low class to flaunt your wealth in front of those who could live for a month off what her shoes cost and I stand by the statement.
As far as Michelle having her own money, she didn't start making any money until her husband got elected to the State Senate then the hospital where she worked doubled her salary, and what do you know, they received some additional state funding, I'm quite sure that was a coincidence.
But if you actually listened to her whining about she shouldn't have to pay back her student loans while she was complaining on the campaign trail about what a "downright mean Country America is in 2008" or how "she has never been proud of her Country in her entire adult life until now" then you get how shallow she really is. And I was just pointing that FACT out gemmy. Don't get your little self in a big old huff just because somebody calls this pair on their "don't do as I do, do as I say" mantra. They are the ones who sound bitter, not me.
No RAZZY you are very BITTER and you slam everything and everyone. The only person here that is shallow is you.
So what she bought a pair of sneakers. I personally think they are ugly but that is me. She happens to like them and she can afford them so whats the big deal.
But for some reason you feel it is your responsibility to bash her for buying them. WHY? Do you have a pair and the person who sold them to you, told you they were one of a kind? Or maybe you paid $600.00 for yours and you are mad she only paid $450.00. You cry about everything and anything.
First of all, Gem, Raz already said he/she only posted an article seen elsewhere. Second of all, I don't see anywhere in that message a complaint about the value of the shoes. She's a well dressed lady and that's to be expected.
However-don't you think it's a little wrong to go to a homeless shelter in $500 shoes? That's the point I took from this article. Where did you see Raz complain about the fact that Michelle Obama even owns these shoes? Did I miss it somehow?

First Lady Michelle Obama steps out in Lanvin sneakers and they're only $540!

And they are just stupid sneakers. Bet she didn't wear those when she was a Community Organizer's wife. She has definitely hit the jackpot hasn't she?? There isn't anything they can't do now, again, on taxpayers money, no bills to pay, the sky is the limit. It's more of that "don't do as I do, do as I say" thing. We are seeing a lot of that.

Who goes to help at a homeless shelter in $500 sneakers? That's a bit ostentatious don't you think? Yeah, I think I will go help in a soup kitchen dripping in diamonds. That's a good idea!
The comment wasn't about whether or not she could afford it. It's a matter of what's right. Remember when Barack was the President-elect and all of the media was talking about how she can wear designer clothes and The Gap clothes with the same ease? If I were helping at a homeless shelter, I think I'd be wearing my "Keds" or something less flashy, but that's just me and I'm a whole lot more humble than they are. She's out of touch with reality if she really thinks it's a good idea to wear expensive ANYTHING around a bunch of poor people. These people are all about show. Where's the substance?
I really don't care if she owns a pair of those shoes. It's entirely possible that they were given to her by the designer. Either way, why would she wear them to a place where people have nothing? You really see absolutely NOTHING wrong with that? Sheesh, can't you even criticize ANYTHING about the Obamas? I bet if Laura Bush did that you would be all over her.

Obama's high court choice could be Hispanic, woman
President Barack Obama pledged Friday to name a Supreme Court justice who combines "empathy and understanding" with an impeccable legal background to succeed liberal David Souter, whose abrupt retirement announcement set off speculation the next justice could be a woman, a Hispanic or both.

Obama hopes to replace Justice Souter by October
President Barack Obama said today he will replace retiring Supreme Court Justice David Souter with someone who shares the president's respect for "constitutional values" and hopes to have "him or her" seated on the nation's highest court by the start of the next term in October.
Obama has respect for constitutional values??? Hmm

So what's your point or do you have one?? Do you really believe I would have been supporting Barack Hussein Obama at that juncture? We only had two candidates to choose from and support so I did what I had to do. Should I have said "I think McCain is going to lose?" I should have said "he should cheat too and maybe he would have a better chance at winning" since it worked so well for BHO.
But more importantly, why are spending your time going through old posts of mine, that's a little creepy don't you think?? Is this how you deal with your 'fading away'??
Obsessed??

You are right Craig. For someone to expose our CIA techniques to the world, to expose those who made the decisions to keep us safe from further attack immediately following 9-11 to use as a political weapon is beyond repugnant, it's treasonist. If Barack Hussein Obama goes forward with releasing the photos for our enemies to use against us to further harm us, he should be held personally responsible for each and every death because of his poor judgment and self centered decision making. BHO is the only one who can release them, it's his decision alone not the Attorney General's. It will be American's blood on his hands alone that will make the Iraq war look like a walk in the park in comparison. This will be his legacy, not his pretty teleprompter talk.
If he goes through with this atrocity, he should be brought up for impeachment. He's done enough damage to our Country already.

Sooner or later you folks are going to have to take a stand, love your country or luv BHO but it's becoming increasingly clear you can't luv both and be on the same page. He is becoming more and more partisan everyday and in doing so is doing great damage to our Country. Being an American and understanding we need to do what's best for our Country regardless of party has to come into play at some point.
