President Obama didn't wait long after Tuesday's devastating elections to give critics another reason to question his leadership, but this time the subject matter was more grim than a pair of governorships.
After news broke out of the shooting at the Fort Hood Army post in Texas, the nation watched in horror as the toll of dead and injured climbed. The White House was notified immediately and by late afternoon, word went out that the president would speak about the incident prior to a previously scheduled appearance. At about 5 p.m., cable stations went to the president. The situation called for not only his trademark eloquence, but also grace and perspective.
But instead of a somber chief executive offering reassuring words and expressions of sympathy and compassion, viewers saw a wildly disconnected and inappropriately light president making introductory remarks. At the event, a Tribal Nations Conference hosted by the Department of Interior's Bureau of Indian affairs, the president thanked various staffers and offered a "shout-out" to "Dr. Joe Medicine Crow -- that Congressional Medal of Honor winner." Three minutes in, the president spoke about the shooting, in measured and appropriate terms. Who is advising him?
Anyone at home aware of the major news story of the previous hours had to have been stunned. An incident like this requires a scrapping of the early light banter. The president should apologize for the tone of his remarks, explain what has happened, express sympathy for those slain and appeal for calm and patience until all the facts are in. That's the least that should occur.
I didn't hear President Procrastinator's "heartfelt" sadness over the Muslim attack on our valued soldiers yesterday. Is that true?? Was that really how he handled this situation?? You know, he does apologize to those who are responsible for our "man made disasters" a.k.a. the cowardly TERRORISTS so maybe. Does it get anymore disgusting than that though? Surely that can't be right...

Obama: A Man Apart
by Herbert London
Albert Camus was expert at describing a man apart, an
existential man The Stranger, who didn't belong in the
society in which he found himself. He didn't have emotional
roots; in fact, this character was haunted by shadows -- the
real and the metaphorical. He is the quintessential rebel
challenging normative standards.
At the risk of drawing literary comparisons, I am persuaded
based on his performance that President Obama is a man
apart. He seems to equate power with arrogance; pride with
willfulness and exceptionalism with dominance. As a
consequence, he has changed foreign policy perceptions. The
America he leads is a nation like any other -- no more, no
less. In fact, as a Nobel laureate, he is considered by the
Europeans as a man of the world, not merely a citizen of the
United States.
When asked if the United States is exceptional, President
Obama said America is exceptional and England is exceptional
and Greece is exceptional. That the United States is sui
generis didn't cross his mind. How could it? He is pledged
to a scenario in which America opts out of its traditional
role as peace keeper, the balance wheel in maintaining
international equilibrium. The war against terrorists is
over along with the nation's hegemonic role.
Unfortunately the war fatigue President Obama embodies is
not embraced by our global enemies who see this shift in his
policy attitude as a sign of weakness and retreat. I believe
President Obama actually thinks that unilateral concessions
to our real and putative enemies will result in reciprocal
responses. But as his bizarre overtures to the Olympic
Committee demonstrated, gestures directed at multilateralism
and celebrity status do not result in favorable results.
Real power as opposed to soft power still has meaning on the
world stage.
A man with roots would know that wild policy swings of the
kind that we've experienced with healthcare, cap and trade
and education proposals cannot possibly fly, with the
American people, even with those who voted for President
Obama in the last election. Despite cultural shifts in the
nation, the United States still fashions itself as a
conservative nation. Only a man apart cannot sense that
condition.
My contention is not that the president is devoid of
conviction. In fact, his political tilt is decidedly to the
left, the hardcore left. My assertion is different. I
believe this president doesn't understand the rhythms, the
pulse of the American people. He is not merely outside the
main stream. He doesn't even recognize it. He is a
basketball player who has been asked to bat.
At first I thought his initial popularity would carry him
through to a second term. But as each day passes and the
false, almost inappropriate, gestures register Americans are
beginning to recognize this man apart. He is our stranger in
a land he doesn't understand.
Americans are not war-like, nor does imperial ambition fill
their soul. They have done almost nothing for which daily
apologies are necessary. Their blood soaks the beaches of
Normandy, their graves litter European towns. And their
fortune saved millions from the plight of destitution.
Americans do not appreciate a man so removed from their
history, so out of tune with the American experience, that
he reflexively expresses regret for the very conditions that
should engender pride.
Perhaps this president will learn. But I am not confident
that can happen. His life experience without a father in his
home and a mother seeking adventure abroad is unstable. His
closest associates vilified the nation he now leads. Is it
any wonder his wife said she could take no pride in America
till now? The past is to be rejected. Milestones in history
are erased from memory as storage cast aside as unnecessary.
This is a unique moment in our history. It is certainly the
only time in my life when our national instincts are being
reconditioned. From a nation that was a model to the world,
we are now told that superiority is unbecoming, a hindrance
for the emergence of global egalitarianism.
President Obama, as a man apart, may attempt this recasting
of America, but, as I see it, America is not yet ready for
his experimentation and, most likely, never will be.

That's because it's not Barack Hussein Obama who is running the show. His radical friends, extremists in every sense of the word, are making the decisions and pulling the purse strings that keep him in limbo. He is not ready for prime time so he is relying on others to tell him what to do and they aren't good resources. They are anti-America anything, they are anti-war (too late for that one folks, we are already in two and they need to be fought to win) and they want to fundamentally TRANSFORM AMERICA to something altogether different than what we are now and have been our entire history. I don't think there is a big mystery here as to why President Procrastinator can't make a decision, he's d**ned if he does and he's d**ned if he doesn't so he is choosing to do nothing and play instead.
Just curious, PP has made a half dozen trips back and forth to New Jersey in the past couple of weeks, I wonder if he will find the time to go to New York to honor the USS New York while it's there? He has already turned down an invite from Angela Merckle to go to Germany to celebrate the anniversary of "tearing down the Berlin Wall" he told her he was too busy. He could drop everything and run over to Copenhagen to make a fool of himself and our Country but not to be the leader by representing our great Nation to acknowledge a history changing event. Maybe he doesn't like the idea that President Reagan was credited for the Wall coming down, now that was some real leadership. Nobody questioned what he stood for, I think Barry could take some serious lessons from him.
These people need to get over themselves and get over the hate everything republican. The CAMPAIGN IS OVER. He is the leader of everyone in our Country, not just liberals.

A year ago today Barack Obama was elected president. In one short year, Obama’s slogan has gone from “Yes We Can” to “Wow This Is Freakin’ Hard!”

LOL...charming and lusingit are truly on two different planes....that really is an oxymoron using the two in the same sentence.... Obnoxious maybe....uninformed...maybe.......simple.....most definitely....but charming...nah.
Well sadly, anything to do with either cement face Pelosi or out of touch Biden (as in out of touch with the planet), the BOTOX twins have everything to do with BOTOXINTHEBRAIN....obviously. FOR nancyfancypants to come out today and say somehow the elections last night was a win for Dems is just insane. The people are SPEAKING and the SPEAKER is tone deaf. But apparently so are her minions, you don't seem to get it either. WE THE PEOPLE still exist and WE THE PEOPLE do not want to be overtaxed, our freedoms taken from us and we still want to be in charge of our GOV not the GOV'T in charge of us. Call us radicals...LOL
Come on libbie-lusingit, that ain't rocket science. That is common sense and AMERICAN values. That is why we are the most powerful and the most sought after Country in the World...or at least we were. I'm not so sure now. I think President Procrastinator is losing the war for us and losing our world significance.
And they called President George W Bush dumb....???? At least he could make a decision and stand by it. The World respects that whether they agree or disagree with the decision, but they respect a decision maker. WE don't have one now. It takes courage to make a solid decision and stand by it. WE don't have any of that either.

| What I found astonishing is that President Obama said he was watching basketball and not watching anything about these elections. Then why on Gods green earth did he waste our taxpayers money by traveling to New Jersey to campaign, if he really didn't care. President Obama and his administration either think the public is very, very stupid or they really just don't have a clue.

Astonishing
Obama Election Defeat Termed 'Astonishing'Tuesday, November 3, 2009 11:16 PM
By: David A. Patten
The Obama freight train that has been steamrolling American politics ever since his election one year ago ran squarely into a political brick wall Tuesday night, as Democrats suffered stunning setbacks in the Virginia and New Jersey gubernatorial races.
The big surprise: New Jersey, a blue state where Obama invested significant political capital by pulling out all the stops to try to put incumbent Democratic Gov. Jon Corzine over the top.
The president personally campaigned for Corzine three times, taped "robocalls," and sent his vice president to make two more appearances.
Yet despite the president and vice president repeatedly putting their personal prestige on the line, and despite a $10 million Corzine advertising advantage, the incumbent was unable to turn back the wave of dissatisfaction with the economy and high property taxes.
"There is a reason Obama went in over and over in Virginia and New Jersey," Wall Street Journal columnist and author John Fund told Newsmax. "He was worried what this would do to spook Blue Dog Democrats on healthcare ... he was right to be worried."
TOP strategist Roger Stone told Newsmax "the bloom is off the Obama rose."
Even Democratic strategist James Carville says the results show the GOP is “all gassed up” and suggests the Republican sweep may undermine Obama’s legislative agenda, including his healthcare reform plans.
According to Fox News contributor and author Dick Morris, the result in New Jersey is "astonishing in a core Democratic state."
"It shows the apathy of the Democratic base, the erosion of the Democratic base, and the intensity of the Republican electorate," he told Newsmax.
With nearly all votes recorded, GOP challenger Chris Christie, 47, a former corruption-busting attorney general, becomes the first Republican in a dozen years to seize a statewide office in New Jersey.
Christie was declared the winner with 49 percent of the vote to Corzine's 45 percent. Corzine's defeat marked only the third time in the past 60 years that a governor in the Garden State lost re-election after only serving a single term.
Morris predicted, however, that it is the GOP sweep in Virginia of the Old Dominion's top three offices – governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general – that will have an even bigger impact on the nation's debate over healthcare and energy cap-and-trade.
In Virginia, Republican Bob McDonnell won the election over Democrat Creigh Deeds by a whopping margin of about 20 points. Obama, who handily carried both New Jersey and Virginia in November, had campaigned for Deeds as well.
"That sends a message to the 83 Democratic congressmen, who come from red states that [Sen John] McCain carried, and the 20-plus Democratic senators who come from those states. And that message is you cannot count on Obama to carry you through. If you vote for a healthcare proposal that people don't like, you are on your own. And if Obama couldn't bail out Corzine in a blue state, and he couldn't bail out Deeds in a borderline red state, he can't bail you out."
That, Morris said, will have a "big effect" on the debate over the Obama administration's big-government legislative programs. He says the election's impact could be "dramatic" on the administration, and adds: "In retrospect this really could be seen as the high water mark of the Obama administration."
Morris said the results signal the entire health care package, not just the public-option aspect of it, is in trouble.
"Obama until now has not cared what the American people think. His whole approach has been just trust me, I won the election, and all the rest of you can get lost. I think after tonight he can't say that anymore."

Playing Basketball?
Hours after urging reporters not to draw sweeping conclusions from Tuesday's gubernatorial elections in New Jersey and Virginia, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs told POLITICO President Barack Obama wasn't even keeping an eye on the results.
"He's not watching returns," Gibbs said.
The Obama administration and other top Democrats have consistently tried to play down the import of this week's contests, which Republicans have sought to portray as a referendum on the Democratic-led government in Washington.
In Tuesday's White House press briefing, Gibbs dismissed suggestions that the two governor's races and a special election in upstate New York could be a preview of the 2010 congressional midterms.
"I don't think, looking at the two gubernatorial races, you can draw with any great insight what's going to happen a year from now," he said.

Obama And Special Interests
Obama and 'Special Interests'
Campaign contributors hold critical posts in the administration, while those who didn't donate a single cent are barred from service.
- JOEL JANKOWSKY
For the past nine months, the Obama team has waged a campaign of political convenience against lobbyists.
Its policies against so-called special interests include: a refusal to accept lobbyists' campaign contributions, a ban on employing lobbyists within the administration, discouraging lobbyists' contact with government workers, new rules that will result in the public disclosure of every lobbyist who visits the White House, and a directive to exclude lobbyists from serving on department and federal agency boards and commissions.
All of this is meant to give the impression of purity. But this is illusory. At the same time that the White House has demonized lobbyists, it has allowed itself to be infiltrated by a different army—one made up of campaign contributors. These individuals can breeze past defenses designed to repel lobbyists.
Campaign contributors, especially those who bundled large contributions from others, have been embraced by this administration. Because they aren't formally registered or regulated in the way lobbyists are, they enjoy the benefits and privileges of serving in the heart of the administration. These contributors serve in critical foreign and domestic policy positions, as well as department and agency boards and commissions. Dozens of Obama for America National Finance Committee members have joined the administration. Most of them raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the campaign, according to the watchdog group the Center for Responsive Politics.
This inconsistent treatment does a disservice to federal policy making. Talented women and men who registered themselves as lobbyists under the Lobbying Disclosure Act are being excluded from contributing their expertise at a critical time in our nation's history.
The irony of this ploy is that it discriminates against those individuals with the greatest obligations of transparency: lobbyists who register and file quarterly reports on their activities, as well as biannual reports on their political contributions. These are all publicly available. Instead, the White House favors individuals such as political contributors who have no obligation whatsoever to inform the public of the interests they represent in their interactions with the administration.
What's more, this administration's treatment of lobbyists has only decreased openness in the policy-making system. Lobbyists are now limiting their activities and deregistering themselves in order to avoid being stigmatized.
If the administration truly wants to address its stated concerns about the influence of special interests, it should focus on what the public actually cares about: the influence of money on the policy-making process. Excluding and disadvantaging professional advocates who have not given any money to the president's campaign while giving campaign contributors a free pass is bad policy.
The White House has repeatedly claimed that it wants "to change the way business is done in Washington." If the Obama administration is serious about this goal, it should apply the same rules to those who raised over $10,000 for the president's campaign that already apply to lobbyists who did not contribute a cent.

Prepare Yourself for the Blog Bullies
by Lorelle VanFossen
In 2006, I wrote about copyright violations saying that it wasn’t a matter of if but when your content would be stolen. The same premise applies to blog bullies.
It’s not a matter of if a blogger will blog bad things about you but when.

It’s going to happen. It may have already happened. It’s happened to me plenty of times. So what do you do when someone makes fun of you, pokes at you, says hurtful or harmful things about you or your blog on their blog?
Have We Forgotten We Are Still Human?
For a while, the natural tendencies towards evil in humans appeared to be suspended in the virtual world of the Internet. During the beginning years of email, Usenet, and online forums, people realized that what they were experiencing was precious – life changing – connecting with people of all ilks around the world from the comfort of their home or office. We treated each other, and this new technology, with respect. Sure, there was always porn and advertising scams in the background, but they were in the background and consumed little of our energy. We thrived on high moral values and self-confidence through this new medium of communication. It was special.
Somewhere along the line, we lost the special. The masses started to show up and brought their nasties with them. Long time web users were stunned, and new web users were often angry and humiliated, feeling helpless against the bullies.
Well, guess what, folks. Bullies have always been around. They are not a new phenomenon on the web. We had bullies in the playground and now the playground is virtual, bullies will be found.
I’m not talking about opinionated folks who love to shoot off their mouths on our blogs. I’m talking about downright mean – purposefully mean – folks who just get a thrill out of saying something nasty when silence or “thank you” could be their better part of valor.
A lot of bloggers who blog about blogging and speaking out about the “meanies” on the web, acting surprised and shocked that people would be so vicious. Where have you been? Have you forgotten that the web was created by and used by humans? Humans bring their nasties with them no matter where they go. The more gather, the more nasties.
Since being mean is part of human nature, don’t be surprised when it appears on your blog. Be prepared.
Preparing for the Nasties in Your Blog Experience
As the web became more accessible and easier for anyone and everyone to get online, anyone and everyone did, and moral values seemed to fly out the window. Today, it’s not just typical to say nasty things about other bloggers and people, it’s expected. People get traffic for taking competing bloggers on, and some even win big when bashing celebrities, if they play the game right.
Here are a few things you need to know to prepare your blog for the nasties.
- Have a Solid Comment Policy: Have a comments policy in place that sets the ground rules. Put a link to it near your comments form. Anyone breaks the ground rules, the policy establishs the consequences. Respond accordingly, and consistently.
- Be Prepared to Edit Comments: There are a lot of reasons to edit blog comments, and editing nasties is your right. If what they say is valid, but you feel they are abusing your comments by soliciting or comment-link-bait, such as putting nicknames and search term keywords in the comment name and links in the comment area, edit the comment, change the name, and remove the link but leave the words. If they are being really abusive, delete it. If they are using swear words or language you do not allow, edit it with asterisks (f***) or dashes (s—) or use a synonym. It’s your blog, edit the comments as suits your comments policy because comments are content, and you have as responsibility to your readers.
- Nasites Brings Traffic: It’s an old ploy. The Hatfields and McCoys for bloggers. Two bloggers battle each other on their blogs all to drive traffic. Sometimes it is planned, sometimes not. Either way, both parties can benefit if they play the game carefully and right. If you think another blogger is abusing you to drive traffic to or from your site, carefully consider how far you want to play their game. It could help, or hurt, you and your blog. Your blog reputation is at stake and if your readers detect that this is a game, you can lose some serious credibility.
- Prepare Your Response: There are many ways to comment, and many ways to respond to comments on your blog. You can choose to say nothing, say something, take an aggressive stance, or defensive, or say thank you – at least you got a comment. Think back through your life on how you responded when someone was nasty. How did you respond? Did you wish you had responded differently? A blog comment doesn’t need a response NOW. It can wait. Put it in moderation and think about it for a while until YOU are ready to respond.
- Prepare for Opposition: If you put an opinion out there, someone will have the opposite opinion. Be ready for it. Some may feel so strongly against your stance, they will challenge you on their blog. Be ready for it. Let this evolve into a debate of ideas not a bashing of heads. Be willing to let your views be known and to argue and defend your point, but keep your temper in check. Sure, there are dummies out their, ignorant fools who don’t see the world as we do – which is the ONLY way to see it, of course – so let them have their day in the sun and you can have yours, and let the world judge you by your behavior, as well as your opinion, fairly.
- Prepare for the Pain: The nasties hurt. They can hurt really bad. They will come. Are you ready? Remember, these are just words – think sticks and stones may break my bones – and it is up to you to control how much influence they will have on you. Be strong. Resistance is not futile.
- Seek Support Privately: You are not alone. I do not recommend blogging about the specifics of a blog bully attack, as that often feeds their need for attention, justifying their continued bulling. If you must blog, blog carefully. Or talk to your blogging friends privately, asking for support. Many of us have been through blog bullies and know how you feel.
- Don’t Misinterpret Zealous for Nasty: It is easy to get over-sensitive to comments and misinterpret too many comments or a zealous commenter as a spammer. Slow down and check things out. If you are still in doubt, contact the commenter and say thank you, asking their intentions or if they need help. You might find a bully lurking, but more likely someone who doesn’t know they did wrong.
- Not Every Copyright Violator is a Criminal: The first time your blog content is ripped off, it’s a stunner. You feel violated. After the sixth, tenth, twentieth time, you want to hit back. Yes, content theft is becoming rampant but not every blogger who abuses your copyright is a bully. Some of the time they are just naive people who don’t know any better. Be careful in your initial approach to test the waters before you bring in the big guns. And remember, content theft will happen. Be prepared.
- You May Be The Bully: Have you thought about how your blog’s opinions, your blogging voice, how you respond in comments, or how you comment on other blogs could be interpreted as bullying? Maybe you might be the blog bully? It’s hard to play nice-nice all the time, and sometimes we let our emotions move faster than our brains. Never forget that once it is on the web, it’s there forever – well, almost forever. It’s really hard to take it back. Think first, type second.

What is sad about that goldrush is I even believed him when he was saying those things and it made me angry at the republicans for not saying it first. I really had no idea how off the tracks this guy was with the truth.
Interesting how he states that he would not tolerate any sort of "corporate welfare" denigrating those evil people...and yet the very man he is stumping for not once but three times in New Jersey, is a BILLIONAIRE all made while working on WALLSTREET. I thought this administration hated people like that???? But instead, President Procrastinator has flown to New Jersey to stand side by side Jon Corzine, WallStreet executive extraordinaire. There are Obama/Corzine signs all over New Jersey. Why is he hanging his hat on that slime ball?? Partisan politics, always trumps what is best for the folks.
This isn't my quote...but it's my adaptation of it. Funny-sad how it fits this president, administration and his sheep...like a glove!
Once someone becomes a leader of the high LWAs' in-group, he can lie with impunity about the out-groups, himself, whatever, because he knows the followers will seldom check on what he says, nor will they expose themselves to people who set the record straight. Furthermore they will not believe the truth if they somehow get exposed to it, and if the distortions become absolutely undeniable, they will rationalize it away and put it in a box. If the scoundrel’s duplicity and hypocrisy lands him on the front page of every daily in the country, the followers will still forgive him if he just says the right things.

| President Barack Obama made a surprise visit to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware as the remains of 18 soldiers and DEA agents returned to America from Afghanistan. Mr. Obama called it a "sobering reminder" as he weighs the U.S. strategy there. Hmm.

BigSurprize wrote: Maybe Fox News Isn't Obama's Problem
Monday, October 26, 2009 By Mike Huckabee
President Obama seems to be really unhappy with Fox News and has added us to his enemies list, which includes just about everyone who disagrees with his policies. He is taking this very personally and seems to be so stressed because not everyone has a tingle going up his leg when he talks.
Now, at the risk of offending some of my wonderful colleagues here at Fox News, I want to express some concern for the president -- even though he isn't expressing any for Fox News.
This executive job seems to have him frazzled and angry, but we need to go easy on him; after all, he's never done this kind of work before. He's never run a state or a private company or, best we can tell, even a Sno-Cone stand, so running the whole country is a big leap from community organizing and campaigning for public office.
The president ought to relax a bit more -- you know, play some golf. But oh, that's right, he already does that, pretty much every week.
Maybe he ought to spend more time with his wife. Oh, you know, good for him, he's doing that, too — even flying up to New York City on Air Force One for a date night and taking in a show and dinner.
Maybe kicking back with some buddies would help? But then, he's done that "beer summit" thing with the cop and the professor.
I'm sure it gets lonely in the White House at night, all shut up in there with nothing to do. But wait, he's been hosting a bunch of parties and dinners, so that can't be it.
Maybe he's mad at Fox News because we keep reminding him of all those promises he made and forgot to keep — like having a transparent government and putting the health care discussions with all the stakeholders on C-SPAN, but then holding the meetings behind closed doors. Or the promise that he wouldn't have a bunch of lobbyists running his government, but dangit, that's about all he does have running his government.
We have been kind of tacky in running those clips where he promised he'd put bills on the Internet for five days before his signed them; promised that he'd do whatever it took to win in Afghanistan; promised that if he got that big fat porkulus bill passed, we'd save the economy and keep unemployment under eight percent; promised to close Gitmo; promised to be post-partisan and inclusive in all his policies and decisions.
But Fox News didn't make those promises, President Obama did.
Maybe he's feeling a bit guilty about all the stuff he promised to do and then didn't and we keep bringing it up. If that's the case, there's only one thing that will help and Fox News can't fix it: Maybe he just needs to accept responsibility for his own speeches and if he can't do everything he promised, then just say so.
That's the lesson we all learn in church and he promised that one of the first things he'd do when he got to Washington was find a church. He hasn't done that either and maybe that, not Fox News is the problem. He may never find a preacher as gentle and sweet-spirited as Reverend Jeremiah Wright, but we hope he can make peace with himself and then maybe he can make it with Fox News.
Outstanding article. Couldn't have said it better myself. It's a sad day in America when people have to fill in their own blanks as to why this Prez can't seem to find his niche and be a strong leader like we are accustomed to. Even as busy as President Clinton was, he had time to make decisions -- I did hear he was a mutli tasker however...perhaps that is President Procastinator's problem, he isn't.
Uhhhh, never thought I would say this but Hillary would have made a better Prez because she doesn't take prisoners. She isn't about to wait around for someone else to do it, she would jump in with both feet before allowing that to happen. Maybe that is why her approval numbers are higher than Barry's....do you think??

You have to wonder - where is all this money coming from!! A billion here, a billion there and so on. The "only spend what you have" concept is something our President doesn't understand. President Obama, we are broke!!!
ARCADIA, Fla. – President Barack Obama made a pitch for renewable energy Tuesday, announcing $3.4 billion in government support for 100 projects aimed at modernizing the nation's power grid.

The libs are way more worried about him having "girls" playing with the boys than they are about him making some of the tough decisions and leading our Country. Man, wouldn't it be great to live on the planet of "ME"?

FORE!
President Barack Obama has only been in office for just over nine months, but he's already hit the links as much as President Bush did in over two years.
CBS' Mark Knoller — an unofficial documentarian and statistician of all things White House-related — wrote on his Twitter feed that, "Today - Obama ties Pres. Bush in the number of rounds of golf played in office: 24.
Took Bush 2 yrs & 10 months."
This news comes on the heels of today's news that Obama played golf with a woman — chief domestic policy adviser Melody Barnes — for the first time since taking office.
