Nope, I think it's just terminology from that part of the country. I understood perfectly. It's wee wee there instead of pee pee, if you still don't understand. Your lesson for the day .

Aides: Biden may run in 2016
@ 11:25 am by Eric Zimmermann
Buried at the end of an LA Times profile of Joe Biden today is this nugget:
Aides said he might go for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016. He would be 74 upon taking office, but his staff insists that's not too old.
"He's incredibly fit, vigorous man of his age, and it's impossible for me to imagine that he won't be in public service in 2017 in some form," a Biden aide said.
It does seems a bit early for Biden's aides to be talking up 2016, even anonymously.
That certainly is what I would call "WEIRD" news. Didn't they say McCain was too old (I did)? And they are saying Biden is "incredibly" fit?? Hasn't he had several aneurysms? I've never seen a party that speaks out of both sides of their mouth as much as this one. I would love to see Biden run....we could see a constant loop of his GAFFES playing 24-7. Talk about entertainment. GO BIDEN..GO...is this because he did so incredibly terrible in his last quest for the Presidency, wasn't he last in votes?? Only Barack Hussein Obama would want him but that's because he is so inexperienced himself that Biden looked smart. I wonder what's he's thinking now?? LOL
Thanks for the laugh BigSurprize.

| It’s also hot down in Washington, D.C. It’s so hot, President Obama invited professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. and Sgt. James Crowley to the White House to run in the sprinklers.

Media Pro Obama?-- Nah..
NBC Hawks Pro-Obama Merchandise Online
Monday, August 17, 2009 7:32 PM
In what appears to be a blatant case of media bias, NBC’s online store has become a major distributor of pro-Obama T-shirts, DVDS and refrigerator magnets.
If you're a fan of all things Obama, NBC Universal's online store has no fewer than 29 options for your buying pleasure -- from a shirt with the president's picture proclaiming "YES WE DID"...to both of his books...to a special inauguration DVD...to a refrigerator magnet of the first couple, Fox News reports.
There’s even a Barack Obama Action Figure -- yours for $15, plus tax. All of this is available online or at NBC Universal's retail store in New York.

[size= Have you ever seen a WATER bridge over a river?] [size=

]Even after you see it, it is still hard to believe !
WaterBridge in Germany . What a feat!
Six years, 500 million euros, 918 meters long.......now this is engineering!
This is a channel-bridge over the River Elbe and joins the former East and West Germany ,
as part of the unification project. It is located in the city of Magdeburg , near Berlin .
The photo was taken on the day of inauguration..
To those who appreciate engineering projects, here's a puzzle for you armchair engineers and physicists ..
[size=QUESTION] :
Did that bridge have to be
designed to withstand the additional weight of ship and barge traffic, or just the weight of the water?
Answer:
It only needs to be designed to withstand the weight of the water!
Why? A ship always displaces an amount of water that weighs the same as the ship,
regardless of how heavily a ship may be loaded .[size=
Second time I've seen this one, but still unique!

Letter From The Boss:
As the CEO of this organization, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barrack Obama is our President and that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG way. To compensate for these increases, our prices would have to increase by about 10%. But since we cannot increase our prices right now due to the dismal state of the economy, we will have to lay off sixty of our employees instead. This has really been bothering me since I believe we are family here and I didn't know how to choose who would have to go.
So, this is what I did. I walked through our parking lots and found sixty 'Obama' bumper stickers on our employees' cars and have decided these folks will be the ones to let go. I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem. They voted for change, I gave it to them.
I will see the rest of you at the annual company picnic!

Barocky Road is a blend of half vanilla, half chocolate, and surrounded by nuts and flakes.
The vanilla portion of the mix is not openly advertised and usually denied as an ingredient.
The nuts and flakes are all very bitter and hard to swallow.
The cost is $100.00 per scoop.
When purchased it will be presented to you in a large beautiful cone,
but then the ice cream is taken away and given to the person in line behind you.
You are left with an empty wallet and no change, holding an empty cone with no hope of getting any ice cream.

This one is kind of funny. Minnesota Dems shot out a scathing propaganda piece against Republican Governor Tim Pawlenty and in the piece they posted a link that when opened showed a Chinese grandma learning English curse words. LOL Could that be one of those "what goes around comes around" moments we all talk about??

On “Nightline” President Obama said that since becoming president, he’s gone from praying only before bed to praying all the time. And it’s always the same prayer: “God, please don’t let Joe Biden say something stupid today.”

Police: Woman accused of killing newborn ate brain
by Paul J. Weber - Jul. 27, 2009 01:55 PMAssociated Press
SAN ANTONIO — A woman charged with murdering her 31/2-week-old son used a knife and two swords to dismember the child and ate parts of his body, including his brain, before stabbing herself in the torso and slicing her own throat, police said Monday.
Otty Sanchez, 33, is charged with capital murder in the death of her infant son, Scott Wesley Buchholtz-Sanchez. She was recovering from her wounds at a hospital, and was being held on $1 million bail.
San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said the early Sunday morning attack occurred a week after the child's father moved out. Otty Sanchez's sister and her sister's two children, ages 5 and 7, were in the house, but none were harmed.
Otty Sanchez's aunt, Gloria Sanchez, said her niece had been “in and out” of a psychiatric ward, and that the hospital called several months ago looking to check up on her. She did not elaborate on the nature of her niece's health problems.
“Otty didn't mean to do that. She was not in her right mind,” a sobbing Gloria Sanchez told The Associated Press on Monday by phone. She said her family was devastated.
McManus, who appeared uncomfortable as he addressed reporters, said Sanchez apparently ate the child's brain and some other body parts. She also decapitated the infant, tore off his face and chewed off three of his toes before stabbing herself.
“It's too heinous for me to describe it any further,” McManus said.
McManus described the crime scene as so grisly that police officers barely spoke to each other while looking through the house. Parts of the child were missing, including pieces that Sanchez allegedly ate.
“At this particular scene you could have heard a pin drop,” McManus said. “No one was speaking. It was about as somber as it could have been.”
Officers called to Sanchez's house at about 5 a.m. Sunday found her sitting on the couch screaming “I killed my baby! I killed my baby!” McManus said. They found the boy's body in a bedroom.
Police said Sanchez said the devil told her to kill her son and that she was hearing voices.
“It was a spontaneous utterance,” McManus said.
Police said Sanchez did not have an attorney, and they declined to identify family members who might speak on her behalf.
No one answered the door Monday at Sanchez's one-story home, where the blinds were shut. A hopscotch pattern and red hearts were drawn on the walk leading up to the house.
Neighbor Luis Yanez, 23, said his kids went to school with one of the small children who lived at the house. He said he often saw a woman playing outside with the children but didn't know whether it was Otty.
“Why would you do that to your baby?” said Yanez, a ti
re technician. “It brings chills to you. They can't defend themselves.”
Authorities said Sanchez and her sister took turns watching the baby Sunday morning, and that the boy was placed in Sanchez's care at about 1:30 a.m. Her sister discovered what happened about three hours later and called police.
Investigators are looking into Sanchez's mental health history to see if there was anything “significant,” and whether postpartum difficulties could have played a role in the attack, McManus said.
The killing called to mind the drowning of five children by their mother in the bathtub of their Houston-area home in 2001. Attorneys for the woman, Andrea Yates, said she suffered from severe postpartum psychosis and, in a delusional state, believed Satan was inside her and was trying to save them from hell. A jury found Yates not guilty by reason of insanity in 2006.

Maybe it would be appropriate to step back for a minute and put things and our place, relative to the totality and immensity of our known universe, in some perspective.
The picture below is of the planet Jupiter, taken July 19 by an amateur astronomer in Australia. It shows a dark spot, near the top (actually Jupiter's south pole), which is the impact "scar" left by a comet's or asteroid's collision with the planet that occurred within hours of the photo being taken. Actually, it is the disturbance to Jupiter's 50,000 mile deep gaseous atmosphere caused by the collision.
The disturbance is the same size as our earth!

The white spot just below and to the right of the dark collision spot described above is a rather common Jovian "storm", also the size of our earth. Also visible, in the darker band just below Jupiter's equator, are the so-called red spots (storms again, but discovered 300 years ago and still going strong!). The largest of the three, clearly visible here, is only twice the size of earth. Here's a close-up.

Contemplating what's going on in just our solar system, much less our galaxy or the known universe as a whole, makes some of the stuff we do, obsess on and fuss about here on our rock seem sort of petty and trivial in the obvious grand scheme of things.
Note: Exceptional photos of the universe from the Hubble telescope, etc. are posted daily by NASA. Some are absolutely breath-taking. A great site to bookmark and check out regularly. http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/archivepix.html

Kessler's Secret Service Book Creates Stir
A new book about the Secret Service by bestselling author and Newsmax Chief Washington Correspondent Ron Kessler hasn’t been released yet, but it’s creating quite a lot of buzz.
“In the President’s Secret Service: Behind the Scenes with Agents in the Line of Fire and the Presidents They Protect” goes on sale August 4th, but made top headlines in the New York Post today.
The Post’s Page 6 has gotten a sneak peak at the book that is said to have the usually close-lipped Secret Service in an uproar.
Page Six leads with details from Kessler’s book that Secret Service agents had a tough time protecting Jenna and Barbara Bush.
Kessler reveals that President George W. Bush's twin daughters did everything they could to escape their watch.
"Jenna would purposely try to lose her protection by going through red lights or by jumping in her car without telling agents where she was going," Kessler discloses in a passage highlighted by the New York Post's Page Six column.
"As a result, in a total waste of manpower, the Secret Service kept her car under surveillance so agents could follow her."
The book also tells how Henry Hager, Jenna's boyfriend and future husband, got so intoxicated that the Secret Service had to take him to Georgetown University Hospital.
On another occasion, Hager was boozing with Jenna at a Washington, D.C., bar and picked a fight with several other patrons. Secret Service agents intervened to avoid a brawl.
Among many other revelations, Kessler discloses that Richard Nixon's vice president, Spiro Agnew, had extramarital affairs while in office, and that President Barack Obama, despite claims to have drastically cut back, still smokes regularly.
Really? He lies???

Can you see where this administration is leading us??? Into a ONE WORLD trap with out a door.
Gore: Cap-and-Trade Will Bring Global Government
Monday, July 13, 2009 4:11 PM
By: Rick Pedraza
Former Vice President Al Gore told a British conference on the environment that the energy tax under the so-called cap-and-trade legislation in Congress would bring about global governance.
Speaking at the Smith School World Forum on Enterprise and the Environment in Oxford, England, Gore said the United States is responding to the threat of global warming with the cap-and-trade legislation, Times Online reported.
“Just two weeks ago, the House of Representatives passed the Waxman-Markey climate bill,” Gore told the conference. “[This is] very much a step in the right direction. It achieves real reductions below the 1990 base level by 2020, and that is the threshold that many have said will dramatically increase the prospects for success.”
Gore acknowledged that the bill includes a carbon tax that President Barack Obama supports and is helping to push through the Senate.
“For all of its flaws, [it] does put a price on carbon," he admitted.
Gore, whose film documentary, "An Inconvenient Truth," on the claims of global warming won him praise from environmentalists, told the forum that Obama had secured billions of dollars from Congress for renewable energy work.
But, “It is the awareness itself that will drive the change,” he said. “And one of the ways it will drive the change is through global governnance and global agreements.”
Environmental awareness among young people is the great hope for the future, Gore said.
“The average age of scientists in the space center control room was 26, which means they were 18 when they heard President Kennedy say he wanted to put a man on the moon in 10 years. Neil Armstrong did it eight years and two months later.”
Gore urged political leaders and governments around the world to join the battle against climate change. He conceded, however, that the level of awareness and concern among populations has not crossed the threshold where political leaders feel that they must change.
“The only way politicians will act is if awareness rises to a level to make them feel that it’s a necessity,” he said. “We have everything we need except political will, but political will is a renewable resource.”

Hillary Clinton: Reports of My Demise Premature
Thursday, July 16, 2009 3:40 PM
WASHINGTON -- Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton says she is comfortable in her position as President Barack Obama's top diplomat and has been consistently involved in foreign policy decisions despite a fractured elbow that kept her out of the limelight for a month.
I broke my elbow, not my larynx," she told reporters Thursday, brushing aside speculation about a loss of influence within the administration.

Yesterday in Washington, President Obama was in the middle of giving a speech when his teleprompter fell to the floor and shattered. Meanwhile Joe Biden's teleprompter has been treated for exhaustion.

Joe Biden’s wife Jill is having surgery today to relieve pain in her shoulder. Apparently, it’s a repetitive stress injury from elbowing Joe every time he says something stupid.

Stop Car Wash Soap Runoff
Washington State Officials to Regulate Car Wash Soap Runoff

Seattle (AP) - It's one of the great American summer pastimes: Pulling the car onto the driveway on a sun-drenched Saturday afternoon, lathering it up with soap, rinsing it off and watching the sudsy water flow toward the storm drain.
Now, officials in Washington and elsewhere are telling residents to either take that old ride to the car wash, or hold the soap and wash the car over gravel or grass to filter the dirty water.
The officials are trying to prevent the runoff, with all of its soap, grim and metals from the car, from reaching rivers and streams and harming the fish and other aquatic life in them.
"The soaps are just as toxic as some of the chemicals we regulate in the industrial (sector). They kill fish," said Sandy Howard, a Washington Department of Ecology spokeswoman.

Who's winning?? I usually lose. I recently purchased a Lexmark printer at Sam's Club, it's a combo three in one and when it came time to replace the toner cartridges from the original toners, it wouldn't work. I ended up calling the 1-800 number and they determined the cartridges were bad. So I had to wait until they sent me some replacements even though I had bought them also at Sam's Club and then had to send them the bad cartridges in a prepaid envelope. Way more work than I wanted to go through. So, the moral of my boring story is, there are bad cartridges to be had even when they are new. I never had that happen before.

Yeah didnt you see me waving up to you???? No I missed it...
Ok brat, ya shoulda seen it...it was my first time and it was GREAT! So you missed out big time...
It is really cool and I am glad you had the chance to see it. I had a chance to see it before. Couple of months ago went up north with friends and brought a powerful telescope and it was cool to check out the moon( the one in the sky lol).
I love that kinda stuff...definitely one of those "wow" moments.
Yes it is, I really want to be in Florida for a night shuttle launch..
Then you should put it on your honey do list...make it happen someday for sure! We've seen them land at Edwards...but that's nothing compared to a launch.

So what is your beef? Why do you have to dredge up your complaints about a dead man? Some people liked him and they are entitled to their opinions. When you go charging after a dead man the way you are, you almost appear jealous he's getting the attention he is even in death and that you have nothing better to do. What's the matter? Run out of stuff to scream about the Dems for?
Sorry, thought this was a public forum to express one's opinions...no? You don't agree? I don't care.
But don't let your little heart be troubled ms mama, I will never run out of something to talk about you dems, you give me loads and loads of material every single day sad to say.
So you think dangling a little baby over a balcony with a blanket over his head is normal? Do you think paying to manufacture blond hair blue eyed kids for Mikey to take care of by himself with no mom in light that he openly admits to "sleeping with little boys" because it's sooo sweet" should just be forgotten because he overdosed on drugs? We should honor this guy? For what?? Being a pedophile? What kind of psycho babble is "I think you're jealous of the attention he's getting"? You sound like someone else on here when you make statements like that. He was a singer, he entertained people. A lot of great entertainers have come and gone but we don't shut down a City that has no money to fund it to 'honor' them. And he was a freak of nature, everyone seems to forget that, they just remember the cute little kid.
I do think however it's makes a sad statement about America that we honor those who endanger children and it will be a miracle if the three kids come out of this even halfway normal. Odds are they won't because all the "responsible" adults that surrounded them "looked the other way". Disgusting and criminal. See, he got charged with child molestation when he brought other people's children into his bed, so he found a way around it and manufactured some of his own and nobody would be able to tell him he couldn't.
Perhaps it was the photograph they showed this weekend of Freaky with this three kids and the kids are naked from the waist up and he is smiling sickly in the middle of them that made me say enough. Maybe that's my beef, I think he was a child molester and the kids are safer with him gone.
Rantsnraves..Micheal Jackson is dead...you can let go now. Some people in the world actually accomplish great things..others sit on their arse and criticize them on anonymous forums. Yep, typical, typical. Instead of either letting it go as you stated MsBoots, Raz has to stomp on a dead person's grave. If the world or the news networks or the country or his family want to memorialize him, so be it. So what he was weird? I don't think too many people would disagree with that notion but the guy knew how to do music. That's what most of the world will remember. And uh Raz, I guess if it is that irksome to you, perhaps you shouldn't watch TV? Just a suggestion since I wouldn't want you coming unglued now. I mean, it really hurts me to see you turn so hateful.
Oh and another thing: I suppose you don't believe in innocent until proven guilty? I suppose to you the pay-offs to the families doing nothing but milking him for all he was worth, is his admission of guilt? You don't have to answer -- I already know your answer. This is one big thing that is wrong with the system. No more innocent until proven guilty but rather guilty until proven innocent.
I think rantsnraves was probably annoyed if Fox preempted their hate shows for the funeral/memorial service....how dare MJ die and Hannity not be broadcasted!

You know, I watched that clip. I think this man, as disturbed as he was, I don't think he "slept" with kids in a sexual way. I really think it was more like a slumber party. Unfortunately, it was a vulnerability issue and people think or wonder, but if there is no inappropriate conduct, perhaps he should have used better judgment but I doubt he really did anything.
I mean, if I had a friend's child want to come to my house and spend the night (sort of an "auntie" type thing, we could very well set up a bed area on the floor in front of the tv or something and sleep next to each other and fall asleep watching movies or playing a game. That's not exactly wrong. It may be a bit unnecessary or strange, but I really don't think it's wrong. If a child has an opportunity to spend time at a celebrity's home, they might not want to sleep in a big room by themselves. They might also want to continue the fun, so they have a "slumber party".
I really think he was just a giant kid. He never had a childhood and I really think he wanted to "have friends sleep over".
I think it's the adults in society who make it more than it is...kinda like when a man wants to work in a daycare or as a kindergarten teacher...people think it's strange and start overreacting. Meanwhile, a man really can just enjoy being around children without it meaning something weird. It's very possible.
Exactly MrsF -- You nailed this in a way that perhaps Raz can understand. Thanks!

Not true mama, al sharpton told his kids today at the funeral that their dad was not strange. But what he had to deal with was.

So all of a sudden you've fallen in love with Martin Bashir? Once again, no one would deny MJ was weird but you are very much indicating you feel this was sexual. Guilty until proven innocent.
Hmmm, I seem to think we were called really terrible names for stuff like that.... I guess ones complaint of one person is not the same for all....
