I just heard someone say that "Whoever the libs go after the hardest is the one they fear the most" and I would say there is definitely some truth to that.  Look at the immense fear the libs show for her on here, they must be terrified.  She knows exactly what's she doing.  The nastier they get, the more worried they are. LOL ;)

Let her run for Senator from Seward's Icebox. If the people of Alaska are still foolish enough to elect her to that job they will deserve what they get. Maybe she will move to Arizona and run for MCains seat?  Wouldnt that be a laugh?  :D

Junior Senator's from most states have very little power when they get to D.C. Just look at how long it to McCain and Kyle to rise to top positions. And what have they done for Arizona?

Caribu Sarah would be better off sitting at home and writing a book about baby names and being a gramma  than try to become a real mover and shaker in the capital :P

Governor Palin just gave a very lengthy resignation speech and guess what.....NO TELEPROMPTER! :shock: WHAT???  Are you kidding????  LOL:D But...she's supposed to be the "dumb" one.....hmmmm.  Guess not, must be somebody else.

This is exactly what I like about her.  She's a mover and a shaker so it's hard telling where she may end up, but wherever it is they will know she's arrived.  There is a Senate seat opening for Alaska, I would really like to see her go there and shake up those A-Hole's and expose the corruption..  She could teach them a thing or two about ethics and how to speak out on corruption no matter what party they are in.  Again, how do you not like someone with those ethics?

Her opposition in her State (libs) have thrown every curve ball at her known to mankind, brutal and personal and here she is, still fresh, in the news and moving forward with a big smile.  The "good old boys" in DC might not be too happy about this if that is the path she is choosing because she won't go along to get along.  Look out Nancy poo, and Hillary, you will no longer be the "best known" faces in Washington.  LOL  It will be interesting, but then she always is and does it with such flair and aplomb.  You betcha!!;)

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin says she will resign from office July 26; doesn't announce plans

WASILLA, Alaska (Associated Press) --  Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said Friday she is resigning from office at the end of the month, raising speculation that she would focus on a run for the White House in the 2012 race.

The former Republican vice presidential candidate made the surprise announcement from her home in suburban Wasilla on Friday morning. She said she would step down July 26 but didn't announce her plans.

"Once I decided not to run for re-election, I also felt that to embrace the conventional Lame Duck status in this particular climate would just be another dose of politics as usual, something I campaigned against and will always oppose," Palin said in a statement released by her office.

"It is my duty to always protect our great state. With that in mind, my family and I determined that it is best to make a difference this summer, and I am willing to change things, so that this administration, with its positive agenda, its accomplishments, and its successful road to an incredible future, can continue without interruption and with great administrative and legislative success," she said.

Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell will be inaugurated at the governor's picnic in Fairbanks at the end of the month, Palin spokesman Dave Murrow said.

Capitalism creates wealth.  Period end.  The government creates DEBT.  Period end.

Greed, selfish....evil....you must be speaking about the Barry group.  I know he has done his very best to make Wall Street greed the excuse for him sucking up private enterprise in our Country, there is greed everywhere you look but where more so than with our elected officials??  Your philosophy is doomed to fail on its face because when you make everyone poor, who is going to pay for Date Night?:cool:

This coming from those who love Walmart.  They follow the same strategy as what the government is doing by killing all competition but under cutting prices driving down wages and getting rid of health care for the profit of just the owners, but thats ok.

Obviously you aren't keeping up luci.  Wal Mart is siding with the Unions and Prez regarding mandatory healthcare and said 95% of their employees have health care.  So what do you make of that??

But to follow up on your statement, does that mean you agree with me and others are on here who see Barack Hussein Obama's policies moving us at a rapid pace to Government Control a.k.a. Socialism??  Because that is where all this is headed, he could give two flips about our economy because it gives him more opportunity to take over and build his power. So he wants it as bad as it can get because "you never let a good crisis go to waste, you can get things done that you would never be able to otherwise" Rhambo Emanuel.  That is why everything is a CRISIS which of course, it's not.  He thinks we are too stupid to catch on luci, what do you think about that??:cool:

History repeats itself with a novice at the helm.  Why would American's want to pay that price all over again, it took years to dig out from that fiasco.

I hope you aren't confusing communism with socialism.  Is that what this is all about??  Most if not all European countries have Socialist governments and policies. Europe is financially doing very well and live in peace with their neighbors now that they have created the European Union.
I am not referring to the old Socialism but to the modern one. Socialism is not extreme right nor extreme left but in the middle. This school of thought believes in small governments, a fair taxing system, no dependency in foreign countries for oil/energy, good health care system for all, equality, full civil rights and freedom for the people, jobs for all, absolute environmental protection and right and fair distribution of the land. Protection, education, health care and work for the natives of the county, free and fair pricing of goods, full support for technology in all areas specially in renewable energy, non intervention in the internal problems of other countries unless through the UN and then if necessary NATO.

Living in peace with their neighbors??  Have you not heard of terrorist attacks?

Inflation in France is so over the top that I have friends who visited there a few months ago said they paid $17 per person for an Egg McMuffin and Coffee.  That is job killing, prosperity killing inflation. That is what happens when you continue to spend and print money you don't have like we are.

They all want to reverse their "universal health care" because IT DOESN'T WORK.  They are warning us....don't do it.  People are suffering and dying because of it and have no place to turn.  We do clara, we are still able  to turn to the private sector and allow competition to make the changes necessary, but the private sector cannot compete with a non-profit gigantic machine like the Government, they will put them all out of business which is exactly the intent.  Government dependency is just that and it leaves you NO options a.k.a. loss of your fundamental individual freedoms.  If we wanted to live in Europe, we would already be there.  We are unique from them and that is why we have always prospered and they haven't.

Again, name one prosperous Socialistic Country?  You can't.  I guess you don't understand that Socialism is the path to Communism, there's really not a stone's throw difference other than Fascism which we are already beginning to experience.  When you have over 50% of your Country welfare dependent a.k.a. government controlled, doesn't that sound a lot like Communism?  When the government wants to come in your home and control what temperature you set your thermostat, what light bulbs you can use and you must pass Government inspection before selling your home to make sure they approve creating another whole layer of bureaucracy, that is communism.  You are allowing them in your home now and allowing them to dictate your health management and who lives and dies.  At some point, there will be no turning back and they can just tell us how often we can fart (green house gases) and there won't be anything we can do about it.  Socialism/Fascism/Communism is quickly becoming our reality.  Mandatory Community Service for the young and retired.

Attend a Tea Party this weekend and see for yourself, they aren't radicals, they are just American's who are afraid of what is being done to our Country and want their voices to be heard.  We melted down the phone lines in Congress in protest over the CAP and TAX bill and they voted for it anyway...When the people are no longer feared but the government is, we are in deep deep trouble clara.:X:cool:

If we revamp our tax structure and adopt the fair tax we will have more than enough money to fund every single darn thing the government wants.

go to http://www.fairtax.org.    It is a radical idea but it would work. People just have to be willing to pay more for things up front. but remember no deductions from your pay for FICA, Medicare, or income.  take home pay under this WILL take you home. Also for you conservatives it would reduce yes reduce the size of government by almost completely eliminating the Ifernal Revenue Service. Just read about it and think about it.

 Here is some info:

What is the FairTax plan?
The FairTax plan is a comprehensive proposal that replaces all federal income and payroll based taxes with an integrated approach including a progressive national retail sales tax, a prebate to ensure no American pays federal taxes on spending up to the poverty level, dollar-for-dollar federal revenue replacement, and, through companion legislation, the repeal of the 16th Amendment. This nonpartisan legislation (HR 25/S 296) abolishes all federal personal and corporate income taxes, gift, estate, capital gains, alternative minimum, Social Security, Medicare, self-employment taxes and replaces them with one simple, visible, federal retail sales tax administered primarily by existing state sales tax authorities. The IRS is disbanded and defunded. The FairTax taxes us only on what we choose to spend on new goods or services, not on what we earn. The FairTax is a fair, efficient, transparent, and intelligent solution to the frustration and inequity of our current tax system.

I'm just wondering if you think President Obama believes in small government.  He has raised the bar on "big" government in just 5 months (he has infiltrated the auto business, the banking business, wants to cap salaries for corporations, etc., all the while saying he does not want to be in these businesses and now he is positioning to take over the health care system).  And what do you consider a "fair taxing system" - redistribution of wealth?  I don't have a problem helping those that really need help, but I have a problem with what President Obama wants - he wants to overly tax from those that have worked hard to make a good living for themselves and distribute it to those that think others should pay their way in life.

Come on, admit it, you are the queen of BIG BOOTY, you definitely hold the record and you were the LAST one to be BOOTED so you own the GOLD CROWN OF BEING BOOTED a.k.a. BIG Booty. (Isn't that what you told me??) LOL :D  What I want to know is how do you keep coming back on and not BANNED like dwig?  How many chances to do you get anyway, you must be on your lucky 13??:D

In my opinion, he should most definitely get the BIG "booty" (sorry, I know that's a sensitive word for you) but that's not your decision to make or mine or anyone other than his State and his Constituants.  I know the libs on here luv rolling around in the 'sex' gossip mud for some reason but come on, that is junior high stuff.  Don't you have something better to talk about?  Come join the grown ups.

FYI...to generally has an o in it.  Ronald is not spelled Roanld.  And in America we spell apologize with a z.  Okey dokey??;)

Whoa,  MF, of what do you speak?  I'm thinking she caught an Alaskan salmon....What does that have to do with a gutter brain?  I think you should think before you post.

Hey, LL..I know I may be considered to be somewhat naive, but what the heck do you think Palin is referring to in this pic and does it, do you suppose, have anything at all to do with Gov. Sanford?

Sure...you were talking about Gov. Sanford and his Alaskan salmon.  Gimme a break!!!  I did think before I posted and you and I both know what you meant.  Don't try to be coy with me.

Jeez, Louise!  How are you able to know what I meant...if you did, why do you ask so many questions of me on other posts?  Being a psychic should allow you to know the answers without asking them.  Now about this fish that Sarah is excited about....do you think she might have seen it with Gov. Sanford?  They do share conservative  values, don't they.

The gutter sniper strikes again....what is it about 'sex' issues that get the libs all giddy?  Man, you would think the schmuck Sanford was the only guy to ever cheat on his wife, give me a break.  He did, he admitted he did, he admitted too much, more information than anyone needed and if his wife was smart she will own everything and he will be in Argentina with his "soul mate".  End of story.  He's not making decisions for me or anyone else in this State, so that's it.  His career as a national politician is done.  Do you guys need him to bleed or what?  Now it's up to him, his State and his family what becomes of him and no question they will do just that.

Why do the libs try to make "family values" a dirty word?  Ever notice that?  Makes you wonder what goes on their lives that they feel the need to sneer at that as though it's something evil.  Instead of understanding we need to stress it more, they want to ridicule those who actually talk about them.  Does everybody live up to higher standards, uhh, no.  Would it be better to not have any expectations of a higher standard, uhh, no.

Just because a slime ball like Sanford comes along and dumps everything he's believed in for a beautiful woman, he isn't the first to do that and he certainly won't be the last.  But give it a break on the "family and moral values" issue, every once in awhile you find a bad egg in the carton.  Let's at least try to be adults on here BIG Booty.;)

So "prosperous" is the only factor by which you measure the success of a country?  What a big surprise.

People care about Bill Clinton, what Michelle obama said a year ago and the others for the same reason people continue to care about Sarah Palin and her family.

Who at this point in the Republican party can be a viable candidate for the next Presidential cycle?  Since some people are comparing him to one term Prez Carter, I do not really at this point in time see a Ronald Reagan type that could run.  Lets see what happens over the next 3 years. There might not even be a country or world by then.

Conspiracy Theory - you may be right...a presidential election in 4 years might be the least of our concerns by then.

Anyway, I have been interested in Eric Cantor but I don't know that much about him.  Any thoughts on him?  He seems to be one who returns conservatism to the Republican party.

It's become a psycho sick jealousy thing with the libs.  Governor Palin has done nothing wrong, she is a Conservative.  WOW, somebody say it ain't so!!  LOL, they are just reacting from fear of her popularity, fear of her principles and fear of her energy in the party.  If she was so horrible as they keep trying to make her out to be they wouldn't be so obsessed with her.

The libs want to control everything and this is something they have no control over and it's killing them so they set out to destroy her but she keeps that smile and flicks them off her shoulder like the pesky insects they are and they hate her for it.  They prefer character assassin comedians for their party leaders, not somebody who actually knows what they are doing.

You will have to excuse BIG Booty MrsF, the problem here is she has no information to offer and this is the scope of her knowledge base.  That's ok, every family has one just like her and we tend to just nod and agree and ignore. (winky, wink;)).

It speaks volumes that the left doesn't have anyone sticking up for family values and continue to sneer at the very idea somebody would.  Perhaps that is exactly what is wrong with our Country. :cool:
