Interesting. raz also preferred Romney, at least previously. You two appear to be at opposite ends of the spectrum, Republican-wise. How could this similarity in taste be?

WASHINGTON (CNN) – A new national poll indicates that more than seven out in 10 Republicans say they would seriously consider voting for Mike Huckabee for president in the next race for the White House, giving the former Arkansas governor more potential support than Sarah Palin, Mitt Romney, or any other Republican tested.
But the USA Today/Gallup survey released Wednesday morning also suggests that none of those potential Republican hopefuls could win the votes of a majority of all Americans if they won the GOP nomination in 2012.
The poll finds that 71 percent of Republicans questioned say they would seriously consider voting for Huckabee, the former governor of Arkansas and 2008 GOP presidential candidate.
"The latest CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll had Huckabee ahead of Palin and Romney in a head-to-head match-up among Republicans," says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. "So Huckabee not only has more support now, but the potential to gain even more backers that his possible opponents as 2012 approaches."

Looking at these parts of the article, I don't see why there's a problem. As the election draws nearer, a republican candidate (likely Huckabee) will emerge as the Republican front runner. I fail to see why this is news.

Wow what a choice for republicans. Half the group has a really bad reputation and poor track record. Having no clear candidate this late in the show has to be bugging them. As I recall, it was that wicked kind of comment that started our slug-fest...(she never learns)...so it's a good thing cindisue has improved "over the years" or there would have been another fire to put out! Since you responded to my post, I guess I have to question if you were referring to me when you said you both have attacked verbally, attempted to put out personal information and put out information that is not true.
1. I do not verbally attack or call names
2. I have never tried to out anyone on this site
3. I only post information that I feel is either my opinion or from what I feel is a trusted site - whether you feel it is true or not is a concern to you not me.
I too want this site to have some civility, but there are a number of posters on her that continually have to attack and call names, are always rude and never have any dialog with regard to a position; they get booted or banned and then come back with another name and they act the same way and get booted again and then come back on. Those people I totally ignore (I don't read their posts and I don't respond). I am hoping that the upgrade to the system will not allow someone who is banned or booted back on.

Instead of someone trying to change what others are doing on this site, why don't they clean up their own back yard. Many of those that are saying this site should be cleaned up are the ones that have continually called names, been rude and offered no dialog with regard to a topic. For someone to come on the site and say that because someone disagree with his/her opinions or morals or rantings, they should change their way of posting or stop posting is ludicrous to me. As I said before, no one is going to force me to stop posting or change how I post until this current Presidential administration overturns freedom of speech (which I am sure they have something in the works to do so).

| What amazes me is that anyone thinks they have the right to tell someone that they can post, how they should post, etc. If you don't like what someone is saying, the way they say it, do what I do - don't respond to those individuals. It is very simple and actually very easy to do. No one is going to dictate to me what to post, who to respond to, how to respond, etc., until the current administration or another down the line takes it away, there is still freedom of speech. I can't let this continue any longer....of course, we hired Bard...we brought him in from Chicago of all places and we have him put up in Scottsdale one of those reallly nice resorts...no, not that one, a better one...... the guy eats and eats but he's worth it...plus we're not paying a dime for his service..George Soros is.
