Craig? if he represents only the people who voted for him, it counts since most Americans did vote for him...do you think bush represented most people who didn't vote for him?

| The 18-29 age voting bloc was more diverse than older voters—youth voters classified themselves as Hispanic/Latino, black, and gay, lesbian, or bisexual in much larger proportions than the electorate as a whole.

Not all kids go to college and live in dorms and live and breathe the indoctrination. Some go to work straight from h.s., some go into the military after college or in lieu of, and some kids pay attention to the example set by their parents, so not all 18-30 year olds are liberal, but you are right quite a good number are because they are told they need to be. The schools don't give them both sides of the story, they only give them one and tell them how bad the other is. That will destroy our democracy faster than all of our enemies put together, it's called destruction from within and it starts with our kids. Why do think BHO spent so much time campaigning to that age group? Because they are easily swayed by glitz, glamour and populism. He threw in just the right buzz words, he was young and cool and that's all it took. Unfortunately, not a great Leader doeth that necessarily make.
This kid is a great, great example of mush for brains.....

I don't believe that to be true at all. I think the GOP is going through the exact same thing that the DEMS did when they lost to President Bush. Whichever the losing party happens to be always has to regroup and come back. Everyone was saying exactly the same thing about the dems in 2000 and again in 2004. I was hoping they would stay that way forever because they were in really bad shape but sadly, they discovered the Internet and here we are today. It's cyclical.
Don't ever count out Conservatism. The young kids always start out Democrat because they are taught to be liberal in College, now even in high school since the elites can't seem to get the textbooks correct, it's called legalized indoctrination. But somewhere around the late thirties and beyond they start thinking for themselves once more and more times than not they switch. I myself was one of the noodle brains. Always thought the dems were the party of the underdog, well, that just isn't true anymore. They are the rich, they are the powerful, they are corrupt and they are the party that refuses to lift people up out of poverty, instead want to keep them there to keep them dependent on the politicians and government. You have to be a fool not to see how the Democratic party has evolved. They are out for themselves only, power and greed.
I think what we may be dealing with now and it is in both parties is the fact that most of our politicians have been in office way, way, way too long. They need to get out of there and make room for some new and fresh faces, voices and ideas. Our whole system is becoming tainted. JMHO

The GOP has already fallen apart. You have an amazing grasp of the obvious. They are in complete disarray and leaderless. They have only one option . . .

But the Republican party is falling apart and the younger Republicans are becoming independents and Democrats.
There was an article in the NYTimes recently that said Democrats outnumber those who said they were Republicans by 10% which is the largest gap in party affiliation in 25 years. So the gap is bigger because the GOP is getting smaller.
Today, 38 of Americans claim to be Democrats, 28 percent claim to be Republicans and 29 percent claim to be independents. Obama is slowly winning over those independents.
So it's the failures of the Republican party that is losing a whole generation. As long as they continue to be the Grand OLD Party, the gap will get bigger.

Obama: Most Polarizing President Ever
Monday, April 6, 2009 7:47 PM

In his first two months in office, President Barack Obama has succeeded in widening the political gulf among Americans more than any other president in modern history, according to a new poll. The "partisan gap" between Republicans and Democrats is 10 points larger than it was under George W. Bush.
The gulf – between Democrats and Republicans who say President Obama is succeeding – is also showing signs of further widening, according to a new Pew Research poll.
The poll indicates that 88 percent of Democrats approve of the president's job performance, while just 27 percent of Republicans say the same thing – a 61-point difference.
By comparison, the gap for President George W. Bush at a similar point in his administration was 51 points. It was 45 for Bill Clinton, 38 for George H. W. Bush, and 46 for Ronald Reagan.
The Pew Research Center poll – a survey of polls six weeks into the Obama era – concluded that despite the frequent calls for bipartisanship, U.S. politics is more polarized than at any equivalent point in the past four decades.

Armenians Blast Obama for Failure to State GenocideTuesday, April 7, 2009 10:39 AM
By: Jim Meyers
An Armenian-American group that backed Barack Obama in the election is now urging its members to call the White House to protest the president’s failure to recognize the “Armenian genocide.”
As many as 1.5 million Armenians living within the Ottoman Empire perished beginning in 1915 as the Turks fought World War 1. Armenians and most historians regard the deaths as state-sponsored mass killings, or genocide, while Turkey insists the death were the result of a civil war coupled with disease and famine.
During his presidential campaign, Obama pledged to recognize the deaths as genocide. He spoke in a January 2008 statement of his “firmly held conviction that the Armenian genocide is not an allegation, a personal opinion or a point of view, but rather a widely documented fact supported by an overwhelming body of historical evidence.”
The Washington, D.C.-based Armenian National Committee of America endorsed Obama, delivering large blocs of votes in swing states and tens of thousands of dollars in campaign donations, according to Politico.com.
But at a Monday press conference with Turkish President Abdullah Gul and in a later address to the Turkish Parliament, Obama declined to recognize the Armenian deaths as genocide.
Obama “missed a valuable opportunity to honor his public pledge to recognize the Armenian genocide,” Aram Hamparian, executive director of the Armenian National Committee, said in a statement.

| You said the launch was a failure, but one has to also take into consideration - it went farther than any missile they have launched to date - which kind of makes it a success as well.

A multilateral test ban treaty? A nuclear arms free world? Sure. That’s in creditably naive. It’s not a vision. It’s not a strategy. It’s a fairy tale. Kim Jong Il, Ahmadinejad, Hu Jinato, Putin (Putin is running the show, not Medvedev) are laughing their a$$es off.
The launch was a failure but you learn more from your failures than your successes. North Korea is not far away from having a deployable nuclear weapon and then the technology will be sold to Iran.
The United Nations Security Council, which has been meeting since Sunday, can’t even agree that North Korea violated any existing treaties. If anyone thinks you can successfully negotiate with North Korea, forget it. We’ve already tried that with six-party talks resulting in the easing of sanctions and what happened? North Korea proceeded with a missile launch this weekend. Hello! Last edited on Tue Apr 7th, 2009 12:25 am by

In fact Obama has appointed the Bush/Clinton crooks back into power to keep the Banking swindle covered up...

Hugh Hewitt...
We know that North Korea was working on some WMD program with the Syrians that caused Israel to blow it up. We know North Korea is helping the Iranians develop their nuclear weapons program. Sunday, North Korea sent a "communications satellite" across Japanese airspace into the Pacific Ocean. How does Barack Obama react? By giving a 'world without nuclear weapons' speech in Prague. Joe Biden warned in the campaign that it wouldn't be too long before the world tested Obama in a crisis, and in addition, we probably wouldn't like his response initially. Polling shows Biden got it right, to the country's peril.
Wow, he's got them shaking in their boots doesn't he? BHO talks his luvley flourishing rhetoric, peace in the world, The US will lead the way by tearing down our Nuclear Program and not funding our defense budget so all eyes of the world will know we are the good guys. We just want you to luv, luv, luv us. (gag) BHO no longer wants us to be the most "powerful" country in the world. Now I feel safer.
In the meantime, the lunatic Dictators are revving up their NUCLEAR ENGINES and ready to let em rip. Does anybody see the horrendous disconnect here? He's an inexperienced Community Organizer who has no clue how the world threats work, we can't even call them that anymore.
This is a reactive Administration not Proactive and we are in deep, deep trouble. BHO will wait until AFTER something happens, much like Clinton. He should have taken the lead on this threat from North Korea, shot it down, and it would have also sent a huge message to Iran. We aren't going to tolerate you threatening us or any other country with your long range missiles and we would have been well within our rights to do that. It had the potential of hitting our western shores, Alaska and Hawaii and nobody knew for sure what was in it. We could have done that and there wouldn't have been one thing North Korea could have done about it.
But this administration doesn't have the courage nor the will to combat our threats. He will wait until it's too late, then curl up in a corner with his blankie and suck his thumb. Our enemies sees this as a huge victory.

This coming from someone who can't put three words together coherently and invites posters to a dual. yeah, gemster, I'm listening to ya....LOL
BHO is a flim flam man. He is a circus performer. BHO is a liar. Barack Hussein Obama is an ANTI AMERICAN who learned his hatred from his Mother who got pregnant by a Muslim Kenya man who used and abused her, then she takes little Barry across the Ocean to live in Muslim land Indonesia and be raised by another man who was Muslim, have little Barry attend MUSLIM schools that taught him to HATE AMERICA, all White people are bad, and then when that isn't working so well, she ships him back to America to be raised by his left wing hippy dippy grandparents, more so than his hippy dippy mother who live in Hawaii that never fully feel they are part of AMERICA so they are resentful and angry and blame AMERICA for everything.
Then little Barry goes to schools who do not teach true American History, then he hits the streets and smokes dope, does Cocaine, buys from drug dealers and someone comes along and says hey, you are a nice looking guy I can make something of you. They enroll little Barry in school, pay for it and teach him Saul Alinsky Socialism methods. Once he graduates, he becomes a little Chicago thug style hate America Community Organizer and the rest is basically history.
Do I hate him??? Not really, not yet. But I do definitely HATE his belief system, his view of AMERICA and his agenda. Do I need help? No. Do those of you who have a rabid and out of control vitriolic hatred for anyone who disagrees with you need help, oh yeah. Gemmy, you might just be one of those. I'm not only available to you but free.

Hummydwig, those who live in glass houses should NEVER throw stones. I'm a little worried about you and some of your friends because you worry way too much about what is posted on this blog and about the posters. It's almost like they are in your head and we shouldn't be, that is not a good thing.
I should never be in anyone's head unless it's a good thing. I know George W Bush was your most hated person in the entire world, BDS, then when he went away, it became RUSH but then even you realized that was just stupid and now you've lowered yourself to me. I'm nobody sister, nobody. Get over the HATE CONSERVATIVE thing. We are just people like you and yours. Sometimes we have good ideas and are actually smart. HARD TO BELIEVE isn't it? But seriously, you are taking this blog really too serious, almost like your co-workers who don't want anything to do with you but HAVE to be nice to get along. Time to get a breath of fresh air, do something nice for someone, say a prayer and try to be a better person today that you were yesterday.
You will be okay. If you need any more counseling, feel free to call on me anytime. I will help you free of charge. It's a bad economy you know.

He was so mired in his UNITED TRINITY CHURCH of evil, of HATE AMERICA, of RETRIBUTION, there is going to be HELL to pay if Barack Hussein Obama who fully believes we owe every black man, woman and child in America and Africa. Think that's wrong or over the top?? Read his books. It's all in there baby. Read them and weep, you have elected a MONSTER.

They will fight to the end to put you down and get in the last word. But inside they are the ones that are suffering and scared. They don't know how to live in the real world. It's very sad because most bullies are really scared and depressed so they bully people to cover that up. I see a lot of frustration here. Sometimes I worry it will explode into something dangerous. I wouldn't want to hear that someone on this board lost it.
Bird, you should be very careful about talking about GEM and meatgoof (maybe luci and mama) that way because they are very sensitive and sometimes I worry about them killing their dog, not just kicking him. PETA would not like that.
I'm not quite sure what the "CLEAVER" thing is but it definitely sounds dangerous.
I agree, you have to watch out for these folks because they are so very unstable that anything could happen!!! Good thing we have you watching over all of us. Thank you............Are you just a freakin' nutcake or what??? I heard you are the most disliked woman in SCG and now I understand why. NO wonder nobody wants to sit by you in the lunchroom. You live in an alternative Universe that most clear thinking people are never invited into. For that we should be thankful.
President "I HATE AMERICA" but luv AFRICA is going to destroy us and our life as we know it. You can dish the crap out but you can't change the CHANGE he is forcing on our Country. So instead of challenging him, your mighty MESSIAH, you attack easy targets like me to vent YOUR frustrations. Well, guess what sister? You can blame me, you can insult me , you can do whatever you want, but it doesn't change what is happening. YOU have elected a very bad man to lead our Country. That is the bottom line. I'm not anti democrat in every aspect, but I am VERY anti SOCIALISM/COMMUNISM for sure. He is going to destroy us and your ginned up hatred for anyone who disagrees with Barack Huusein Obama is going to help it along. So keep up the good work, don't do any independent research on your own, just soak in that anti America poison and see where it lands us. You should be ashamed.

Exactly. Just read the posts. Every single one is a degragation of the poster. A defense mechanism to hide the insecurity and fear of the responder. Make it clear that "I'm bigger, smarter and better than you". Very sad.

Thats cause they themselves are one step away from braille.
How very un-politically correct that is to ridicule the blind luci, tsk, tsk, tsk. And you just blasted DM for the very same thing. Double speak at it's finest.
I fail to see (pun intended) where its a double standard. I didnt blast Dman it was a different conversation with Cindisue. Keep up Raz try not to make all this to confusing or you will babble ( too late ) !!!!
Really, you didn't blast DMan? Oh, thought that was what you were saying, I could be wrong...but it sounds fairly critical to me.
The joke posted by Dman was in question mainly for the poor taste and serious underlying hate it really spews out. Lets really burn our President, black leaders, gays and women. Where was that joke found? On the KKK home page? This joke is really bad taste.
Luci you are increasingly becoming more and more childish on here and must say it's not flattering. As much as I have NEVER agreed with you on just about ANYTHING I at least respected the way you communicated, but this stuff is so petty and childish and has NOTHING to do with current events and debate that I'm getting really bored with it. Your constant personal attacks are getting old too. You're starting to waste my time with this inane Pelosi. How about we get back on track and drop the junior high stuff?
Only when you do OH Blog Boss!!! Your attempt to control this blog to your taste is entertaining to say the least. Until you act like a grown up and stop with your personal attacks then maybe you would get the same in return. Plus go ahead and deny your actions Raz we all know better. Your the only one who doesnt see it and it will remain that way. So stop trying to tell others how to post when you cant do it yourself.
Plus burning people to death and a blind joke are a bit far off, and Dman has called me blind before( and I didnt blast him), so an eye for an eye and we all can be blind together...
Keep trying to think your above the rest when actually you are the playground bully on here....

W.H. team discloses TARP firm ties
By: Kenneth P. Vogel
April 3, 2009 10:49 PM EST
Lawrence Summers, a top economic adviser to President Barack Obama, pulled in more than $2.7 million in speaking fees paid by firms at the heart of the financial crisis, including Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Merrill Lynch, Bank of America Corp. and the now-defunct Lehman Brothers.
He pulled in another $5.2 million from D.E. Shaw, a hedge fund for which he served as managing director from October 2006 until joining the administration.
Thomas E. Donilon, Obama’s deputy national security adviser, was paid $3.9 million by the power law firm O’Melveny & Myers to represent clients including two firms that receieved federal bailout funds: Citigroup and Goldman Sachs. He also disclosed that he’s a member of the Trilateral Commission and sits on the steering committee of the supersecret Bilderberg group. Both groups are favorite targets of conspiracy theorists.
And White House Counsel Greg Craig earned $1.7 million in private practice representing an exiled Bolivian president, a Panamanian lawmaker wanted by the U.S. government for allegedly murdering a U.S. soldier and a tech billionaire accused of securities fraud and various sensational drug and sex crimes.
Those are among the associations detailed in personal financial disclosure statements released Friday night by the White House.
Presidential appointees are required to disclose information about their income, assets and investments, and those of their spouses and dependent children, within 60 days of starting work. And the disclosure forms filed by many appointees to top agency jobs have been available for public inspection for some time, thanks to the federal Freedom of Information Act.
But the White House is largely exempt from the act, and Obama press aides dragged their feet on reporters’ requests for the disclosure documents filed by officials in the Executive Office of the President.
Craig disclosed that his work for Williams & Connelly included representing Pedro Miguel Gonzalez Pinzon, a Panamanian lawmaker who allegedly murdered a U.S. soldier in 1992, as well as Gonzalo Sanchez de Lozada, a former Bolivian president who has lived in exile since 2003, when clashes between protesters and the Bolivian military killed an estimated 70 people and wounded hundreds more.
During the presidential campaign, Craig, then serving as a senior foreign policy adviser to Obama, drew flak for representing Sanchez de Lozada.
Craig also listed among his clients Henry Nicholas, founder of microchip maker Broadcom, who is facing securities fraud charges in an alleged stock option backdating plot. In June, the government unsealed an indictment also detailing a raft of drug and prostitution charges, which Craig called “a kitchen-sink attack on Dr. Nicholas.”
Valerie Jarrett, a senior Obama aide, reported $852,000 in salary and deferred compensation from Habitat Executive Services, a Chicago real estate development and management firm, plus nearly $350,000 in director’s fees from groups including the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and USG Corp.
She also indicated that she served as vice-chairwoman of the committee seeking to lure the 2016 Olympics to Chicago, which paid a public relations firm owned by Obama political guru David Axelrod and to which White House social director Desiree Rogers, another member of the Obama’s inner circle, donated more than $100,000.
Other forms showed that White House ethics lawyer Norm Eisen earned $1.3 million from the firm in which he was a partner, Zuckerman Spaeder, and press secretary Robert Gibbs earned $156,000 from Obama’s presidential campaign and also owns a pair of rental properties in Alexandria, Va., worth as much as $1 million.

I'm shocked, you would agree with hummingbird - just kidding, I don't think anyone is shocked by your comment. LOL
I'm just so flattered that my posts mean so much to hummingbird that she would try to change the meaning.
